Pestana Ocean Bay, All Inclusive Resort in Funchal

Everything was okay, except the drain in the sink was clogged; but water was still flowing.

We had already stayed in Funchal in 2024, and while we enjoyed it, it wasn't at this hotel. This experience was fantastic, with the hotel staff being incredibly attentive. The room was spacious and had a sea view. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Funchal, which we didn't need as we rented a car, but it's definitely a valuable amenity.

The experience at Pestana Ocean Bay was quite pleasant. The staff were always very friendly and attentive, always helping when needed. They definitely have a team that cares about the guest, is attentive, and empathetic. I felt very welcomed. In a questionnaire I completed mid-stay, I mentioned that the buffets could have grapes (this is because my daughter really likes them, and grapes were a fruit that hadn't yet emerged). I made this observation thinking it wouldn't even be read. However, the next day, when we arrived in our room, we had a beautiful plate of grapes. At that moment, we felt welcomed, as if we were at home. It was a gesture of care that touched us. Congratulations on this and for actually reading the questionnaires, which we often think no one will read and care about what's written there. They are well organized, presented, and manage everything involved in a stay: meals, evening entertainment, outings/tours, etc.

good location

It really is very good, the employees are friendly, the food is very good, very quiet and EVERYTHING is good.
We can't wait to go back.

I rented it for one night. the room on the 1st floor had a hammock, very nice. All inclusive was provided nicely.
