Stayed here one night solo. Got a free upgrade and while it is an older building the room was super clean and the bed was tidy. The owner is super-friendly and welcoming. There are not many more other options providing this much at this price point. Location wise its insane, 3 minutes from the beach and maybe two from the tram.

We booked a 3-bed room in the basement and it was quite large and spacious and had access to the backyard patio. The staircase was a little narro for my liking but we managed not to injure ourselves. The location was perfect and close to the beach, transit, and sites to see in the city by Tram. The staff were very nice and polite and we enjoyed our stay.

The building is old, but considering the price, it was a good choice for a one-day stay as it had breakfast and a balcony. In the winter, even with the radiator on, it was still a bit cold, so I stayed under the blanket.

Old style European hotel with dated facilities- but the location and view were great. I found the bed to be comfortable but firm and the curtains kept the light out. My friend’s mom says it’s haunted but we did not encounter any spirits, ghosts, haints, or geists. Staff was kind and we were able to get in early and leave our bags at reception when we had a late flight. I would stay again.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Going back there this July. Room was spacious , and bathroom was big. Loved the coffee and tea bar in the room, as well as the fridge. Plenty of places to hang our clothes. Location was perfect. Enjoyed being able to sit outside

The room was nice and clean with a bathtub and two extra comfortable beds. New coffee machines are coming, which will be a good addition. What pulls down the rating for me is the internet connection that drops out every minute, and low noise isolation from the balcony. If you are a light sleeper, expect to be awake in the weekends till past 3.

We just called in to get out of the cold this afternoon and sat in a warm beautiful area near the bar and open fire. Perfect drinks and very attentive professional staff. Such a great warm place. It's just a regular motel; the rooms are quite old, but they're cleaned daily and the cleaning is pretty good. I'd recommend it for those on a budget. If your budget allows, I'd recommend a proper hotel (over 100 euros).

I was prepared to accept the price without much expectation of quality. Free parking and breakfast were included. The small room was perfectly acceptable for a short business trip, but the cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable... The bathroom had a strong urine smell... So I promptly cancelled the stay.

Basic clean room. Service is excellent. The property has no lift and the room is lack of sockets to plug in multiple devices. The position of those sockets is not good either which is all on one side near the window. No socket is near the bedside.

The hotel was strategically located in the food district, and nearby supermarkets provided guests with access to necessities. The hotel staff were super, they made sure I was comfortable. One of the staff even gave me a map and gave recommendations on where to go and where to eat.

The overall feeling is pretty good, the room is not small, three pieces of luggage can be spread out, it is two stops away from Rotterdam Central Station, the surrounding area is relatively quiet, and it is convenient to travel, whether it is going to Cube House, The Hague or Kinderdijk.

Great location. Walkable from central train station if you don't mind walking a bit. I felt safe at night walking the relatively busy streets. Well located for easy walking distance in and around city centre. Room was clean spacious and well stocked, well insulated as the room was surprisingly quiet given its location. Staff were friendly, helpful and genuine.

Unfortunately I do not recommend this hotel. We were not able to sleep due to the air being absolutely stale and hot in the room. If you opened the window, the street was super loud, in fact even with the windows closed it was noisy.

Nice hotel, convenient for my work but not much else in immediate area. There is a bus stop directly outside that can get you to most local towns and to AMS airport. We stayed here in the 3rd of October for the Festival celebrations. The hotel is a lovely old traditional property with original details etc. We stayed in the top room (no2) which was basic but clean and adequate for our needs.
