Marrakech, 7 Derb Assabane Riad Laarouss,Derb Assabane (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We had the pleasure of staying here for a night with our two children on our visit to Marrakech. The room was beautifully decorated and had the ideal small area sectioned off for the children, the pool was heated which for them was a bonus! Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, shame we could only get one night! Would definitely recommend.
Simply extraordinary! Quiet riad 200 m from the hustle and bustle of the souks. Remarkable staff, attentive, responsive ... not knowing what to do to make our stay unforgettable (all without exception) We had dinner there one evening: we have never eaten such delicious couscous! (Thank you Aïcha) Varied breakfast every morning on par with the rest! I don't want to forget the decor: superb, very tasteful...
A little oasis of tranquility in the medina. Everything was perfect: superb decoration, pleasant welcome, copious breakfast and above all a top staff. Special mention for Zakaria, Saïd and Mohammed who were adorable with our son
The second time and still a feeling of "at home". It is magnificent, peaceful, authentic and contemporary at the same time. The location, the architecture, the decor, the patios, the rooftop, the rooms, the service, the breakfast... Everything is superb. Thank you Said and Mohamed for your welcome.
Myself & family had a great stay in Dar Titrit , the staff were really friendly & looked after us. The breakfast up on the roof terrace is a treat & the room was really nice. There’s also 2 heated pools, one in the inner courtyard & another up on the roof terrace. Great for chilling after a day out in the souks also a lovely little bar were the two resident cats hang out.
Very beautiful Riad, tastefully decorated. Very well located and comfortable The Riad is very quiet, even if it is located in the medina We had a very pleasant stay Best regards Lucie & Florent

Marrakech, Rue Moulay Ismail (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I visited only to exchange money, as it is widely recommended as having the best rates in the city. However, upon comparing, the rates seemed quite similar to other nearby spots. There is usually a long line and you have to be patient. It's a reliable place to exchange currency, but don't expect a huge difference compared to other official offices
Never stayed here, but we review as we have used their facilities. There is a toilet facility on the third floor, clean and well kept, on the same floor they have restaurant. And the down floor they exchange which has the best price, check for our review about the exchange. Staff and people seem friendly.
We only know this as a pickup point for tours. However, it doesn't open for food until at least 9am. There is plenty of room outside to gather in your groups, and it can get quite busy, whilst others do the same. It is right on the main market square.
This location offers very fair value for exchange. They don’t even check passport. We did not wait for too long time to get money. If you visit Marrakech and need some local currency, I will recommend this place to you.
This was the hotel where we stayed for the whole week of our trip. Although our room was just right size with low ceiling but we had a balcony added to our room with a really lovely view outside. The whole staff from reception to kitchen and laundry staff are really great, very polite and helpful. Our little one was sick when we arrived. Next day a very nice lady who was restaurant incharge recommended...
plus : the location near the medina and main street, there is money changer with good rate at the hotel loby. What I like most is the breakfast is a buffet moroccan breakfast cost 49 MAD/ 5 Euro only which is good. Minus : please educate the old man staff about how to treat customer. This is hospitality industry. at least please try to smile to customer. I check in at the middle of night and almost...

Marrakech, 11 Derb Chtouka Berrima (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The Riad was in a great location, the staff were kind and breakfast was nice (pancakes and jams with coffee). But the Riad itself was very tired. There was no pool as advertised (or spa), the loungers and communal areas were dated and the ‘family suite’ had tiles missing in the bathroom and again seemed very dated.
Overall very good experience, Riad is nicely maintained and the staff is kind.
Check-in was a bit slow and the rooms are smaller than they appear (no separate bath/toilet in our room). Nonetheless, the rooms were clean. The hotel is located in an alley/street that cars can't access so you have to walk about a block plus with your bags; however it is near a large square and a number of restaurants.
They are charging tourists tax in (cash) dirham… when its included in ******* charges.
Shower head was broken until the last day before i left.
Very different from all the places ive stayed at. There is a musty smell where we had our massage and at around the dining area. It is kind of difficult to find the place.

Houcine and Ismail are just as friendly as the other reviewers say! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, helped us with questions, connected us to an inexpensive rental car company and really went above and beyond. Location is amazing for accessing the heart of Marrakech, though no taxi gets you right to the door. The guys can arrange an airport pickup, which is a bit more pricey than...

Very warm welcome, friendly staff, great breakfasts, very clean riad
A small riad located centrally but slightly away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet surroundings, a handful of well-maintained and clean rooms (the doubles are small). The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This was an exceptional experience. The hotel is well located and is very clean, pretty, and calm. Mourad was wonderfully accomodating and understanding. We messed up our checkout and delayed it significantly and he kindly waived the late fee and was super understanding. It was really kind and generous and made us feel really taken care of. Great experience and would totally be back again.

