The hotel’s staff are friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect for taking a train since it’s 5 minute’s walk from the train station. Good stay but not a traditional riad Not a traditional Riad but didn’t take away from how good the location was. Bed was hard which I enjoyed, but my partner did not. AC was ice cold. The riad was great! It was my first time, but I was able to see the city of Marrakech in Morocco and it was fun!

The breakfasts were decent, but the selection was limited. There were some issues with toiletries; initially, there was only liquid soap, which they decided not to refill during room cleaning. There was no shampoo, etc. I had to ask reception, and they gave me everything I needed, which is great, but the fact that I had to ask for such things personally somewhat spoiled the experience.

I didn't stay here. I'm writing this review because I couldn't find any recommendations for the restaurant at the Akabar Hotel. The food is excellent. The tagine with pieces of meat is very affordable and delicious. It melts in your mouth and is very juicy. We had mint tea and local Moroccan beer, both delicious. The service was very good. Avoid this hotel. The staff are friendly, but the road noise makes it impossible to sleep. Breakfast is mediocre, and if you arrive after 8:30 am, there's nothing left to eat.

I visited only to exchange money, as it is widely recommended as having the best rates in the city. However, upon comparing, the rates seemed quite similar to other nearby spots. There is usually a long line and you have to be patient. It's a reliable place to exchange currency, but don't expect a huge difference compared to other official offices

Never stayed here, but we review as we have used their facilities. There is a toilet facility on the third floor, clean and well kept, on the same floor they have restaurant. And the down floor they exchange which has the best price, check for our review about the exchange. Staff and people seem friendly.

We only know this as a pickup point for tours. However, it doesn't open for food until at least 9am. There is plenty of room outside to gather in your groups, and it can get quite busy, whilst others do the same. It is right on the main market square.

This location offers very fair value for exchange. They don’t even check passport. We did not wait for too long time to get money. If you visit Marrakech and need some local currency, I will recommend this place to you.

We absolutely loved our stay at Le Relais De Marrakech. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We immediately felt right at home. We loved all the animals pottering about and there was just a wonderful energy to the whole place. The staff were really helpful with booking taxis or any other questions we had. This is an ideal property for kids, but the conveyance to the main city everyday will cost around £20 one way. We didn’t get a tissue refill for our 3 days stay and since we were out the whole day, we couldn’t ask at the reception too. I felt the food options in the restaurant is limited too.

A stylish Riad in the heart of the medina. A quiet and peaceful haven, with plenty of spaces to relax. Superb hosts Michel and Hasnae so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to welcome you. We had a very early start but Michel still got up early to prepare breakfast for us, just reflective of what they will do to make your stay an enjoyable one.

We chose this hotel because it's close to the train station, a 15-minute walk away. The hotel has everything you need for an overnight stay. The breakfast is modest, but you'll be quite full. The staff is polite. However, one drawback is the sound between rooms.

Not a bad location for Marrakech, close to rail station and not far from market and other sites. Our room overlooked some residential block which was really scruffy and some parts of the building were derelict. Shame really as hotel has some potential. Breakfast was poor compared to later hotels we went to, it needs more choice and an omelette option as well.
