i counted 57 wheelbarrows of seaweed removed one morning from the beach. Th infestation is relentless and not the faut of the property management. We enjoyed the yoga and the multiple lounge spots
This is a paradise on Earth. Rustic, eco cabanas by the sea, no noise, no fuzz, just the beauty of the jungle and ocean waves at your front door.
Fantastic property, location and staff! Rustic, glamping style hotel in a perfect location with its own private little cove/beach, a fantastic restaurant that serves both Mexican, and other, cuisine, and a great staff ready to accomodate…A place where you can truly relax in the perfect spot right on the beach, in rooms with thatched roofs and some with private outdoor bathrooms (shower under the stars...
It's worth coming just for the surroundings: nature, beautiful beaches, a clean, well-maintained facility, and beautiful views
The room was amazing and just steps from the water. Miguel and the crew at the restaurant took amazing care of us and prepared some of the best meals we had on our trip
The property was incredible, the views were gorgeous and the staff were kind and accommodating. I couldn’t have had a better place to stay 🙏

The luxury cabana right on the beach was great, with its front porch with chairs, hammock, chairs, very comfortable bed, small refrigerator, 5-gallon dispenser of purified water, steps away from the terrace restaurant/bar with excellent food from breakfast to dinner
My wife and I stayed for the weekend during our time at Na’atik Language and Culture Institute in Felipe Carrillo Puerto. The staff at the hotel was friendly and welcoming
Nice spot right on the beach. But the sea grass and the loud music (neither the fault of the hotel) made our tropical beach vacation a bit of a disappointment.
Good position for shops, beach, ATM etc. Very nice bungalow on the beach (especially after free upgrade), excellent service staff. This hotel was a real 'find' and very good value for money
We recently stayed in this beautiful rustic hotel in a bungalow on the beach just steps from the ocean. The staff are the absolute strength of this hotel with nothing too much trouble
Lovely stay at a beautiful beach and the Hotel Zamas for 4 days in early November. Everything was perfect and the staff was professional, friendly, and attentive to my every need

We had a very nice time at El Paraiso Hotel de Tulum. It was located on a beautiful beach – although be aware of the season, lots of seaweed. So I don’t know if it’s just in the summer or what, but there was a lot of it
We loved the beach club and the beach itself is beautiful with nice clean fine white sand. There is a lot of seaweed at times in the water
Keep in mind the sargasm season when choosing a beach front resort. It was still lovely but i wasn't prepared. 😄
After park hours, you can keep your wristband. There are some great restaurants down the beach and the restaurant at the beach club is good. Breakfast is very good and the service is excellent
This is an amazing place to stay. Very nice beach and you can take the electric car to go to the ruins
But once you stepped over the seaweed, the water was really pretty. The service was great-they answered all my questions and were able to recommend a snorkeling and cenote tour

The water in the bathroom took a little while to turn hot, but this was a very minor inconvenience. The bed was slightly firmer than I like it, but again, this is a minor issue. We would certainly stay here again
The location was ideal for getting around town and checking out the shops in La Valeta. The lobby was gorgeous and the room was clean
It was a little noisy being so close to the street with car alarms going off, not much the hotel could do about that
The terracotta colours and soft lighting makes it feel really cozy. The pool is so cute and o enjoyed cooling off in it. Lots of shopping and food just one block away
Starting with being stranded at airport, to no working telephone in hotel (isn't that illegal?), to the beach being much further than described to reach on bike, to the non-working cable box, to a bathroom window that would not close (eco-conscience should allow for all windows to close for when air conditioning is on), to a pool that allows for wading only! Very disappointed
I stayed here for 9 nights. I loved the whole vibe. I rented a bicycle a few times for 200mxn a day. The location is good. Close to lots of food options. The pool is cute. The staff is wonderful.

