This is a great hotel, primarily because of its convenient location. It's super close to all the major shopping malls, within walking distance, which is a huge plus. Don't underestimate this convenience; Muscat generally isn't designed for pedestrians, so being able to walk places is fantastic. Seriously, DO NOT take a taxi from the hotel! You'll get ripped off! A taxi hailed outside costs 2 local currency (around 40 RMB), but the hotel charges 10 local currency (around 200 RMB) for the same ride. Always confirm the price before getting in! I got scammed, and it completely ruined my otherwise great impression of Oman. The hotel taxi service at the end just spoiled everything!

Good hotel for short stay, not so great location but good option in budget hoteling

Our second stay, this time in a smallish room (Serai) but with an unobstructed view of pool, gardens and sea. Comfortable bed, great service all around, very good breakfast. Large gardens, 3 pools, several restaurants - a great place to stop before/after touring this beautiful country.
