Heritage The Villas in Bel Ombre

Overall, the resort is beautiful and well-designed.
The villas are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully furnished. The atmosphere is calm, the facilities are attractive, and the general level of maintenance and cleanliness is commendable. The location and overall concept clearly have strong potential and reflect a high-end resort experience.

However, there is one major issue that significantly affected our stay, and it is important to address it clearly and honestly.
The problem is not related to the staff. On the contrary, the employees were polite, respectful, and tried to help whenever possible. The issue appears to stem from a strict executive policy applied specifically to the villa section, not the hotel rooms.

The villa policy seems to be built around excessive restrictions and constant additional charges, even though the accommodation itself is already priced at a premium level. Almost every basic request is met with “this is charged,” “this is not included,” or “this is the villa policy.” This includes essential hospitality elements such as bottled water replacement, basic toiletries, and simple guest needs that are normally standard in a five-star resort.

Dining options for villa guests are also unnecessarily limited. Breakfast is restricted to a single option and location, despite the presence of well-equipped restaurants and open buffet facilities within the resort. The same applies to dinner, where guests are directed to only a couple of side restaurants, with no flexibility or access to the main buffet experience. This limitation feels artificial and unjustified.

Even simple requests often require long discussions and approvals, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience. In a resort of this caliber, guests should not need to negotiate for basic hospitality services. High-end hospitality is about anticipation, generosity, and ease — not procedures, debates, and repeated reminders of extra charges.

Additionally, enforcing an early checkout time of 10:00 a.m. for villas, with uncertainty and hesitation when requesting a reasonable extension to 1:00 p.m., further reinforces the feeling of rigidity rather than guest-centered service.

In summary:
The resort itself is excellent in terms of design, cleanliness, and infrastructure. Unfortunately, the villa management policy undermines this quality and negatively impacts the overall image of the resort. This is not a staff issue, but a decision-making and policy issue that deserves serious reconsideration.

With a more generous, flexible, and guest-focused villa policy, this place could truly match its five-star potential.

Nice villa + view + caddy. Unfortunatly no drink & snacks for the formule "Gourmet Bliss" / all inclusive into the Villa we must go to the hotel which is a little bit far from the Villa. My children must wait until they arrive at the hotel before eating. Personnel are very nice but they don't communicate altogether! They must coorperate between staff because one of them say that we will have a cake for my mum's birthday into the Villa so we wait for that and didn't have any drinks but only at the hotel.. and another person say that we will have the cake only at the restaurant. I'm a little bit disaponted for some drink and snacks that we didn't have into the Villa pour the formula: Gourmet bliss & we didn't have wardrobe nor slipper also! Othewise , the view is so wonderful ! .. and the caddy also
