Radisson Blu Leogrand Hotel in Chisinau

Excellent location.
Very nice rooms as well as very kind and helpful staff. We highly recommend their breakfast. It is really very good. Lovely pianist playing for guests. I enjoyed his songs very much!

1. Location - 4.6 stars
Right in the center, next to the Triumphal Arch. Very convenient for walking around the city.

2. Interior - 4.5 stars
Old-fashioned style, trying to look premium. All possible amenities already inside the room. Big bed, hallway, and large bathroom.

3. Room - 4 stars
It was cold inside. Toilet flush did not work well.

4. Service - 4.7 stars
Very good, polite, and fast. Staff solve all questions quickly.

5. Food (Breakfast) - 4.6 stars
Sparkling wine, red fish, honeycombs, big choice of sausages and cheeses.

Excellent hotel. Polite, professional service. We accidentally forgot our wallet in the cafe. The staff handed it over to reception. Everything was returned safe and sound. The standard of the hotel speaks for itself. Thanks to the staff for their commitment!!!

A good hotel with friendly staff. Clean and cozy. Check-in was quick. The rooms are cozy and large. The bed is large, but the pillows aren't comfortable. They cleaned it every day. We had a funny experience: we needed to go to a restaurant. It's only 2.5 km away. We asked reception to order a taxi. They immediately started looking for a driver and offered to take us for 20 euros. We declined and walked the 20 minutes for free. So, be careful.

We stayed at Radisson Leogrand for 4 nights while exploring Chisinau and some of the surrounding areas. The staff at the hotel were very thoughtful and accommodating to every need. Prior to arrival the concierge service was able to arrange a pick up at the airport. Upon arrival we met Anna and Nicoleta at the reception who were quick to arrange our room and answer the many questions we had about the hotel and the area. Shortly after settling in our very spacious and comfortable room, Anna called to ensure we were happy with everything in the room. Anna and Nicoleta even checked in daily as we passed through the lobby. The onsite restaurant called New York also had great food and drinks and staff were very friendly and attentive especially Sudman who worked the bar. Zaxi is a restaurant and lounge on the roof top which is high end. My only criticism there is that there is a lot of cigarette smoke. The quality of food in restaurants and room service was healthy and delicious. The location is perfect for walking to all of the sights around the city. There are also several dining options and even a supermarket near by. Overall a nice high end hotel with friendly and attentive staff. When in Chisinau, I'd highly consider this hotel.

At the check in for 1.5 hours at 01.30am because the hotel did not have my reservation in the system despite booking over 6 hours earlier. Couldn’t find me under name confirmation number….. nothing!
Chatting for ages with an agent over the app also got no where as hotel couldn’t call the hot line number and the agent couldn’t reach the hotel. I am now waiting for this to be resolved by the special team.
Very unpleasant experience after a long day.

The Radisson Blu in Chișinău is, without question, the best hotel in Moldova. I stay here regularly when visiting the country, and each time I am reminded why it is my top choice. The location is perfect, the amenities are first-class, and the food is consistently excellent.