Beautiful clean room, good hot shower, and a wonderful breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
The riad is wonderful and the staff is amazing. Mourad was incredibly kind and helpful, definitely made the stay special.
I'm very happy I stayed here. It was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, and the people were incredibly friendly. The location is good as well as you're in the heart of the Medina. I strongly recommend choosing this riad for your stay in Marrakech.
The hotel had a good location—quiet and walkable, which I appreciated. The staff were kind, and the room was cute, though nothing particularly special. It’s a very old riad, with a quaint and peaceful atmosphere. There’s definitely some room for improvement. A fresh coat of paint and a few cheerful touches—like brighter décor, some flowers, a basket of fruit, or even a few cookies—could really elevate...

A comfortable, clean, and cute place to stay in the center of Marrakech. The woman who owns/runs the riad is kind and accommodating. The home feels warm and inviting! The riad has a rooftop patio to enjoy the sunshine where she serves breakfast in the morning.
Great small family owned riad in central Marrakech. The lady and her daughters (I believe)who owns the riad is really friendly . The rooms are cosy and spacious. The breakfast was homemade and delicious. The riad is located 20 mins walk to jamaa el-fnaa
The room was lovely, bathroom very spacious. Simple breakfast was included on the terrace. Staff is great. Everything went well Disliked · Little difficult to find on your own. Call the staff for help, they are great.
Stayed for our last night in Marrakesh. The photos in the website certainly made the riad look better than it was. The property was clean and the staff helpful and friendly, however the riad was fairly basic. We as a family rented two rooms. In ours, the pillows were rock hard, and one of the sheets was ripped. In the second room, again rock hard pillows, and one of the beds, with a duvet cover but...
Great small family owned riad in central Marrakech. The lady who owns the riad is really friendly and gave us a lot of helpful tips on how to discover Marrakech at the best. The rooms are cosy and spacious, we loved the custom bathroom, it looked really traditional. The included breakfast was homemade and delicious! We definitely recommend to go there!
Nadia made us feel very much at home, and gave us some tips for getting around. The place has a relaxing rooftop terrace and is close to the souk.

Marrakech, Hammam Kasbah (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We stayed at Rêves d’Amélie Riad for 4 nights, and overall it was a pretty chill and pleasant stay. The rooms aren’t very big, and one thing to note is that the bathroom doesn’t have full walls from floor to ceiling — so if you’re a bit shy, it might feel awkward since you can literally hear the other person breathing while they’re in the toilet 😅. Check-in was smooth and check-out even easier. The...
Really excellent riad overall. Location is one of the best parts — it's right outside the medina, so it's possible to get dropped off directly outside (or it's a 10 min walk from the airport bus). But it's also comfortable, Meryam & Ismael are helpful, and breakfast is great. Only real downside is that there's very little noise isolation, so you'll hear basically everything happening in the building...
It was my first time in Morocco and this riad made my experience memorable. Location is perfect, located in Kasaba only 14min walk to Jamal fna. Decor was beautiful, clean and maintained to a very high standard. Breakfast on the rooftop was homemade by the ladies who manage the riad and was really nice. Can’t fault anything. Will definitely be coming back again.
If you are going to Marrakesh and want a respite from the bustling streets, I CANNOT recommend this place more highly. It is an oasis of peace and calm — Fatima and the team are an absolute joy. They are friendly, totally keen to meet your needs and make you happy. The entire Riad is gorgeous. Don't question your choice to book here.
Wonderful Riad in probably the nicest, quietest part of Marrakech. The rooms were excellent and it was brilliant to go back somewhere calm and quiet in this otherwise hectic city! Rashid was also a great host, and the breakfasts on the roof terrace in the sunshine were incredible.
We (4 of us) just stayed 5 nights in this wonderful Riad during the Christmas period. Never a dull moment…….it is so perfect and represents an authentic Riad we all look for in Marrakesh. The rooms are so beautifully decorated with simple muted colours. The showers always have hot water with great pressure. The beds are big and very comfortable. A hairdryer is provided. The rooms are cleaned daily...

Convenient for a short term stay in the Medina.
Marrakech, a very different place to travel. I was warmly picked up by Redouane and he took me to his riad. The location was perfect and the riad was very quiet and peaceful. Redouane is very nice , polite and an excellent host. I highly recommend Dar Nabila for staying. Thank you and I hope to be back again.
The riad itself is okay — old, authentic style! Redouane, the owner, is a very kind young man and extremely helpful with anything you need. It was a pleasure to have such a host. I’m absolutely sure that, in time, he will do everything possible to renovate the riad and blend modern elements with that traditional style. Overall, we felt very good and we liked everything. We will come back!
Our room was very comfortable. Cool air, comfortable beds. It was chaotic the first day finding our way, but by the next day the walk through the Medina felt less intimidating. I would refer friends to stay here.
I already miss Morocco I already miss Dar Nabila Amazing stay in this Riad Redouane and Layla the best ever Thank you for everything you have done for me So much heart in this Riad ❤️ 🙏🏽 so grateful Loredana
Family-run riad. The guy is really kind and helpful, and the riad is welcoming. The location is halfway between the main square and the Jardin de Majorelle, as well as the most beautiful part of the souks.

