Marrakech, 54, Diour Jdad, Zaouia Abbassia (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We had an amazing stay at Riad Charai! Hicham was an exceptional host, friendly, welcoming and attentive. The pictures of the riad online do not do it justice, it is just fantastic! It's peaceful and clean with amazing staff. The breakfast every morning was excellent, and the service was amazing. We were lucly enough to get a room upgrade to the Safran room which was beautifully decorated with lots...
We stayed in the Laurier room. For the price we paid, this room was not worth at all. It was extremely basic. There were other rooms that were spacious and provided a more authentic feel. The staff were friendly and helpful, but didn’t bother going above and beyond to make us feel special. For eg, they didn’t explain why we had two keys. We later found out that the second key was for the outside door...
My friend and I have just returned from the most magical trip to Marrakech. It was everything and more than we could have dreamt it to be. The Riad (Riad Charai) was the most stunning of places - an oasis of calm and tranquility in the heart of the bustling Medina. The Riad was beautiful, clean and immaculately presented. The food was fabulous and the staff were incredible. We want to say a massive...
Had 3 fantastic nights at the riad. Place was clean, staff is super friendly. Located at the old town (Medina), which is around a 20 min walk to the souks, 20 min walk to the jardin majorelle.
Great experience.
The staff were extremely nice and helpful. They did their best to make us feel comfortable at the Riad
We stayed for 1 week at the Riad. There is nothing to complain about. The location was great, the food was delicious , the staff were friendly and very welcoming. We met Abdul, Said and Abdherham and they were the most friendliest persons you can imagine. They were very helpful and welcomed us with open arms. Although the Riad is located a little bit outside of the city center, it is still accessible...

Such a wonderful, beautiful, warm and welcoming experience staying here a couple of nights. The manager and staff were very respectful, helpful and professional. I felt very comfortable and safe. We stayed at their top floor room which gave us a great view of the rooftops of marrakech. The breakfast was also very tasty! P.s if you love music and literature there’s loads to keep you company inside....
Amazing Riad, I would stay here over and over again, it's so comfortable. Marwane and Hakim really looked after us every single step of the way. When we got there Hakim explained in detail everything to watch out for and provided important information. We stayed a lengthy 16 nights and we do not regret staying here. We never got bored of the breakfast and will truly miss it. We had a basic room which...
Riad Ben Youssef is truly a jewel in Marrakesh ! You could hardly find a better place for such a good price. The place offers a perfectly calm atmosphere in an authentically decorated riad with a pool (you should not underestimate how amazing this is in the hot afternoons of Marrakesh), a peaceful inner courtyard, a rooftop, library, and plenty of other common spaces to chill in. The rooms themselves...
Cut out from the medina. Easy access to jemaa lfnaa. Staff are wonderful and very informative. Very nice complimentary breakfasts.
Amazing Riad; in the middle of the Medina but very quiet and feels very secluded. My room was beautiful, had a comfy bed and well-equipped bathroom. Pool is also great to get relax a bit and get away from the busy city in the mid-day heat.

A clean, beautiful, upscale, quiet hotel with a lovely design. I highly recommend it.
The rooms are small, the bathroom, the pool even no mini bar in the room need some clearance more but the service af all the employees there was super waw (reception, Coffee and the breakfast) it comes on the middle near to everything
What kind of bicycle do you want for a little more than 200? There should be a nightclub nearby. It will be noisy all night. This surprised me in this Muslim country.
Avoid this hotel. The staff are friendly, but the road noise makes it impossible to sleep. Breakfast is mediocre, and if you arrive after 8:30 am, there's nothing left to eat.

The breakfast at Riad Gallery 49 was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Fresh fruit, delicious cheeses, and local delicacies made the meal very special. The relaxed atmosphere made it a peaceful and enjoyable start to our morning.
The decor at Riad Gallery 49 is simple but beautiful. The colors, furniture, and little details all work perfectly together. The design makes you feel calm and relaxed. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy every corner, as it’s so thoughtfully designed.
The breakfast at Riad Gallery 49 was amazing. They offer fresh fruits, a variety of cheeses, and delicious bread. Everything was so tasty and healthy. It was the perfect way to start the day, and the peaceful atmosphere made it even better.
The location of Riad Gallery 49 is perfect. It’s very close to the city center, but in a quiet area. You can easily reach many tourist spots and restaurants. It’s a great place to stay if you want to be close to everything but still enjoy some peace and quiet.
We stayed at this riad was a beautiful experience. The place is peaceful, full of charm, and decorated with traditional Moroccan details. The staff was so kind and helpful, they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast in the courtyard was a lovely start to each day. We’d love to return.
We had a truly relaxing stay at Riad Gallery. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The courtyard was our favorite spot, calm, green, and perfect for enjoying a mint tea. Spectacular riad, excellent value for money. Exceptional service, they were very attentive to us at all times. We'll definitely be back!
Everything was amazing. The staff are very very nice, rooms are beautiful, pool is small but clean and cool, lovely terrace on roof with sun loungers. Quiet street, 1 minute walk to the main street
An authentic villa! From the moment you arrive, you're immersed in the Moroccan atmosphere! An unforgettable welcome from Mohamed and the famous mint tea accompanied by delicious Moroccan pastries that I later sought out to bring back home. The riad is very close to the famous square; you can walk everywhere.
If you're reading this you're probably wondering if the Riad Amira is the right choice for when you visit Marrakech - which can a tough question considering how many options for accommodation are on offer!