This little boutique hotel was like staying in a wellness focused luxury treehouse in the jungle. Lush greenery all around and from every window view. A gorgeous beach with excellent beachside loungers, towels, and a bar
Bravo! We stayed in Room 7 for 9 days...awesome property, awesome staff, and great location on Tulum Beach. Highly recommended! We have been visiting Tulum Beach every year for the last 10...this was the best!
Amazing personalized service since there is only 20 rooms on the entire property. Communicate via WhatsApp for instant replies and quick action. Rooms were clean and beautiful. Breakfast can be improved.
Absolutely beautiful. Staff was great. Town is very expensive. No pool here, but the beach is amazing.
Just returned from a lovely visit to Tulum. We had a second floor beach front room with amazing views. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food and service was excellent too
We enjoyed the morning yoga class as well. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful and slightly rustic refuge. Note: Rooms on the ground level are recommended for folks that have challenges with stairs

but the right time of year and opening the door for the ocean breeze made it very doable!
We will definitely be back here again!
Our room, 2 Queen Beds Room, was next to the kitchen, which was operating all day to serve the beach, pool and restaurant area. Loud service staff and food smell accompanied us all day long
Nice people, great view… but Great staff, okay breakfast and free loungechairs. The sea was a bit rough, and it’s about 4 kilometers from the next beach, so bear that in mind if you book
Great short stay! Enjoyed my stay here at Punta Piedra Beach Posasa. Had a great view of the ocean from my balcony and loved that the beach was just steps away from my room
All the staff are friendly and worldly. Luis, the night security guard was wonderful. Beautiful grounds, gorgeous beach and views, a great spot in Tulum.

Unfortunately, the beach and water was covered in seaweed, so we did not get in the water (although some people did) but I laid in the sun on the beach and our patio. Staff was attentive and helpful
We went in the off season, so the beach had a lot of seaweed, but we had done our research so we expected this and we still enjoyed the beach area, the deck and beach chairs
Pay attention to the Sargassum/algae season if you want to use the beaches
The included breakfast is simple but delicious and we enjoyed it every morning out in the courtyard with the morning breeze. The private plunge pool was absolutely essential and made the stay even more relaxing
A nice hotel with a good breakfast. Parking is limited, but there's a clean beach in front. A restaurant next door offers drinks on the beach. The rooms are very clean, and the prices are reasonable.
Staff was really nice, good location in front the beach. Just a lack of privacy with the bathroom / toilets (no wall ahaha). Plus the breakfast in included :)

It’s farther from the main Tulum Beach restaurant area, so you’re either looking at a 25-minute walk or renting a bike or scooter to get around
The property is beautiful and the beach gorgeous. We did not stay in the hotel, but went to the beach club. We loved there was no day booking fee, but planned to have our meals there and make use of the bar for beverages
I received my QR code and also was able to parc my car here. They have no minimum spend , great aspect comparing to other beach clubs in Tulum. The small walk to the beach is amazing, really nice place
The prices for food and drink were very expensive so all in, it would be the same as other beach clubs where the entrance fee goes towards food and beverage. It was the lack of service that was very disappointing
They offer towels, restrooms we’re clean. They offer also towels for the beach , it will cost extra but the price was really ok
It was not busy when we arrived and it still took almost an hour to get a drink. When no server approached us despite us waiting patiently, we went to the bar to try to place an order

Nice hotel in Tulum Nice hotel with free parking and free beach club access to their sister hotel. Pool could be cleaner. Breakfast nice but limited choice.
The location is perfect between the tulum downtown and the beach, parking and great restaurants walking distance. Overall good experience, comfortable bed and room, the shared pool was great after a day exploring
I absolutely loved staying here. I am already planning when I’ll come back and I think I will make this
Beautifully designed boutique hotel. Had a lovely large and clean room. Swimming pool is gorgeous but could use a few scoops to remove the fallen leaves. Staff shined bright by their absence, breakfast at 8
We stayed at the Luxury Apartment (Deck Garden Apartment w/ Private Pool), the room looked good at first but it actually is a little rundown and needs some maintenance or updates
Quaint and charming property. Walking and biking distance to shops and restaurants and beach. Rooms were clean and comfortable and balcony was a great way to relax.

