The check-in process was good for customer service, but my room experience was terrible. I booked a superior suite, but I ended up with a regular room. I was informed that the person who was supposed to be in the room decided to stay another day. When I checked online, I found that the room was still available for reservation. The next day, when I asked to switch to my reserved room, I was told that it was booked again and that I should check back in line. Surprisingly, the same room was still available for reservation. I feel like they were scamming people by booking a suite at a higher price and then giving them a cheaper room.
The night crew member was very friendly and informed me that the manager was traveling. However, I don’t understand who is responsible for managing the website and ensuring that the correct room is posted when it’s available. I tried to contact them via phone and email, but nothing happened. I hope that Trip guide and the hotel will take responsibility for their actions and make sure that this doesn’t happen to other customers. I could have booked a different suite that had a similar aesthetic to what I was looking for, but I couldn’t even cancel the reservation. There should be a system in place for booking a specific room, and if the room is not available, the customer should receive an automatic refund. It’s their job to figure out when the room is available and what type of room it is. Additionally, the room had a bunch of knickknacks, and the table, wall, and bottom of the table were all chipped, cracked.

What an amazing Riad! We had the best time in Morocco thanks to our stay here, the staff are just amazing and so friendly. Our room was small but exactly what we needed, the communal area is delightful and the rooftop is nice too. The room has a hair dryer, lovely decor and towels. Breakfast was included, we only had it once but nice coffee and orange juice. It’s in a great location, just outside the really busy areas but within a 15 minute walk of all the good places. One of the best thing was the Riad Cat Mimi had kittens on our first day that were so cute, we spent a lot of time with them and the staff looked after them so well. If I come back to Marrakesh, I’ll be staying here. (You can hear everything around the building though so keep in mind when making any noise late or early)

Very nice, clean and peaceful Riad. The room was very spacious. It had air conditioning in it which helped to cool the room when it was warm. The continental breakfast was nice also. The hosts were very professional and polite during our stay. They let us leave our luggage there on our last day when our flight was at 10pm. The shuttle service they arranged was on time and very professional.

Loved this place , a little harbour of peace in a busy Medina... Mohamed who looks after the riad was so nice and made sure everything was ok for me...My room was fantastic, sherazad....the breakfast was great as well, loved the homemade cakes...I was a bit anxious before going as alone but this place made me totally relaxed , I come back 1 day, surely

This place is absolutely terrible. Do not stay here. Over priced and under promised. We booked to go which would cover new year. Once booked and deposit paid we booked our flights. They offered to show us the new year menu and eventually sent over. It didn’t suit the younger people with us so we declined. At that point we were told we can’t stay for new year! Despite not telling us that if we didn’t have the new year menu we have would have to stay somewhere else! They kindly offered to book us somewhere. However, it was a nightmare place that cost around €400 less than we had paid the for the riad! No offer of refunding us the difference, they just kept it! A clear case of the French owners hating the English and conning us out of money! As for the riad. The room was dingy and smelt of drains. Night time was noisy. Not what we expected. The spa was an empty bath tub on the top floor and the laundry was hanging out so you have to fight through to see it! Don’t stay here it’s terrible and the owners couldn’t care less about the people. There are many different better value places to stay!

DO NOT STAY HERE. I had booked a room months ago and on the day of my arrival at 3pm (PAST check in time) as I was on my way to the hotel, they cancelled my reservation for overbooking (AFTER already charging my card). I was left to scramble and waste my limited time in Marrakech trying to find a new place to stay. They also did not even respond to any of my messages. Extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional.

PUBLICITE MENSONGERE! Les très belles photos publiées ne correspondent pas du tout à la réalité. Vous avez embauché un très bon photographe muni de matériel d'éclairage performant qui donne une allure "mille et une nuits" cependant dans les faits, les chambres sont très sombres. On n'y voit rien, même en plein jour avec les lumières allumées. En effet la bâche marron qui recouvre le patio, seule source de lumière naturelle assombrit tout et l'éclairage tamisé par les lampes en fer forgé donne un aspect lugubre à la chambre dont les couleurs elles-mêmes sont déjà foncées. (Shazaman) De plus je m'attendais après des journées de marche dans la ville bruyante et poussiéreuse à pouvoir me délasser dans le jacuzzi, puis me laisser masser dans votre hammam (qui figurent pourtant sur votre annonce). Mais ni l'un ni l'autre ne sont en fonctionnement. Vous ne pouvez regarder la télé qu'avec votre propre abonnement Netflix, aucune chaîne n'est disponible. Ceci est purement de la publicité mensongère. D'autre part en raison d'un départ très matinal, nous avons écourté notre séjour d'une nuit en espérant pouvoir bénéficier d'un geste commercial, peut-être un dîner servi sur place, voir une petite déjeuner, mais cela aussi n'était pas possible... Impossibilité de joindre le propriétaire ??? Bref tout ceci a contribué à cette désagréable impression que nous avons eu durant tout notre séjour à être pris pour des "pigeons".

