We looked for breakfast and looked around the service area. The waiter there starting to watch every move we made. Screaming at us " PRIVATE! PRIVATE! Next time have a sign so people don't walk accidentally to your private restaurant!

I had dinner here a few nights ago, and it was definitely a wonderful experience. The place has a more refined vibe — calm lighting, tasteful decor, and just a really nice atmosphere overall. It feels like a very special place, but not in a stiff or uncomfortable way. The service was great — professional but still friendly, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The meal i ate was probably one of the best I've ever tried. You can tell they pay attention to detail, both in how the food is prepared and how it's presented. Everything we tried i worth every penny and i really recommend this place to anyone who's in the near by area.

While vacationing in Rose, we wanted to experience the local cuisine, including the cuisine of the charmingly located Forte Rose Hotel. We attempted this twice, and each time we were asked to leave the restaurant. Despite the restaurant being empty and only one table occupied by guests, we were told we couldn't order food because we weren't hotel guests. Interestingly, two saleswomen from a local supermarket, also not hotel guests, were sitting at one occupied table. The restaurant serves seafood and fish displayed in display cases on ice. I wonder what happens to them when the hotel is almost empty and no one uses the restaurant.

We've never encountered such an approach anywhere else, where a hotel restaurant is uninterested in outside customers.

Perhaps the hotel holds many other secrets that we, fortunately, haven't been exposed to.

At Rose, we highly recommend the Adriatic restaurant, with its charming surroundings and delicious food.

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch after spending a few hours at Forte Rose Beach first. The restaurant has a picturesque location. We were welcomed in a friendly and professional manner and were quickly given a table for four. Sitting in the shade under the large tree, admiring the view while waiting for our food, was something truly special.

The prices at this restaurant are higher than average. However, in return, you get friendlier and better service than elsewhere. The food matches the price and does not disappoint in any way. The dishes were well thought out and exceptionally well executed.

It was an absolute pleasure to have lunch here, and I would say it was the best restaurant experience we had during our week in Montenegro. Highly recommended!

Excellent breakfast. Very fresh and delicious with many choices. Milo’s, our server, was fantastic. He was friendly, very accommodating and provided excellent service with a smile!

We recently visited Forte Rose just to explore the place and have lunch—and it turned out to be such a memorable experience! The location is stunning, full of charm and history, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and elegant.

We were warmly welcomed by Bojan, who truly made our visit special. He took the time to show us around, shared fascinating stories about the history of the place, and made us feel like valued guests from the moment we arrived. His kindness, friendliness, and professionalism were exceptional.

Thanks to Bojan and the wonderful experience we had, we’ve already decided that we’ll be staying at Forte Rose during our next visit to Montenegro. Highly recommended!

Terrible place! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, the music on the beach gets louder and more terrible every hour! The owners need to understand that it doesn't bring in much money, because 5 people will get drunk and maybe order two drinks, while the rest will leave. People come to Rose for the beautiful water and picturesque seaside town to enjoy.

Forte Rose is a beautifully decorated fortress, with beautiful beaches and views!
The service, the behavior of individual employees, the attitude towards guests... have no common ground with the tourist offer itself.
Would I repeat my vacation in the same place, no, nor would I recommend it to anyone!

Loved the hotel Forte Rose. Beautifully renovated, and located in the picturesque stone Village of Rose. The views across the bay over to Herceg Novi are spectacular. We enjoyed the fine dining at the restaurant, the Sunset views and the early morning swims. The staff was wonderfully kind and efficient.

We visited yesterday,nice location,lovely ambience and very professional service.If you coming with a boat their staff will give you a hand docking.

Food is average at best.If you eat seafood and fish regularly you will know what I'm talking about.Main courses are not too expensive, but 50 euro per bottle of Croatian or Serbian Vine is just a daylight robbery.Good for one visit.