Nice price, 15 minutes away from the beach and 5 minutes away from the ruins... As close as you can stay from Tulum and with electricity all day and night
For how inexpensive the hotel is and close to the Tulum Mayan site, it was definitely worth it. What you'd expect out of a 500 peso (about $30 US) room.
After visit ruins, is a good place for have an natural coxonout ice cream, which was delicious, super yumi and natural, it was the best :D

They also had live music at some point. There was a little inlet where there was no seaweed which was nice. For inly 300 pesos you get access to the beach (with day beds) and the cenotes, great value
Fantastic place to spend a day at beach and a cenote. Subtle music, great food and drink served by the friendliest waiter Arnold! Definitely would do it again.
It’s on the beach with a beach club away from the lodging. It’s quiet, the staff is friendly, and…it’s right on the beach. It’s also next to the protected beach of the Tulum ruins. Walk pretty much all day if you want
I had an amazing day on this great beach in Tulum. The beach was beautiful with a little cenote type of are by the beach was so beautiful to swim. The music , the food and the service was fantastic
He is super friendly, attentive! Will definitely come back here again in the future!
I’m just so happy that I encountered him. He was very patientand he kept coming back to make sure that we were OK. I would highly recommend coming to this beach club

So close to the ruins and surrounded by the sea and jungle. I will surely be back again!!! Mucho gracias Ikal!!!
Amazing stay for nature lovers! It’s absolutley beautiful here the staff and very kind and helpful! They have so many unique private accommodations that all have their own charm! They have a variety of activities for their guest such as yoga, healing ceremonies, sound bath ect… The hotel is family friendly as well
I had the most relaxing stay at IKAL. i booked a trip to celebrate my birthday month. The hotel concierge was super helpful in booking my private airport pick up and drop off. I booked the maya plunge and it was stunning
Tulum is very expensive, so be prepared to pay more for everything in général in comparaison to other places Mexico but Ikal still deserves 5 stars because the higher cost applies to all of Tulum
I booked a private tour to visit the ruins, cenote and ven a la luz. The hotel arranged a private tour guide Nelson who was amazing. Words can't describe how beautiful this sanctuary is
The room and property were well kept. The food was delicious and staff super friendly. The wellness programs were included with my stay and were super therepeutic

Maria Del Mar is a beautiful hotel located with it's own private beach. The beach is indeed beautiful with a couple of look out points. You also have exclusive access to sunbeds
Went at the end of June and had a great time. The room was just as the pictures show beach is right off your step literally. We got to see sea turtles at midnight
Santiago and Edgar were wonderful. The housekeeping was amazing. The plunge pool was perfect. Close to amazing sunset rooftops
Really nice hotel, a bit rustic as in the lizards can get right into your room and poop, but the hotel staff do try to keep it as clean as possible. Just steps away from the private beach
Minimalist, no frills except the amazing beach cove. The day staff was great very nice and respectful. The night security guard seemed a little off, not sure he was gay friendly.
Our room was super spacious (pics on booking. com don't do it justice!) and we loved the massive walk in shower. We also had a beautiful balcony with a sea view

Is a great place, very rustic, try not to bring valuables, the safety cages seams like not to safety, but we had valuables at the room and all was there, we didn’t have any problem with lost items, the room are amazing, so rustic, nothing fancy; but the beach is so great
Next to Calaluna is a nude beach in case that bothers you, not every one is nude but just letting you know. We had a bless a great price and the best room with view at the sea ❤️ I’ll return here for sure
The hotel is right on the beach. You can rent bikes from near and go to Gran Cenote and Mayan Ruins. There isnt much people so its peaceful. But it lacks proper cooling system in rooms. Just a fan which is not enough
The private beach access with the world's second largest reef within swimming distance is not to be missed. The same could be said for the fresh breakfast each morning
Beach was nice but it seems like there is a public access to the same beach right next door. It's in between the hotel and restaurant. The restaurant next door was delicious. The bed was extremely uncomfortable
My room was a garden view but it's super loud all night because of the street traffic. Maybe the beach view rooms are quieter. Thank goodness it wasn't too hot. My room had no hot water the second day

