Just returned from a night at the Wider. Absolutely wonderful. The staff, service, food, rooms, decor—everything was fantastic! They went above and beyond to accommodate our food intolerances, which was greatly appreciated. Complimentary gifts upon arrival and a special birthday treat in our room to celebrate. We can't wait to go back.

We usually stay in the Clayton Charlemont but we had a Blue Book voucher so we thought we'd see what the higher (double) price bracket brought to the table. The answer: very well thought out decor and lighting, 24/7 bar, a better quality breakfast, and always available, very attentive staff. I thought there would be more hotel to luxuriate and relax in but there was just the bar/dining area. The outdoor seating looked nice but it was late December! There was mention of a Garden Room on the website but I didn't see it. A positive experience overall, which made me think how poorly thought out the lighting is in your average hotel, but you'll get far better value nearby. However, If you need a 24/7 bar and/or would like to impress a potentially significant other, this is the place.

Lovely small hotel very close to the centre of Dublin. Approx 15 min walk from St Stephens Green. Nice size rooms, comfortable beds. Breakfast is a highlight. Rarity to have free parking on site. Have been twice and would go again when in Dublin!

Cute hotel. Rooms were not well appointed - no closet or space to get comfortable

Room was comfortable and spotless. I love the V & A china in the room from an exhibition on Alice in Wonderland. Quite a step up from the usual mugs! Breakfast is spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’ve returned there several times and highly recommend it!

What a great Hotel, I can’t fault anything really and my sleep App confirmed that I had a very good nights sleep. The staff were very professional while being welcoming and polite. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had! I would highly recommended this Hotel if you want a little luxury within walking distance of the centre of Dublin.

Disappointing customer service and facilities in room.

Baring 4 hangers, our room had no storage. No wardrobe, no drawers, no shelves in the bathroom... We were forced to live out of a our bag for the duration of our stay. This is not acceptable in a hotel of this standing.

Furthermore, the customer service was lacking and inconsistent at best. Our room was not serviced during our stay, despite us staying multiple nights. We had a turn down service one night, but not the others.

Check in and out was very transactional. Just about us paying the bill and leaving. Clara checked us out, didn't enquire as to our stay, whether we enjoyed the hotel or had any feedback. Just here's your bill, pay and leave.

It has the potential to be lovely, but it really was a disappointing stay. I would not recommend

The hotel was truly excellent -- quiet, central, high ceilings, good aircon, good wifi. Free gin and tonic at the bar is a nice touch

Pros:
- Location - quiet street in proximity to town
- Nice building facade and breakfast room
- Very good breakfast and selection of free snacks in room; welcome gin and tonic on arrival
- Staff very friendly
- High end shower products

Cons:
- Rooms are tiny and cramped and starting to wear a bit around the edges - we didn’t even have the smallest room size - it was hard to believe something smaller existed!
- Only light bites/ bar snacks served outside of breakfast which were quite disappointing, shame not to make more of the nice setting

Amazing hotel and staff. Fantastic breakfast. Great, quiet area short walk from St Stephens Green. 10/10 would recommend!!!

My wife has worked there. The staff is polite with customers but rude between themselves. The team is too much arrogant and don't respect the manager, she got it out of hand. It's a place not recommended to work in. A gang of assholes!

Nicest Matcha Latte I've had!!! So fluffy and velvety!

The thing that you call curry.... stop calling it in this way. THIS food what you have it's not curry. Totally bland, overcooked bland rice, only some chicken stock with some chilli... that is it. not recommended.

Small and cosy. Friendly staff. Good deals. Free wifi. Good for working on laptops. Can be very busy at times but queues move quickly

Good food, efficient staff, free WiFi. It's always busy at lunchtime but the queues move quickly. The food is reasonably priced but the cold drinks are expensive. Good location.

Friday night is not crowded and the dj had a fun selection with trashy, pop and classics. Food is ok. Try the cherry old fashioned! ;)

Nice decor and smartly decorated. Architecturally unique for a Dublin pub as it has three different levels and satellite bars. It is a nice location along the grand canal. Seems to be a "yuppie " place.
