I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this time I will make an exception. I have made it my personal mission to warn as many people as possible so they don’t fall into the clutches of this hotel managed by unscrupulous individuals. On December 28th, I visited the beach club with my family. I left my car in the on-site parking lot, which is managed by valet staff. Upon leaving, I found my car had been crashed. I immediately asked to speak with the manager, Mr. Jose Majay. Despite being with a baby and my pregnant wife, they made me wait for 30 minutes only to inform me that he was unavailable and could not speak with me over the phone, promising he would contact me the following day—which never happened. I was forced to send an email, which they replied to 7 days later, stating that after an "exhaustive investigation" (which consisted only of interviewing their own parking staff), they determined they hadn't hit my car and that I "must have crashed it somewhere else." Conveniently, the security cameras installed in the parking lot "were not functioning" to verify that my car entered without damage (it was a Sixt rental in perfect condition). Furthermore, while I was waiting, other hotel employees—whom I will not name—informed me that when damage occurs to vehicles, management forces the valet staff to pay for the repairs out of their own pockets (!!!). After returning the car to Sixt, I was naturally charged a repair fee of USD 180—surprisingly less than the USD 250 I spent during my stay at their beach club. I contacted them again, demanding they cover these costs, which are absurdly low for a company that nets millions. It seems Mr. Jose Majay does not share this view; after several emails clearly written by ChatGPT denying the facts, he agreed to pay only 50% of the repair. I accepted this at the urging of my 7-month pregnant wife, simply to stop ruining our family vacation. After 11 days without receiving the deposit, they informed me I would have to wait an additional 30 days due to "administrative issues." Again, the amount was USD 180!! At that point, I realized I was dealing with dishonest and immoral people who were stalling once again. I decided to file a formal complaint with the Quintana Roo Prosecutor's Office, the Mexican Secretariat of Tourism, and PROFECO (Consumer Protection Agency), where the case is currently moving forward. My claim is not financial; it is a matter of principle. We must not allow ourselves to be abused by people who feel they can scam their clients with impunity while selling "spiritual experiences" or "good vibes." Instead of apologizing and covering the repair costs, Mr. Jose Majay has chosen to gamble the reputation of his employer "DOS CEIBAS POSADA ECOLOGICA S.A. DE C.V. RFC: DCP080130EH9" for a mere USD 180. I warn anyone considering staying here, and especially those planning a wedding or corporate event: these people will not take responsibility for any error or unforeseen event. They are n

I booked 1 night here and thank god it wasnt anymore...i paid $400 for a cabana...it smelled of sewage when we arrived and had a massive tarp over the roof because of leaks..the curtains were ripped and stained and so was the net on the bed...the towels were stained and ripped too...There was no mirror in the bathroom either. they said we had 2 complimentary drinks at the bar...it took 70 mins to get and they wouldnt even put alcohol in them....it was actually daylight when we ordered and dark when we got them...we mentioned the wait 3 times and they didnt care...there was never anybody on the front desk and the car park guys had to call staff to attendto us and when they did, they told us to wait casue they were eating and we never saw them..they didnt even bother...then we had the breakfast (which had no menu so u were given what they wanted) which came with the price of the room which was very good...A fruit plate was given to us amongst it...i get back home and get off the plane and i see on my phone that they wanted a few dollars for the fruit plate...lol...and they would send me a link to pay it...crazy....they had plenty of time to do that stupid request but no time to do anything when i was there...Dont bother with this badly run hotel...waist of money...the best part of the hotel were the 2 car park attendants...

This property is quintessential Tulum—simple, clean, beautiful, and deeply connected to nature. The aesthetic is thoughtfully done, and everything feels calm and intentional. The staff were incredible throughout our stay—kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant deserves special mention: the food was excellent and, honestly, the best we had during our time in Tulum. For context, we spent about $400 total for a week’s worth of lunches and dinners, which felt like great value for the quality. The only real downside is the location. It’s farther from the main Tulum Beach restaurant area, so you’re either looking at a 25-minute walk or renting a bike or scooter to get around. The rooms do not have air conditioning, but with the fan on and once the sun goes down, it was perfectly comfortable. The beach club is beautiful but can get quite busy during the day, so I recommend going early if you want a good spot. Overall, for the price and value, this hotel is an outstanding option. I would 100% return and absolutely recommend it to friends looking for an authentic, serene Tulum experience.

Dirty, cockroaches and much more. Stayed here 2 years ago was excellent. But after this year won’t come back

The property is located right in the heart of Tulum’s vibrant party hub, which is perfect if you’re looking to be in the middle of the action. One downside: the water on the property is salty, and the shower pressure is quite low—just a trickle, really. That’s the only issue I had during my stay.

On the bright side, the staff were fantastic, and the beach access was unbeatable. I had breakfast here on two mornings, and it was absolutely delicious. The chef clearly knows what they’re doing! If you’re staying here, you MUST try their breakfast—it’s a standout.

Be aware that there is no air conditioning and the rooms are extremely hot other than that inconvenience, the facility is great!
