Great hotel with excellent facilities and staff

The hotel and facilities are amazing. Breakfast staff are friendly. Concierge friendly too. Check in and check out is a process and takes long with long wait times and queues. Check in staff not the most friendly. Otherwise had a fab time.

If you like waiting this place is for you! Whilst most of the staff are friendly, there is a serious lack of urgency in their service. Whether it was checking-in, ordering drinks, or asking for a towel by the pool, you’d always have to wait. This is quite a surprise given the number of staff working - it is unbelievably painful to see plenty of resource around, yet all lack a sense of urgency and ooze...

It was perfect experience but the price is too high. Also the in door swimming pools are very dirty water you can smell it. For the break fast was perfect.

The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by the famous Buddahbar, a restaurant that has the best show in Marrakech, as well as simple meals, supermarkets, shopping malls, currency exchange points, etc. Very good, worth recommending.

A very good experience. It is said to be the best hotel in Marrakech. There is a shopping mall next to the hotel, which is convenient for shopping. The room is spacious but the door looks old. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool. The breakfast is very rich and the waiters are polite.

First time in this hotel, and really not disappointed! A wonderful welcome, everyone makes themselves available for us, an exceptional breakfast, room and swimming pool at the top!  Thanks to the whole team and especially to Amina and Imed. I will come back without hesitation.

We booked for a 3 night stay for 3 people but had to manage a room for 2, for the first 2 nights. No apologies whatsoever from the hotel nor a compensation. The 2 rooms we stayed in during our stay were both badly lit; make up for nights out was a huddle cos the room was quite dark. A great highlight however is the amazing location and fresh flowers in the lobby that oozed amazing scents.

Honestly I don't recommend the bed, the pillows are as hard as bricks... sorry but luckily the porters and the ladies at reception raised my rating

Location next to the convention center but a little far from the tourist area. Very basic breakfast, I find it almost catastrophic for a 3 or 4 *. The worst for me is the reception staff who seriously lack customer relations. First, arrived around midnight, the room was already fully paid online, the reception staff did not give me my room without paying the tourist tax for the 5 nights, a small amount...

Really nice hotel, in a fantastic location.

Hotel very well located in the center of Marrakech. The hotel is very pretty with lots of evening entertainment and shows. The only problem was that upon arrival the air conditioning was faulty and despite all the comments from tourists, the technical service took 4 days to repair it. The people at reception are very nice but are completely lost. Be careful of the swimming pool which is very dirty

We enjoyed our stay at Iberostar Waves in Marrakech. It was clean, beautifully landscaped, delicious food, attentive staff- everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. We would highly recommend!

Fabulous! Wonderful stay. 2 adults with 16 year old daughter. We spent most of our days by the adult only Zen pool which was fabulous. The drinks and cocktails were all great, especially the Mojitos. The food was hot, plentiful and a great choice including freshly squeezed orange at breakfast. The ground are beautifully looked after.

We had a room facing the pool are which can be a bit noisy at night.

The hotel has good facilities. The shuttle to Marrakech was a great free service.

Happy with style and size of my room, variety of dining options and food being offered. Large grounds to explore and relax in. Shuttle service prompt and reliable. Some issues with heat of cooked breakfast options.

Great all inclusive hotel. Wonderful hotel well maintained. The food choices are amazing and personnel is extremely nice and welcoming. The shuttle service to go to Marrakech is with a full size bus and offers convenient schedules. Love the gym too! Would come again.

The hotel itself is not bad, common area are nice, garden and pool are nice but the room are very random and maybe a bit old design.

The price is right, and it's very close to the nearby shopping mall. The two most famous bars are also nearby and can be reached on foot. The environment of the small garden is also very good

Great location. Gardens, Poolside, Lobby but disappointed rooms. Very old , stinky, uncomfortable rooms. Rooms needs immediate new and modern updates. Have changed the room three times. With this room’s condition price is on higher side. Customer service is good though.

Really pleased with the hotel and the staff were very helpful and friendly- we are both veggie and didn’t have a problem with the food options but we may have found it repetitive if we had stayed longer. Our only concern was that housekeeping knocked on our door at 22.45 one night I think to give us something but we didn’t feel happy answering the door.

This hotel was great for a family trip away. Nice pool areas and facilities. Staff were very friendly also.

The property needs to be renovated. This is not a 5* hotel. If you go there with the expectation of 3-4 stars you won’t be too disappointed. You have to request basic 5 stars amenities instead of it being provided in the rooms. The food is good and there is a variaty

My stay was only a short one, and I am very much a foodie, but my thoughts in summary are ; beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms, poor drinks at times eg making a pina colada with vodka because the bar was closing in 30 minutes and they wouldn't open a new bottle of rum !!! Food was heavily vegetarian and the meat options were of poor quantity and quality. Some great sports options which sadly I did...

It’s very run-down for a ‘5 star’ resort. Everything just needed re-vamping. A lot of the sun loungers were broken etc. The food and drink were not good, and the service in the other restaurant, which you have to book, was awful - we left after the first course! The staff however, were so kind and friendly, and the place was clean!

I had read alot of the other reviews after i had booked this holiday and i was put off, so i did not know what to expect! All in all i had a brilliant time, the hotel was nice theres a area for quiet time and a large pool also another pool with the bar and entertainment which was very good. The drinks are in decent cups and all tatsted good cant fault anything with that. The food also was very nice...

