Hotel Grand Central in Singapore

I initially thought the room would be small, but once I got in, it felt pretty good. It wasn't too cramped for three people. The facilities were complete, the service attitude was great, and it's close to Orchard Road and the MRT, making it very convenient for getting around.

Near Somerset MRT station. Walking distance just 5 mins. Behind Concorde hotel.

They allowed me to check in early, which was great. The location is super convenient for getting around, with both the MRT and bus stops nearby. Plus, it's easy to find places to eat and shop, which makes sense since it's right by Orchard Road. The price was pretty reasonable, especially for Singapore.

Location was good with the excellent MRT transport system easily accessed. Orchard Road and its various shopping experience nearby too. Accommodation was a bit dated but comfortable. Didn't use ghe restaurant or pool. Overall a pleasant stay.

I found it to be clean but the service at a restaurant needs improvement as they are not attentive.

Getting around was quite convenient. I arrived late at night, and the night guard just stood there watching me struggle with three large suitcases, not even offering to lend a hand. Luckily, the gentleman working the next morning was very lively and enthusiastic.

The room experience was the biggest downside of this stay: it was unexpectedly small, making me wonder if it was even the room type I booked. The most uncomfortable part was the layout; there was no window next to the bed. The window was located at the other end of the room, severely limiting both natural light and ventilation. What's more frustrating is that I never really understood the concept of a 'room at the end of the hall' before, but now I fully get why people dislike them.

However, aside from the room and the night guard, there wasn't much else to complain about: the room was very clean, and the housekeeping staff were all friendly. The hotel also provided water dispensers, which was convenient and thoughtful—they paid attention to small details.

But honestly, a 1000+ hotel that feels pretty much like a 100 one domestically is quite disappointing. 😅

The room was great – clean, quite spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. The location is excellent too, right on the famous Orchard Road, which makes getting around super convenient.

Everything was ok, but the only thing wasn't ok was the television which I totally couldn't start, and is a bit disappointed, the air con wasn't cold enough also,

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The beds are so comfy and with weighted blanket. The room is clean and another plus point is it has a water dispenser which is really convenient. The location is excellent as it is near MRT stations and bus stops. We were able to check-in earlier than published check-in time without additional fee. All the hotel staff are also very friendly and helpful especially the uncle who is manning the luggage drop off area. Will definitely book this again when I get back to Singapore.