Nothing was a problem for him and I’m sure if we had any issues with our stay in Tulum I am guessing he would know the guys to sort it. We are planning our trip for next year and will be staying here again
This was such a laid back and relaxing resort. We had a great time, not a lot of people, and staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
The Villas are amazing right on the beach. The place has a lovely restaurant right in front of the water
We stayed at the Roc, during New Year’s eve, which is super busy and hectic time in Tulum, this hotel is in a great location right on the beach, close enough to the party life and yet you can have your peace and quiet while you’re in the hotel
The day beds were free & easy to come & came with food & drink service! We spend both days just lounging on a day bed, enjoying the beach, the chill music, the food, the drinks, and the pull
We had an amazing time!! The hotel from the personal, decoration, location, and ambiance was excellent! Julio Avila from the Concierge team was about and beyond to made a memorable stay, he helped is with reservation to the beach clubs, restaurants and was always attentive to any request or questions we had, he was extremely professional and helpful

Our entire stay was so serene and relaxing. The beach setting is truly amazing, with much better variety of seating options than any other resort we saw
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sueños Tulum this past February, it truly felt like a healing escape. The property is beautiful, clean, and incredibly calming, with a beach so soft it feels like cotton
We’ve stayed in many five star resorts and hotels around the world, and this is our new favorite experience. The attention to detail and the calming relaxing environment was second to none
The included breakfast was truly wonderful with daily fresh fruit, yogurt/granola, amazing coffee with steamed milk, fresh juices made daily, and your choice of egg dishes to order
The rooms were immaculate and very unique, with different themes and decor. Bedding was truly comfortable and top-notch. The service was very personalized and attentive
Jovanna even arranged my private massage on site on short notice, and a doctor to come visit our friend on site who was feeling under the weather a couple days

The beach area was quiet and not busy at all and was “cleaned” every morning from all the seaweed drifting up on land
Great service & food! I’ve been to several beach clubs in Tulum and in a lot of them, because I don’t look foreigner and because I don’t pay or tip in dollars but pesos, i’ve been discriminated, however, Rosa del Viento welcomes everyone and treats everyone the same
We were not staying in the hotel and just used the beach club. Staff were super friendly and helpful (much more so than many of the other hotels along the hotel zone), great drinks, great beach and great food
the beach absolutely beautiful and you can relax an order from your chair. Many activities to do, the night life is awesome. I like that the hotel is at the end of the strip so no traffic
There are some toys available to use on beach, but not much more in terms of kids friendliness. Free breakfast includes some local fruits, yogurt, granola, some bread and jam and coffee
Their beach is clean, beautiful and private. Their cuisine is excellent and different. Great for families, couples or anyone looking for a calm, quiet resort or just a day at the beach

The service was so so nice and friendly, the lady at the reception was the sweetest person and just felt like home. The room was perfect - big, clean and with a nice decor
The taxi is like to rip people off. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was very clean and spacious. The only thing I didn't like was that they had a physical key. I don't like keys in case I lose them
Spacious second floor new construction. Great location to start for exploring cenotes and ruins.
The hotel was very cute and in a great location - close to the main street but far enough to avoid the crowds and the noise
I don’t know how they can have someone like working in customer service. The night time receptionist is a very nice women very respectful and helpful. The rooms are small and the pool is big enough for 2 people

The parking lot is just opposite the hotel. The room is a 2-minute walk from the beach. The beach is wide and there are few tourists. I saw the most beautiful sunrise
We just had a great stay at Le Zebra! We had been in Holbox on vacation and our flight got canceled due to weather and we couldn’t rebook until 5 days later, so last minute we decided to head to Tulum for a few days
I’ve been looking at the beach for a week and a half, so being in what felt like a treehouse was wonderful. They had a super comfortable bed to lay on at the beach and there were plenty available
We booked the Sea View Ground Floor Suite with Plunge Pool and it was gorgeous
Service was thoughtful and seamless. Check-in was easy, communication was clear, and every night we received pastries and a thermos of tea in different flavors like lemongrass and hibiscus as a surprise treat
The hotel is small (about 49 rooms) so the beach never felt crowded and there was always space to relax without competing for loungers