After reading the reviews we were apprehensive. But the hotel was great . The animation team were absolutely amazing . The fact you have use of two pools . 1 very lively and 1 peaceful is fantastic. Mehdi was so helpful from day 1 . The Bar staff are lovely . Breakfast and lunch is fabulous. Evening not too good , as are most all inclusive ls . Overall great experience. And definitely value...

Overall a good stay for the price paid. Service could have been better we had to keep asking for fresh towels and toilet paper, as it wasn’t topped up daily. The phones in our rooms did not work and the sliding doors leading to the back of the hotel from our room were broken. Breakfast was really good and of high quality. For lunch and dinner we ate at the mall which was 10mins walk away from the hotel...

Very good hotel with quiet swimming pool and swimming pool atmosphere. Room with pool view ok, the people at the hotel are excellent, attentive when there is a problem. Satisfied overall despite the negative reviews that can be found on the site. If you are looking for calm, a swimming pool and pleasant staff, don't hesitate!

Heating did not work so we were very cold, and the last two days the shower was no longer warm. Staff is also friendly.

Lovely staff always ready to help with a smile, whether they are housekeepers, maintenance workers, waiters, reception, entertainers and photographers, everyone has a smile. The gardens are very well maintained, the only downside is the main swimming pool which is not heated.

Excellent, nothing else to say. Except for the almost absence of entertainment during the day and also in the evening.

Came in the off-season and Ramadan, so not all amenities were available, but most were. Has a bar, swimming pool, poolside restaurant/ bar, fitness room, spa, tea room, etc. The dinners and breakfasts were good. Staff were really nice. Rooms were spacious, clean and appealing. My room had a covered balcony. It a $5 taxi ride to the Souk. This place must be rocki g in summer.

This is a nice hotel with a little bit of something for everyone. There are some shops for shopping and some bars for drinking. There are three restaurants /cafes on the premises. Stayed here overnight en route to a motorcycle tour and then again overnight at the end of the tour. First room was ok, pretty standard. Last room much better. Located on the other side of the hotel and pool. The room was ample, much larger with good facilities and quiet. Breakfast generally good with usual fare on offer. The hotel is beautiful, big rooms. Great and delicious buffet breakfast. The only issue, the room was really cold even though the heater.

Good for a trip - but missing the 5 star treatment Location was amazing and had some amazing facilities. The room was beautiful and spacious but is a bit outdated in terms of furniture and decoration so that needs updating. Additionally, the room had some issues with the shower which could not be resolved and we had to keep reminding them to clean the room. The service staff was really good though...

Great service, very large rooms but very poor and simple decoration, with all the beautiful artisan work available this place should be astonishing, but it isn’t. This is by any means a 5 star hotel , many bus excursions arrive here, the food also is not great, and the location is far away from all the historical sites and attractions. Don’t let the 5 star rating fool you.

A beautiful hotel located in the center of Gueliz. Very attentive staff.

It was okay. nothing special for a “5 start” resort. Arrive after 3pm and didn’t get checked in until after 4pm

The hotel is stunning with a massive garden ground and a big outdoor swimming pool , an indoor pool too. Room is very spacious with good tropical shower . All places are kept well and clean . Staff is very nice and helpful . A big plus is a free shuttle bus to the city 5 times a day . Food is plentiful and a good selection . Will love to go back .

Top staff, top lifeguards, but the entertainment team is very poor, needs to be reviewed. The all-inclusive formula is not great at all, the buffets need to be reviewed.

The hotel was really perfect. The welcome, the cleanliness, the friendliness, the food was great. Nothing to say. It is a family hotel and perfectly adapted to people with reduced mobility. The shuttle that takes you back to Jama El Fna is a great service. It is one less worry to get around. The hotel also has a very useful application.

I really liked the hotel, my friends were passing by, looked in and immediately fell in love so much that they booked a stay there for a few days. Very beautiful design, good location.

Good location. Near the main square of Marrakech. Large swimming pool.

Decent hotel room, but the sound proof sucks, we can basically hear the mosque calling prayer to pray or the breakfast commotion downstairs as our room is facing the swimming pool. There are two swimming in the hotel, one is a heated one which is nice, but they are not that deep. The Moroccan and Indian restaurants inside the hotel which we had tried are pretty good, but slow service.

It was an amazing experience, the only thing i would reccomend is adding a laundry room for guests staying for an extended period of time.

Beautiful hotel but very noisy! Can hear the guests from other room ( screaming kids at 2am playing and being hysterical..), echoes from hallway and the loud motorway. Very accomodating staff though, helpful and with the room issues they sorted it swiftly (shower was not working, sink was blocked). Also.. we were short of and waiting for towels everyday... was a literal towel hunt as we had 4 people...

We’ve been loyal guests at this hotel for years, but our recent stay left us deeply disappointed and questioning whether we’ll return. From the moment we arrived, the experience was soured by the receptionist’s behavior. Unprofessional, arrogant, and condescending, their attitude made us feel anything but welcome. A smile or basic courtesy would’ve gone a long way, but instead, we were met with cold...

Due to heavy snow, we returned to Marrakech. We hurriedly booked this hotel in the middle of the night. I was pleasantly surprised. The price was not expensive. I booked a triple room for one night. It even included breakfast, which was pretty good! The room was also quite big and standard. Not bad!

The hotel is not far from the airport, with rich facilities, many dining and entertainment activities, the front desk customer service is very considerate, the balcony scenery is great, and it is suitable for leisure and vacation overall.
