Very welcoming, small Riad. Good location near the city walls but still close to the main square. We were expected to arrive late in the evening, the day before we arrived we received an email to ask what we wanted to eat when we arrived. The food was fabulous both for our dinner and breakfast. Relaxing pool inside and good view from the roof terrace.

Amazing place to stay in the middle of La Medina. The service was amazing and so helpful all the time, always with a smile. Good breakfast. The place is beautiful, bedrooms super confy and make you live a real marroquí experience! I super recomend!

When we arrived at the riad, it was definitely closed. We had to find alternative accommodation. This was a completely new experience for us and it truly ruined our vacation. We felt utterly helpless in the face of this scam. Best forgotten.

For my first time in Marrakech I couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay, the staff are amazing, really friendly and helpful. The Riad it's self is amazing, from the epic breakfast on the roof terrace, to dipping in the lovely pool to cool off, It is in a perfect location, very quiet for being so close to the city and it's perfect for exploring Marrakech. Thank you Raid Aloes, We will be back again.

My brother and I stayed at Riad Aloes for a few days while in the city for the first time. The owners were so welcoming and kind. It’s a beautiful property with a retractable roof and garden in the middle of the courtyard where we ate breakfast. The beds were comfortable, the room was so cozy, and the open shower was great! I would recommend it to anyone especially if you’re visiting Marrakech for the first time.

The riad is a really beautiful building, hidden in a side alley of the Medina. The location is perfect: It's right at the center, so we did everything by foot during our stay, but it is still calm enough if you need a quiet moment to relax during Marrakechs crazy chaos. The rooftop terrace is really great for that!
The breakfast we had was fine, and everything seemed clean enough. You should maybe note, that (as typical for a riad) all windows open to the courtyard in the center. This means that it won't be so easy for you to get fresh air into the room, and it also tends to be a little bit noisy if other guests talk just outside your room, especially on the ground floor. (and especially since our windows didn't close perfectly.)

A nice restaurant & bar, with a nice decor! A bit on a pricier side for Marrakesh but not expensive as such. Especially nice lounge vibe on the terrace. Definitely recommend for drinks on the terrace, haven’t tried the food so can’t comment.

Spent a few evenings here whilst in Marrakech, very nice place. Food very nice, good service and a nice selection of drinks. Cocktails a bit hit or miss, but they are one of only a few places that serve alcohol around. Can be very busy, best to book if you want to be guaranteed a table. The roof terrace is very nice.

Awesome experience! Great food, good service, and reasonable prices. Try to eat on the roof if possible. It filled up before 7:30pm on a Wednesday which surprised me, but it was definitely worth squeezing in!

Rooftop bar is very relaxed with a good selection of drinks including Moroccan beers. The views aren't that great but the service is very good. Beautiful building and courtyard. Well worth visiting to relax in the evening and watch the sunset.

Our family went to the cafe for lunch. My daughters wanted a Henna tattoo and they were so patient and well done I got one as well! Food was good and great teas :)

I read great things about this cafe and opted to go here, bringing my sister along, over any other henna artist in the city. While my sister's henna ended up being good, mine was smudged while the artist was transferring me over to the drying area and then was half-way fixed after the fact. The older female artist noticed my distress over the messy areas and tried to fix them, but given that it has partially dried, the henna had already stained some. When I asked the owner whether the smudged areas would show he said yes, they would appear a bit messy. I then asked whether it could be fixed and he said that I could wash it off and try again. Not wanting to go through the 45 minute-long process over again, I asked if a slight discount could be taken given that the finished product was less than perfect, through no fault of my own.

He stated that no discount could ever be given and I could either wash it off and leave (the tint already having partially dyed my skin) or I could pay full price. He then, aleady defensive and angry, briefly spoke to the artist in Arabic, who told him that I had moved during the drying (several others there can attest that I did not). Contradicting his earlier statement, he went back and said that it would look just fine once I took it off, not messy at all. We left having paid full-price at a premium rate (given the reputation of the cafe), as I didn't want to further disturb other clients, for henna that was messy. The beauty of henna is that it's imperfect, but clean lines are desired in nearly any form of hand art. This is just shoddy work and poor business practice.
