Hotel Riazor Aeropuerto in Mexico City

We stayed in a Junior suite and I think the only complaints I would have would be with the air conditiong and the pool. During the day our room would be cool but at night it seemed like it would stop working. Our first night I said something to the front desk and they sent maintenance right away. The problem seems to have been fixed until we came back from centro when the room was warm again. Our first night the pool was very cloudy and we found a dead bird just outside of the pool. Maintenance quickly disposed of the bird. The second night the water was more clear but the pool needs to be scrubbed because the bottom was very slippery. The water temperature is wonderful at around 30 degrees celsius. There is a restaurant AND a cafe. There is room service until 1100 pm each day however the cafe is 24 hours and has great juice. In general all of the staff was extremely nice and ready to help in any way they could. In my opinion the hotel is nicer or just as nice as Holiday Inn but for half the price. I also felt like the hotel was very family friendly.

Nice but dated hotel. Staff is friendly and professional but the rooms haven't been kept up 100%. Small things, like stains on the wallpaper, things that regular housekeeping just can't do. I'd stay again but I'm keeping my expectations muted.

We are beyond pleased with our experience at Hotel Raizor. The staff were superb, friendly and authentic, multilingual, experienced and personable. We go every year to CDMX and we’ve been to countless of hotels of different stars: this was by far the best staff.

The pool is great! Like really, really great: it’s covered, temperature-controlled, has jacuzzi, towels and you can order food. The attendant there was super sweet. Oh they have a sauna too! Just tell them a few minutes before so they turn it on. Just know they it is about 4 feet deep, which might not be suitable for younger kids.

The beds were so wonderful. The sheets were soft, the bedding was luxurious, as were the pillows. It really felt like the whoever designed the rooms had the client in mind.

Finally the airport shuttle. They have a free airport shuttle to and from the airport that is super convenient. The hotel is just 6-8 minutes from the airport and the main bus terminal TAPO, so it’s a great place for travelers. It’s actually very conveniently located for tourism in CDMX, and for concerts and events.

Food at the restaurant was good, not great. But it had a lot of variety, good value, and great staff.

I’d also note that we were traveling with family and the staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had rooms basically next to each other. This might seem like a small thing, but we’ve asked at every hotel and it has never been honored. The staff at Hotel Raizor did and it speaks to the level of care they have for their clients.

We will definitely be back because the value, amenities, staff and overall experience at Hotel Raizor was amazing.

Hotel was in the perfect location for my family event. It is close to the airport and the hotel offers a free shuttle.
The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were divine! I slept extremely well.
The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast for a few. They will cook your eggs to order.
I was very impressed with the staff's ability to speak English as my Spanish is limited. It was very easy to communicate.
I didn't have the time to use the pool this trip. However I have used it years ago in a previous visit.

Highly recommend this spot if in Mexico City. Pool and small gym make it an easy spot to rest and relax as you explore Mexico City. They have kind of thought of everything you would need. Rooms were nice and quiet as well despite the city being very loud.

Great stay at this hotel. For the price of 1100 MXN we felt very welcome, they picked us up from the airport and dropped us off there as well. The hotel room, nothing to say, was equipped and had everything you needed. If we want something specific, that is, there are several phone numbers, just call 0. Excellent!! 👍🏼

I would choose this place when traveling on business. Overall, it’s okay.

Great place to stay. Very clean. Extremely comfortable beds.

My stay was very short but the staff at the reception were very friendly 24 hours a day. They have free and very safe airport transportation. The facilities are very nice, better than in photos, they have a good location to the airport if you have a long layover. All very well. I would stay here again.
