Boutique Hotel La Roche is a calm and elegant place to stay, set in a beautiful spot right on the water. The view from the room felt peaceful at every hour and quickly became one of the things we enjoyed most.
Joana at the front desk welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, and her attentiveness made everything feel effortless. The breakfast served à la carte was excellent each morning, prepared with care and presented in a way that made the start of the day feel unhurried and pleasant.
The hotel is only a short walk from Porto Montenegro, yet it remains quiet and relaxed, which allowed us to unwind fully. With its lovely setting, thoughtful service and restful atmosphere, our stay here has been genuinely memorable.
We would happily return.

Boutique La Roche is the best Hotel that i have ever visited. I have visited thousands of international Hotels all over the world, and i can confidently say that La Roche is the best in all aspects. They just make the experience perfect for you. A special thanks goes to Receptionist Jovana, she just made iur stay exceptional. She was very helpful, always smiling, she even carried our bags. I wish that La Roche management rewards here for the great efforts she is putting

Everything about this hotel was just perfect.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything. They even upgraded our room )) maybe for my birthday, or simply because they could 😄 Either way, it was such a nice touch!
The rooms were fresh, spacious, and spotless, with cleaning done super carefully and comfortably.
Breakfast à la carte was delicious. beautifully served and full of flavor.
The hotel itself is stunning, located right in the heart of Porto, with everything within walking distance.
We also loved the spa and hammam . very relaxing and well-maintained.
All the amenities were provided . razors, shampoos, creams, lotions, everything you could possibly need.
Overall, an amazing experience. truly worth every penny! 💫

Excellent hotel, great location just a short walk from the main area, yet far enough to be a peaceful location. Breakfast was magnificent but didn’t dine here on an evening, it seemed very quiet, Hotel overall was very clean, good facilities with some lovely touches.
However, one of these lovely touches was a beautifully presented box of chocolates on arrival. I popped back to the room during breakfast one day to pick up a cardigan and found the housekeeping staff eating the box of chocolates, they weren’t replaced. That left a sour taste and doubt around trustworthiness. Obviously valuables were kept in the safe but I had a rethink and put nicer items of clothing back into a locked suitcase. A shame really, as everything and everyone else was faultless.

The location of La Roche Hotel is simply stunning. Overlooking the bay and just minutes from Port Montenegro, it’s perfectly situated for those looking to enjoy shopping, great restaurants, and beautiful scenery.
At first glance, the hotel appears to be a high-end boutique stay, but unfortunately, it quickly becomes apparent that it’s not being maintained to the standard its price tag suggests. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite costing £600 per night, so naturally, we expected 5-star quality across the board.
The outdoor beach/bar area is well-placed and has so much potential, but the decking is worn and in need of replacement. The changing rooms were all locked, and the bar was closed, which was disappointing given the warm weather and the setting.
Upstairs, the rooftop pool offers absolutely stunning views, a real highlight but again, the surrounding decking is damaged, with some parts even falling apart. The rooftop bar was also closed, which added to the feeling that the hotel has been left to decline.
Inside our suite, the layout and space should have been impressive, but there were several maintenance issues. Light switches were either damaged or had fallen loose, and there was visible mould behind areas of the wallpaper – a serious concern for longer stays.
We didn’t raise a complaint, as we were only staying for one night, but had it been a longer visit, we absolutely would have. It’s a real shame because the this hotel could be excellent. It just needs proper care, maintenance, and attention to detail to justify its luxury price tag.
With some investment and upkeep, La Roche could be a truly outstanding hotel. For now, it falls short of expectations.

We stayed 5 nights at Hotel La Roche and it was genuinely one of the best trips of my life. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — every single staff member we interacted with was warm and went above and beyond. I’ve never experienced hospitality like it, and the people truly made this trip so special.
Our room was beautiful: huge, and spotlessly maintained. The beach area was a dream — well-kept, and with the same impeccable service from the bar and wait staff. Special mention to the gorgeous Espresso Martinis!
Breakfast was another highlight, everything was cooked fresh. The lunch menu was also excellent — we especially loved the shrimp Caesar and Thai steak salads.
Montenegro itself completely stole our hearts. Tivat and the surrounding area were stunningly clean and easy to explore. We didn’t want to leave. Hotel La Roche gave us memories we’ll treasure for life — can’t wait to come back.

Stayed for 1 night off season in February. Great location, short walk to marina, bars and restaurants. Friendly welcome on check-in. Room we were given first (103), was a good size and had lovely views, however there was a horrible smell of sewerage throughout. Stain on ceiling near air conditioning unit which looked like there had been a leak in the past. Asked in reception to move as we couldn’t deal with the smell and was given a 2 bedroom apartment (101). This room was great, and smelt fine. Very comfortable stay and lovely breakfast. Didn’t use spa. Pool was closed but wouldn’t have been able to use it due to season and weather but looked like it would be lovely in summer.