We went to this riad. Not much words to say. They charged us for a city tax of 55 EUR (11 days). Which i understand. But we asked two times for breakfast at 7:15 am. Which was not possible. We payed for breakfast the full 11 days. The bathroom closet under the sink is terrible and broken. The toilet seat is broken. The jacuzzi is filthy and there is an extra to pay if u want to use it. The remote of the tv has no batteries. Massage room is terrible and filthy. The bath smells like mould and looks like it. Nothing is like on the photo’s. We spoke to the manager ( who really yelled at me). About the city tax. We told him we didn’t want to pay the city tax and get a refund for the two breakfasts. He answered he is the boss and if i dont pay that by tonight he will throw our luggage on the streets. He repeatedly said this 3 times. We have this on audio and i also have pictures of the riad and the complaints i am talking about. We have nothing against the personnel but the riad is terrible The manager is an aggresive person and threatens us. Look at the pictures.

My wife and I visited Marrakesh for the first time and wanted to capture the authentic feel of a traditional riad (as opposed to the hotel life we’re accustomed to). The open style, beautiful decor and impeccable cleanliness made our experience truly a pleasant one.
The staff were especially helpful and, whether it was catering to our dietary needs, translating our local phone calls or preparing me a rooftop hookah, their hospitality was representative of Moroccan people!
Although the riad is difficult to find for the first time, you very quickly realise just how prime it’s location is. The famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square is close by with various markets, restaurants and tourist hotspots on the way there.
The rooms themselves were more than comfortable with daily cleans and air conditioning (a necessity after spending hours in the scorching heat!). Size was on the compact side, but storage was well designed so it wasn’t too much of an issue. Would’ve been nice if the bathroom was to the same standards as the room - there was a minor plumbing smell, but it was still kept immaculately.
Overall, I would highly recommend Riad Miel et une Nuit and would like to thank Abdullah and the team for their efforts during our stay 🙌🏽

After reading reviews and seeing pictures we had good expectations but were very disapointed at arrival.
We entered the building that was smelling so much of smoke. The hammam was dirty full of personal belongings of staff and not available for guests. Same for the terrace, which was not used in weeks it seemed and very dirty.
The room itself is nicly decorated, but the bathroom is clearly of poor standard and was not clean.
Most disturbing was the nuiance of the bar: the noise, the smoke. Definitly not a place you want to stay with kids or as a non smoker.

The Riad is tucked away but its an absolute gem of a find. The hotel is lovely and clean, and what was expected. The bathroom was tiny though but for a short break away was absolutely fine. The staff were super friendly and helpful even with a slight language barrier

Our family went to the cafe for lunch. My daughters wanted a Henna tattoo and they were so patient and well done I got one as well! Food was good and great teas :)

I read great things about this cafe and opted to go here, bringing my sister along, over any other henna artist in the city. While my sister's henna ended up being good, mine was smudged while the artist was transferring me over to the drying area and then was half-way fixed after the fact. The older female artist noticed my distress over the messy areas and tried to fix them, but given that it has partially dried, the henna had already stained some. When I asked the owner whether the smudged areas would show he said yes, they would appear a bit messy. I then asked whether it could be fixed and he said that I could wash it off and try again. Not wanting to go through the 45 minute-long process over again, I asked if a slight discount could be taken given that the finished product was less than perfect, through no fault of my own.
He stated that no discount could ever be given and I could either wash it off and leave (the tint already having partially dyed my skin) or I could pay full price. He then, aleady defensive and angry, briefly spoke to the artist in Arabic, who told him that I had moved during the drying (several others there can attest that I did not). Contradicting his earlier statement, he went back and said that it would look just fine once I took it off, not messy at all. We left having paid full-price at a premium rate (given the reputation of the cafe), as I didn't want to further disturb other clients, for henna that was messy. The beauty of henna is that it's imperfect, but clean lines are desired in nearly any form of hand art. This is just shoddy work and poor business practice.
