We were after a hotel that had a large pool area to relax after sight seeing in February, and this 100% fitted the bill. The pool area is lovely and there was always a sun bed available with great pool tunes being played (only v.small issue was running out of pool towels but that is a bonus in a hotel). Our room was large and airy and cleaned well and there was a separate toilet and shower. We had three...
The staff are kind and helpful, but it's a shame we had to insist on getting an iron, which only arrived after 3 days! The hotel is well-located, and breakfast was decent.
Very nice hotel, well-located, close to all the shops and restaurants.
A well maintained hotel with responsive staff. Most amenities are not provided automatically but can be requested.
Great location, friendly staff, and the breakfast wasn't too bad.
We absolutely loved the hotel and the excellent service. We'll definitely be back.

Overall on par for leisure traveler but no surprising with their hospitality. However the breakfast is outstanding.
The location was 15 minutes walk from Marrakesh station, and 10 minutes drive from most locations like the market (medina), the food was amazing, the staff were also nice, with good tea being served at the reception
hotel is nice situation and the breakfast os also okay good !
It’s a beautiful designed hotel, well located in a nice area with shops and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and clean. Friendly staff, great swimming pools and beautiful gardens.
Only con was check in. When a arrived in my jogging outfit and tired, no one of the staff offered to help me with my luggage. I guess because I wasn’t looking fancy, but that shouldn’t matter since I’m still a customer...

The hotel is very nice. It was all inclusive. I highly recommend everyone to go with their family because they got everything inside. You don’t even need to go out.
First time at this resort. Couple traveled for quick weekend getaway. Enjoyed all inclusive options and adult pool. Would visit again.
Booked family room, kids loved it, had plenty of entertainment for children and adults, heated pool, water park was amazing
Great hotel and great service aqua park amazing children loved it
Amazing hotel, brilliant staff who can't do enough for you.
Food amazing !!!!! So much choice ..Rooms faultless..

Be careful not to be ripped off.

Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking.
This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience.
From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah...
We liked the Savoy Le Grand Hotel. However, there is building work going on, and the noise levels in the reception area are very high. The staff are courteous and polite. As it is a large hotel, the overall service and customer care can sometimes fall short.
A special thanks should be given to the staff at the Moroccan restaurant, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. The bar...
I absolutely loved this hotel. The lobby had fresh flowers, and the scent was amazing. The pristine white linens, the room size, and the balcony furniture were all fantastic 🤩. The breakfast perfectly suited my taste. There's some construction happening, as they're adding more floors to the main building, but it didn't affect our stay at all since our room overlooked the smaller pool. All our requests...
Fantastic hotel, great staff. Lovely place to stay, very attentive we couldn’t ask for anything better.
That was my garden view I booked, is that even a garden??. Didn’t have any slippers in my room & to have a robe it is a 1,000 MAD deposit? in all my travelling that is on unheard off to me. Should have stated that on there amenities. I’ve stayed at multiple 5 start hotels this was unheard of to me. The staff are a little cold not so friendly. We had to call daily to ask for our amenities. Missing bedroom slippers when we arrived. There is no bathrobe in the Hotel. There was at least 1 missing amenities each day and we have to call to ask for it.

The hotel wasn't too bad but no lron the room was clean .the food just average. Same food everyday pool to swim water very cold .the staff are very helpful. There is language barrier. No English speaking .some can speak English but they don't understand
The hotel's location was excellent, and the staff provided outstanding service. However, the facilities at the hotel require significant improvements. The entire establishment is in dire need of an upgrade, as everything is becoming outdated. The furniture needs to be replaced, the walls need a fresh coat of paint, and the signs and notice boards need fixing. Additionally, the toilets need upgrading...

