Conte Hotel & Restaurant in Perast

An excellent, upscale restaurant where attention to detail is immediately noticeable. Your table is properly prepared specifically for you, everything is clean and well presented, and the service is handled by professional and attentive waiters.

The monkfish medallions were a new experience for me, as it was my first time trying monkfish. I wouldn’t say the flavor itself was particularly impressive, but the presentation was excellent and the dish was beautifully served.

We also ordered grilled sea bream. It was good, although essentially a fairly standard grilled white fish without anything particularly remarkable about it. The Caesar salad was also quite traditional, although unfortunately the chicken in it was cold.

The beef soup was decent, and we also tried a traditional local pie, which I found a little too dry for my taste.

The white wines, on the other hand, were very good and enjoyable.

Overall, this is a very good restaurant with professional service, high-quality food, and excellent presentation. Not every dish was memorable in terms of flavor, but the overall experience and level of service were definitely impressive.

We had a wonderful meal at the Conte restaurant with a nice helpful server who spoke fluent English and helped us decide what to order.

I loved my Penne "Soprano" which was penned pasta with tender beef and mushrooms. Very delicious and very filling.

My husband at the sea bass with potatoes and swiss chard which he always loves no matter where he orders it.

The bread and olive tapenade which is served with a meal is delicious.

Stayed here for two nights and it was absolutely worth it. As the village is completely car-free, you can’t access the hotel by car. Make sure to contact the hotel in advance via WhatsApp to let them know your arrival time, so they can pick you up with their golf cart. This is especially convenient if you’re travelling with luggage.

The staff are incredibly friendly and will gladly help carry your luggage to your room while explaining everything in detail.

The hotel consists of two buildings: the main building, which houses the reception and restaurant, and a second building with the swimming pool. We recommend requesting a room in the building with the pool. On hot days, it’s definitely worth it.

The restaurant serves amazing food – everything is fresh and there is always a table available for hotel guests. The service is good, although it could be more organised at times, as it occasionally feels a little chaotic. While the hotel staff were warm and welcoming, the service in the restaurant felt a bit more distant and less personal. That said, the food more than makes up for it.

This was by far one of the best restaurants of our trip in Montenegro. Make sure to make a reservation so that you can get a waterfront seat, that was also a highlight! It’s a beautiful atmosphere and delicious seafood. We tried the Cuttlefish Risotto and the Prawn Stuffed Gnocchi and were not disappointed! Also make sure to get the Traditional Perast cake it’s a must! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was as well. We loved our waitress! 10/10 recommend!

The room facilities were quite basic, but the location was great! The breakfast restaurant overlooking the sea was beautiful. The public areas had beach chairs and a swimming pool, and the hotel service was good too. If you're coming to Perast, I'd still highly recommend this hotel.

We booked a deluxe apartment at the Jindi Hotel. Photos 5-6 show a room with a terrace on the booking platform. The view from the terrace was stunning, whether it was sunset or sunrise. However, the room the hotel provided didn't match the room we were given! One of the rooms actually had a door, while the other, with the bed in the living room, had no door! We arrived at the hotel just before sunset in the afternoon, but because the room we were given didn't match, they told us they were fully booked. They told us to contact the booking platform. We'd booked it three months in advance, and in the end, they just told us to understand?! It was a very unpleasant experience!

The stay experience was good and the bedding was very comfortable