Great experience staying here. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Rooms cleaned every day. Nice and clean communal areas with clean pool. Rooms nice and spacious and cosy. Close to shops and main square were souks are. Would highly recommend. Will he visiting again.
Wow, wonderful experience great staff. Even when I got lost they sent someone, Mustafa, to come and find me. Food was excellent. Sylvie the owner was warm kind and generous. I can’t wait to return.
I didn't enjoy my stay at the riad aliya hotel, there is no entertainment but overall i had a good experience. Nice private area. You have to pre order food if you want to eat. You are not allowed to buy food and drink from outside and bring to the hotel. We got charged £3 euro per head for ordering food. Information on their website about amenities states TV. There is no TV in the rooms, no TV...
A nice little riad in the heart of the Kasbah - 8 rooms, l believe. Worked well for us (4 adults, 4 teenagers, and 2 children) as we had 6 of the rooms. Simon and Saida, both staff, were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great place as a base to explore the city and beyond. Negatives (for me): 1. I would have liked a TV in the room, but that's just me! 2. Food and drink from outside is forbidden...
We had a delightful stay at this peaceful Riad in Kasbah. The atmosphere was serene, and the setting truly charming. The staff were warm and welcoming—especially the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delectable, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing and authentic stay.
Just returned from a lovely visit to Riad Aliya. The riad was amazing and very quaint and Peaceful. Set in the Kaabah just a few minutes walk from the main road 10 min walk to the main square. The check-in process was good for customer service, but my room experience was terrible. I booked a superior suite, but I ended up with a regular room. The next day, when I asked to switch to my reserved room, I was told that...
Very nice, clean and peaceful Riad. The room was very spacious. It had air conditioning in it which helped to cool the room when it was warm. The continental breakfast was nice also. The hosts were very professional and polite during our stay. They let us leave our luggage there on our last day when our flight was at 10pm. The shuttle service they arranged was on time and very professional.
Loved this place , a little harbour of peace in a busy Medina... Mohamed who looks after the riad was so nice and made sure everything was ok for me...My room was fantastic, sherazad....the breakfast was great as well, loved the homemade cakes...I was a bit anxious before going as alone but this place made me totally relaxed , I come back 1 day, surely
My wife and I visited Marrakesh for the first time and wanted to capture the authentic feel of a traditional riad (as opposed to the hotel life we’re accustomed to). The Riad is tucked away but its an absolute gem of a find. The hotel is lovely and clean, and what was expected. The bathroom was tiny though but for a short break away was absolutely fine. This was a real gem! You will feel like family here! The attention to detail is amazing and everything is geared towards hospitality! Will definitely stay here next time I visit.
Amazing riad! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They spoke fluent English, they welcomed us with tips for Marrakech and mint tea with pastries. When we left, they kept our luggage until the time for our flight. The room and the whole riad were so beautiful and clean. Also, the rooftop was amazing!
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Upon entry at Riad Losra, we were greeted with spectacular hospitality and treated amazingly by the staff in particular Ali. The room was beautiful and clean. We were also served breakfast and as much tea “whiskey” as we could drink which were both lovely.
Highly recommended! Staff is very nice, Good location, neat and delicious breakfast.
Amazing experience in a truly peaceful paradise. Hosts went above and beyond to assure our stay was amazing especially staying up due to our flight arriving late. Upon check in we were brought to out room, which was extremely clean and quiet. Our included breakfasts were tasty and fresh. Staff continued to go above for the duration of our stay. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Can't fault this one at all. Staff were excellent, printed our boarding passes for going home, brought tea and biscuits to our room on first night and were there if you needed any help with directions, etc. Liked to show interest in where you had been as well. The rooftop is excellent as well as the rooms. Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time at the hotel. This is the second time I’ve stayed in the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and enough
The hotel is very good: service, food, cleanliness, staff... The only drawback is the noise at night because there are bars downstairs. They should have windows that block out the noise.
Lovely hotel, helpful staff who speak English. Breakfast good enough. Beds comfy. Noisy street, but fine with windows shut and aircon on. Pool area in the sun between 12 and 2 (ish). Only a handful of sun loungers. Staff happy to open a bottle of wine for us to drink in our room, and they gave us 2 wine glasses. 30 minute walk to Medina. Lots of shops and restaurants close to hotel.