Very bad location , they charge you 200 dirhams per vehicle . It’s a scam , their shuttle is **** , have to book prior , better to stay in city , we faced so much trouble in midnight to go to pubs with no taxis available
Avoid if you want pubbing
Also front office billing system is fishy , they tried to charge more .
Great location but rooms with bad smell.
The first room received was with a tobacco smell so we asked another one. One of the employee was laughing like it is not so important and blocking but for a non smoker it is really inappropriate.
The second room had a smell of sewage. Very bad. So when asking for a solution we have changed to a 3rd room. Not easy at all and no compensation.
We had a wonderful stay at Barcelo. The staff are friendly and keep the hotel clean, despite a few guests (of French origin) throwing their bottles near the pool. We will gladly return next year.
Beautiful hotel, walk to the room was a little far. Food and service was lovely. Especially Salma. Shame my hotel phone wasn’t working which was an inconvenience
Everything went very well. The stay was certainly short but we will return soon.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Morocco. It’s conveniently located not too far from the airport, and while you do need taxis to get into town, they’re very affordable and easy to find. The hotel itself is quite large, so it took us a day or two to find our way around, but once we did, we really enjoyed it. Our room was very spacious, as was the bathroom, and although it was fairly basic, it was...
Great experience. Staff really friendly and helpful. Lots of activities to do each day. Special shoutout to Eli for always being enthusiastic each day and encouraging guests to participate. Great experience.
I need to be honest and say that after I booked this hotel, I seen by mistake the amount of bad reviews and that overall got 3 stars due to the bad reviews out here. I got a bit concerned as I don’t go for top of hotels but don’t go for low ones. So I like to believe that 4 star, would be a decent clean hotel and no high expectations. For first time I was so scared, that I was considering switching...
We spent six fabulous days at the hotel / great room and all restaurant staff were great - the animation team and in particular Ali and Bigani who were so enthusiastic and got us playing all sorts of things - archery and darts to name a couple - we can’t wait to come back - although don’t think we want to ever see another aubergine!! The chefs are very fond of them
I like the food, the cleanliness and the attentiveness. The entertainment is very good, especially the personalities of the people who work there, very friendly and welcoming. Without a doubt, I will return.
Very good hotel with quiet swimming pool and swimming pool atmosphere.
Room with pool view ok, the people at the hotel are excellent, attentive when there is a problem.
Satisfied overall despite the negative reviews that can be found on the site. If you are looking for calm, a swimming pool and pleasant staff, don't hesitate!

Loved this place so much we're going back in September
Very nice stay. 4.5 stars. Only .5 off was that phone in one of our two rooms stopped working 2 days in and was never fixed. Not a biggy but still a bit of a concern in case of emergency or other needs. Luckily we had a second room with a phone that worked. Very kind and friendly staff. And Xmas Eve dinner at the buffet was amazingly insane. So much good food and merriment. Note that the spa is not...
The room looked clean, but smelled like sewage. If we were staying longer or had arrived earlier in the day, we would’ve asked for a different room. They sent a maintenance guy to try to fix the problem, but it didn’t improve. Since we were on the first floor, we couldn’t open a window because the only window was a full sliding glass door and it’s not safe to basically sleep with your door open. So...
I was with a group of 6 friends on golf trip. Great location for about 7 courses within 10 to 20 min taxi. Also close to airport and Marrakesh centre.
Hotel is huge with nice grounds. Padel and tennis courts are good fun. Pool areas are a bit worn and dated. Rooms are ok, bit dated.
I’d say more like a 3 to 4 start in other European places.
Staff were really nice and accommodated later check out...
Good short weekend break , clean , good food , easy airport transfer , weather great , what’s not to like !
Staff are amazing, plenty of things to keep you entertained around the place. Lots of food of different types to suit many tastes.

It was my first time there and it's not bad
The hotel itself is very good and has a very convenient location. I would be happy to recommend it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is the poor sound insulation between rooms. We were given a room with a connecting door to the neighboring room, and although it was closed, we could clearly hear everything going on next door.
Super nice staff and friendly.
Very welcoming and helpful.
Will surely recommend this and worth at least coming back to for sure.
The hotel was good, Staff were great - However major disappointment as we booked it due to it having a SPA and a gym (it was advertised as such, and still does) - however when we got there the SPA was being renovated and it completely derailed our plans! We expect some kind of compensation for this, but not had anything from ******* or the hotel either!
The hotel itself is not bad, common area are nice, garden and pool are nice but the room are very random and maybe a bit old design.
The price is right, and it's very close to the nearby shopping mall. The two most famous bars are also nearby and can be reached on foot. The environment of the small garden is also very good

