Hotel Erasmus

In not a fan of sprung mattresses, but the rooms were clean and good value for money... Character and a decent room.

Would have rated much higher of there was water in the morning! Apologies made by staff when checking out, saying it was resolved... But salt much too late. Was very disappointed no offer to compensate was offered.

When we arrived, the room was really dirty. Used paper tissue behind the broken refrigerator, dirty floor, breadcrumbs in the nightstand drawer, hair under the blanket. We asked for cleaning when we saw all of it, and they did clean a little. The bathroom's tiles are covered with mildew, broken lights, no trashcan in the room. When we left, we couldn't pay with bankcard, because the terminal's connection was also broken and we had to go to ATM.

The only good thing was about this hotel it's location.

Can't and won't recommend to anyone, unless you want to spend your time in a dirty hotel.

Slept there for two night. Beds are fine, most of the room was clean. Despite that, a lot of stuff was broken (light in the bathroom, doorknob, shower door) and there was a (probably unused, but still) boxer short in the cupboard. Also, the hotel cannot provide breakfast.

First night I wanted to take a shower that I saw bath tub had only one door while it was supposed to have two door. When I was under shower the only bath tub's door fell on my shoulder. I got off my room and went to the reception and asked him the explanation that why it's happened. He told me the door was broken by the morning and they didn't have time to fix it. I was shocked and told him when the room is ready they must not give it to me. The door could fall on my head and make something more serious. Another thing is they don't have AC while on my voucher it says it has. First night the room had a fan but when he change my room next day, it didn't have fan. Other problem is the second room I was given didn't have access to WiFi.
