We were after a hotel that had a large pool area to relax after sight seeing in February, and this 100% fitted the bill. We stayed at a golf hotel just across from the golf course but I played four rounds of golf at this amazing golf club. I managed to get out every morning quite early to avoid the waiting. Very bad location , they charge you 200 dirhams per vehicle . Great location but rooms with bad smell. The first room received was with a tobacco smell so we asked another one. One of the employee was laughing like it is not so important and blocking but for a non smoker it is really inappropriate. The second room had a smell of sewage. Very bad. So when asking for a solution we have changed to a 3rd room. Not easy at all and no compensation.

We had a wonderful stay at Barcelo. The staff are friendly and keep the hotel clean, despite a few guests (of French origin) throwing their bottles near the pool. We will gladly return next year.

The room looked clean, but smelled like sewage. If we were staying longer or had arrived earlier in the day, we would’ve asked for a different room. They sent a maintenance guy to try to fix the problem, but it didn’t improve. Staff are amazing, plenty of things to keep you entertained around the place. Lots of food of different types to suit many tastes. Not much too see in walking distance but free shuttle into town daily.

It was my first time there and it's not bad

The hotel itself is very good and has a very convenient location. I would be happy to recommend it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is the poor sound insulation between rooms. We were given a room with a connecting door to the neighboring room, and although it was closed, we could clearly hear everything going on next door.

The hotel was good, Staff were great - However major disappointment as we booked it due to it having a SPA and a gym (it was advertised as such, and still does) - however when we got there the SPA was being renovated and it completely derailed our plans! Airport pick pick up was good, hotel facilities were good, food options were not too comprehensive

The pools and waterpark were great. One of the pools was heated which was good for one of the cooler days. The free shuttle bus into Marrakech was much appreciated, so we could do some sight-seeing. All of the staff were super friendly and looked after us.

The hotel staff are incredibly kind and the food is delicious 😋😇! The only disappointment was with room service, which wasn't as prompt or polished as we had hoped. Focusing there would make the experience perfect.

My family needed to leave the car in Marakesh for an overnight excursion (1 night). The manager denied the request (it took asking several people to get an answer) because someone had recently left their car in the lot for a month. Needs renovation, not enough facilities

Not a 5 star experience. Bathroom had cracked and badly repaired tiles, and shower was over the bath rather than separate. Some of the communal areas looked shabby. Food at dinner and breakfast was uninspiring.

Came in the off-season and Ramadan, so not all amenities were available, but most were. They refuse to be with my wife in 1 room because our marriage certificate is not issued from Morocco even they is the stamp from Moroccan consulate in the country where im living. This is a nice hotel but definitely not a 5 start as claimed by *******. Reasons for this: 1. Mini bar and coffee offered in the room - 2 coffee pods, not restocked. Nothing but a bottle of water in the mini fridge. Barely any choice of tea. And 2 mini milk pods. 2. All inclusive does not include access to the spa facilities (understand treatments are extra but seriously?!). 3. No extra pillows...

The rooms were Clean, pretty new property. Staff was friendly. There was two pools pretty big . The only thing I didn't like is we had ants in the room. The hotel very from the Attraction and town.

The corridor was unclean, with visible signs of neglect. Cockroaches and other pests were present in the area. The overall standard of cleanliness does not meet the expectations for a three-star establishment, let alone a five-star facility.

Spectacular hotel just a 4-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna square.
