The hotel's location is great, but the service was a bit slow. Parking is available in the B2 underground garage, but there's no direct elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up one floor, which is quite inconvenient. Breakfast on the M floor was just okay; the fruit selection was poor – overripe watermelon, very sour pomelo, and decent cantaloupe. Room cleanliness was subpar, with noticeable black stains on the pillowcase. The bathtub drain was clogged, so I had to turn off the water frequently while showering to let it drain.

I recently stayed at City Seasons Hotel Muscat and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel has a fantastic location in the Al Khuwair area of Muscat — it’s close to restaurants, shops, and malls, and easy to explore the city from here. 
The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the essential amenities like coffee/tea facilities, good storage space, and a large TV. I especially appreciated the friendly and helpful staff at reception and housekeeping; they made check-in smooth and were always ready to assist. 
Breakfast was quite good, with a wide variety of options, and the rooftop swimming pool with a nice view was a refreshing bonus.  There are also plenty of dining choices just outside the hotel, which made it convenient to explore local food and cafes.

I watched an old YouTube video before booking at this hotel but it must have gone seriously downhill since that video was made.
Breakfast was absolutely awful and made me and my son very sick for the entire during duration of the stay. Never got to see Oman due to being ill.
I requested a refund after the first night but the hotel, twice refused.
Car park is under the hotel. It’s dark and very tight and smells awfully of sewerage.
Initially given a room on the inside of the building with no view except other walls. It felt like a prison. That room smelt very badly of urine. The whole corridor (floor 3) was difficult to walk down as the floor is damaged under the carpet. We requested to move and was moved to floor 4 which was better however the room was still not up to hygiene standards. We at least had a view. I am actually shocked to see which positive reviews as it is a million miles from the truth.
Bathroom is tiny.
At around 11pm each night, a waste disposal tanker visits the hotel and parks up outside to suck waste from the hotel (presumably). As the hotel has no soundproofing, it is impossible to sleep. 4 tankers visited last night between 11pm-3am. The busy nearby highway is also noisy.
Staff are unhelpful and look depressed in their jobs.
I can not recommend this hotel AT ALL. Please book elsewhere and do not ruin your holiday like we did.

The hotel staff were generally very friendly and helpful.
The hotel's location is excellent, with many restaurants, hookah bars and supermarkets nearby.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, large and varied.
My room on the fifth floor was large and very quiet, even though the hotel is located on a busy street.
The rooms could do with an update, especially the bathrooms, which have seen better days.
It is also not possible to watch a film on free TV in the evening; after about 4 minutes, the signal drops out, and if you are lucky, it comes back in 5-10 minutes. And this happens again and again.
If you need to check in early, you have to pay more than 50% of the daily rate, so keep your eyes open or book an extra day in advance.

We truly enjoyed a week in this hotel. Location is superb, beach is in walking distance. Huge hypermarket next door and another one across the street. You can also find a bus stop very close by and experience a shopping trip to Ruwi.
Good restaurants in the area. Gym was good but the pool area was amazing, very calm, stunning views and pool big enough for proper swim. Extra plus for the shoe cleaner in every floor 😊

Great location, great staff and amazing facilities! Gym was awesome along with the steam and sauna. Great choice of breakfast catering for all. Supermarkets next door in both directions and plenty of food places within a couple of minutes walk. Thank you for a great stay and would definitely come back when I come to Muscat again.

It happend to be my son birthday and we were anxious to celebrate it with a delicious and overwhelming cake. We placed an order for a blackforest custom printed cake exclusively. We ended up paying 45.000 OMR for a 2kg printed cake and thought its worth doing so.
The irony about the delicacy was horrible and totally disappointed. Besides the print requested was awesome. But what can one do for a cake not being a cake...the base of the cake was horrible. This is for the notice of alkhwair manager: Not to undermine on spoil your reputation. When you cant promise the taste no point in decorating with diamonds..
