ibis Styles Kraków Centrum in Krakow

I stayed at Ibis Styles Krakow Centrum for 6 nites & we booked 2 rooms and was very disappointed with both the dining experience and the room cleanliness.

At the restaurant, we ordered two pork dishes—one was fine, but the other was undercooked near the bone. After informing the waitress, we were given a replacement, but it had the same issue. When I asked if the chef had been told, she said yes and explained the chef’s reasoning: “most people don’t eat that part, so it’s okay.” I was shocked by this response and spoke with the chef myself. He repeated the same thing and didn’t even apologize. Serving undercooked pork and dismissing the concern is both irresponsible and unacceptable.

Room cleaning was also terrible. After housekeeping, the toilet still had a lot of hair and the shower drain was clogged. No one cleaned it until I complained to reception. The staff member who came to clear it acted annoyed, even though it was clearly a cleanliness issue that should’ve been handled earlier.

The hotel has been recently renovated, which is nice, but service and hygiene need serious improvement. Would not recommend based on my experience.