Airport pick pick up was good, hotel facilities were good, food options were not too comprehensive

The hotel is stunning with a massive garden ground and a big outdoor swimming pool , an indoor pool too. Room is very spacious with good tropical shower . All places are kept well and clean . Staff is very nice and helpful . A big plus is a free shuttle bus to the city 5 times a day . Food is plentiful and a good selection .
Will love to go back .
Top staff, top lifeguards, but the entertainment team is very poor, needs to be reviewed. The all-inclusive formula is not great at all, the buffets need to be reviewed.
Fantastic stay at this hotel. Everything was great. I couldn't have asked for more!!
The hotel was really perfect. The welcome, the cleanliness, the friendliness, the food was great. Nothing to say. It is a family hotel and perfectly adapted to people with reduced mobility. The shuttle that takes you back to Jama El Fna is a great service. It is one less worry to get around. The hotel also has a very useful application.
Very good. The restaurant is delicious. But it is too dirty. There are a lot of flies in the lobby and it smells bad.
The resort itself was beautiful and the people were all lovely and so kind. Couldn’t fault a single member of staff. Only thing that’s slightly an inconvenience is the location but they make up for that by providing a free shuttle bus service so it’s still good nonetheless. Food was amazing and has an excellent variety.

My family needed to leave the car in Marakesh for an overnight excursion (1 night). The manager denied the request (it took asking several people to get an answer) because someone had recently left their car in the lot for a month. I stayed at the Grand Mogador Menara & Spa on January 30–31, 2026, for a quick overnight escape in Marrakech. The hotel's elegant Moroccan decor and spacious, clean room immediately impressed me—comfortable bed, modern amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere after a day out. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially at reception and during check-in/out
The hotel's location is pretty good, and it mainly focuses on hot springs. I saw a lot of foreigners wearing bathrobes, heading to the sauna on the basement level. Breakfast was just okay, with not many options. What was interesting was that two little birds and a cat flew into the breakfast room, adding some fun to the restaurant. The hotel staff were quite efficient, but communication was a bit troublesome...

Check-in was slow, which wasn’t great after a long, delayed flight. When I finally reached reception, I had to challenge the staff member who claimed my booking was for one person, even though my paperwork clearly stated it was for two.

Nice all inclusive with entertainment that is actually so much fun. Clean hotel! Great food options. If you want something specific to eat just ask for it they will make it for you. Delicious coffee and salad. My husband loved the oxtail!
The hotel staff was so nice and accomodating especially housekeeping. The quiet pool was one of the nicest I have ever swam in and clean. What I do have to say is that the food was god awful. Not a 5 star experience. Bathroom had cracked and badly repaired tiles, and shower was over the bath rather than separate. Some of the communal areas looked shabby. Food at dinner and breakfast was uninspiring.

Had a treat experience at this resort. Restaurant s, Spa, staff was superb. Even the security team was welcoming. I would stay here again. My only negative comment would be,under the all inclusive deal the alcohol on site is bottle shelf
The food was good. There was always options for vegetarians. The room was very comfortable. But there was room for improvement on the service.
This is a nice hotel but definitely not a 5 start as claimed by *******. Reasons for this:
1. Mini bar and coffee offered in the room - 2 coffee pods, not restocked. Nothing but a bottle of water in the mini fridge. Barely any choice of tea. And 2 mini milk pods.
2. All inclusive does not include access to the spa facilities (understand treatments are extra but seriously?!).
3. No extra pillows...
The rooms were Clean, pretty new property. Staff was friendly. There was two pools pretty big .
The only thing I didn't like is we had ants in the room. The hotel very from the Attraction and town.
The corridor was unclean, with visible signs of neglect. Cockroaches and other pests were present in the area. The overall standard of cleanliness does not meet the expectations for a three-star establishment, let alone a five-star facility.
Had a massage it was superb.
Room was clean but dark set back in a corner .
