Nice riad in the medina of Fès. The riad has a very small pool which you cannot really call a pool, but there is one. The hosts are really nice and helped us with the booking of our tour through Morocco.
Our room was very spacious, the breakfast was good. In Morroco you always have the same basic breakfast, don't expect fruit.

The bathroom was quite old and needs some restoration. The towels were very old.

Very friendly welcome and nice mint tea. However it is absolutely freezing in January. The rooms are very basic, blankets not duvets. The door handle for the bathroom was hanging off... wifi also doesnt reach the rooms. Tagine was the best I'd had in Morocco but was rather overpriced for the area. One tagine cost as much as a two course meal with drinks just up the road!

Overall, very pleasant people but very basic.

Super easy to find from the Blue Gate, and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. A spectacular traditional Riad with high ceilings, and well appointed.

Quiet and Peaceful
Our stay was very nice and enjoyable. Mounaim greeted us as we entered. He was very nice, courteous, and made us feel welcomed. He had a sit down and we had a lovely tea before we headed up to our room. The room we booked was very spacious. The Riad was beautiful and decorated. Of course, with any older structure, there are some things that you have to work around. It’s an experience. We enjoyed it, but bougie people might not. But its not the end of the world. The Riad is in a very quiet, but strategic area. We very much enjoyed ourselves.

Take a look at the attached pictures. Unfortunately, the only positive about this hotel is the location. We booked 7 rooms so this wasn't one unfortunate case. All the rooms and bathrooms were dirty, cockroaches in every bath, towels and sheets with rust and marks. There's also a bad smell in the whole place, probably from the drainage and the breakfast was the minimum Moroccan plus eggs. When we complained, they told us they would clean the next day but they actually just tidied up the place. I even found the shampoo bag where I've left it in the morning. The pool is dirty and small, the rooftop has some things but it's not pretty. The owner doesn't live there but doesn't care much either. He tried to excuse everything as normal in Morocco but this wasn't the first time we visited the country. At first he had manners and then got furious and even bullied us. We arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening and one of us was sick and so we stayed. Otherwise we would have left immediately. Anyway, this place ruined the last part of our beautiful vacation and is not recommended.

The hotel was unacceptable. Dirty towels, dirty pillows, dirty room spaces, and rude staff. What they show in the photos is a thousand times worse and completely run-down. They don't believe in maintenance at all. The breakfast was below average, and the hospitality was terrible. Hotels like this exist just to take advantage of tourists. Stay away.

The food is good if not great, but it is reasonably priced. Best of all though, and the reason for coming, is the view. There are two floors of seating with views over the Blue Gate, the medina, and surrounding areas. It's incredible at any time and well worth a visit.

Go here for the view and simply accept the food. The food is not great, nor is it bad. Reasonably priced. The view is great! Entrance is in a little alley and you have to walk the stairs to the top to reach the restaurant.

AVOID! We arrived late at night and the owner was polite enough to prepare us a meal. We ordered a bottle of water, 1 mint tea and a small vegetable tagine - which was literally the smallest tagine we got served in the whole Marocco. We were charged 150 Dirhams (it was not a menu)!! Total scam. We tried to lower the price but the owner got angry with us so we paid and left quickly. You can find very good full menus for 70Dirh in any restaurant near the blue Gate. Avoid, it's not worth it!

This is one of the best authentic restaurants we have been in Morocco! Food is delicious and super fresh, great value for money and super friendly stuff. They have a lovely terrace and during lunch it usually quite quite here so you can have a relaxing experience. Our local friends recommended this place and we advise everyone to try!

Don't go there!!

Small and good located restaurant which gave us a really bad experience on our trip through this lovely country.

The staff is friendly but the portions are very small and the taste is nothing special.
Every menu is 150DH, which is a lot for this kind of restaurants in Marokko but the food wasn't worth it at all. It seemed to us as if the meals were not freshly prepared but heated up.

I wouldn't recommend this place.