Good hotel very clean has hot water. Service is great. The wifi may be slow at times and the breakfast was lacking. Not the best selection of food.
Very clean, nicely located. Kind staff and has a good vibe. Beds are very small though, even the double bed is small. And there can be better amenities overall. Lady at breakfeast is very kind.
Very friendly staff and good breakfast. Room is relatively basic and cold during the winter months. The property is, however, beautiful.
I have high praise to Soufiah who helped me when I arrived in the riad. His hospitality and kindness made a big difference on my stay.
Breakfast is okay, they could probably use a better glass for the juice next time. 🫣
The riad itself is quiet and around 10 mins from Medina square.
The riad is good for families I should say or traveler who wants peace and quiet.
Not only was the room cute and clean, but the service was excellent. They helped us store our luggage after we checked out and offered us delicious Moroccan tea and cookies. It was a very good stay. Thank you very much.
Wonderful location walking distance to most of attractions in Marrarkech 10 minutes from Jewish Quarter, Palais Badi, Bab Agnaou, 10 - 15 minutes to La Koutoubia, Le Jardin Secret. However we got lost looking for the Riad when arriving the first day. It would have been helpful if more clear and detailed directions were given (not just a map) with the booking confirmation.

Great location/authentic locale in the heart of Medina. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Mattress/ pillows could use updating but charming overall.

Magnificent riad with charming decor. Everything invites you to relax after the lively sightseeing of Marrakech. Sculpted ceilings, a majestic fountain, colorful or Saharan rooms, the place is unique. And at our service, the staff offers tips for exploring the region off the beaten track. The staff is simply amazing, especially Youssef, extremely polite and friendly he helped us and advised us to live the most magical experience possible.
If you are looking for the best place to stay in Marrakech, this is it!
We love you and miss you Youssef, we’ll be back soon!

Absolutely beautiful and an amazing place. The rooms were very clean, the staff were super welcoming and helpful, the riad is kid friendly, the food was exceptional, and the fact that you are immersed with the locals in the heart of Marrakech is incredible. Took me a bit to find the place with all the tight narrow walkways, but after a few times I got it. No complaints.
All the staff there especially Youssef are very helpful and accommodating to anything you need. The Riad is very clean and the food was very delicious. Wonderful place to stay I would recommend it to anyone.
Delightful hotel. Authentic style with central courtyard set in the cool canopy of four gorgeous orange trees; had 2 magical evening meals here by the fountain amongst scattered rose trees. And the beautiful little birds that once in a while delicately flit from tree to tree. Breakfast served here, too, as the first soft rays of morning sunshine filter through the leaves of the citrus trees.

Have just returned from another excellent stay at Riad Shaden. It is an traditional riad with a lovely moroccan breakfast served to you each morning. We done the hot air balloon trip with Mohamed from the Riad which was such a great experience. I would highly recommend booking your airport transfers and trips through the Riad , the team make your stay as enjoyable as it can be. Look forward to another...
Excellent. The photos are accurate, the rooms are clean, lovely breakfast with great fresh orange juice and real, morrocan coffee. Best of all is the staff, who simply cannot do enough for guests and are extremely pleasant. Lovely roof terrace, too. I cannot recommend this Riad highly enough. If I had known beforehand that they offer excursions, I would have booked with them rather than my usual company...

From the moment I arrived at the Riad, I feel welcomed and immersed in the culture of Marrakech. The hotel was traditionally inspired, I was welcomed in with tea and pastries on arrival and checked in with complete ease. The room I stayed in was a double bed with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning was also in the room - which definitely helped cool me down after spending the day in the hot sun...
Riad shaden is absolutely beautiful extremely traditional, staff were very welcoming especially Mohammed and syed. Breakfast was good apart from when we asked if we could have a coffee the morning of our (we asked the night before) departure as we were being picked up at 7am. We were told by Iman that we couldn't have coffee as the ladies were not there to make it, but we could have orange juice and...
