Charming hotel in a great location. The room was small, but I understand this is quite normal in Singapore. The bathroom was a bit uncomfortable due to its size, and the hot water was a bit tricky — sometimes it ran out after just a couple of minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they assisted us with our taxi driver, which we really appreciated.

My brother stayed here and had a great experience. The shower had very strong water pressure, the location was close to everything, and the fridge was stocked with plenty of complimentary items. Overall, a great stay!

We chose The Sultan Hotel in Singapore for its great location and relatively good value for money, and overall we had a pleasant stay.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was stable throughout our visit.
A couple of small downsides: there was no bidet spray/hygienic shower in the bathroom — it looked like the plumbing was there, but the hose wasn’t connected.
Also, our room had almost no natural daylight. It was on the first floor, with thick blinds on the window, and the view faced a wall, so the room felt a bit dark.
Despite these minor issues, it’s a solid option if you want a well-located, reasonably priced stay in Singapore.

I had a pleasant stay at The Sultan Singapore. The hotel blends heritage charm with modern comfort, and the room was clean and cozy. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location in Kampong Glam was convenient for food, shopping, and sightseeing.

A great choice in Singapore, very close to downtown with lots of dining options nearby. I especially loved that there are so many Turkish restaurants close to the hotel. A metro station is a 10 minutes walk away. The staff are friendly. My room was on the first floor, a bit small but beautiful and clean, with such a high ceiling! The hotel is an old historic building, the exterior and interior decoration make you feel like you traveled back in time. Will definitely stay here again

This is our second time staying at The Sultan, the location is great as it’s close to many bus stops, and about 13 mins walk away from the train station, and just 5 mins walk away from Haji Lane.
Our room got upgraded from the Sultan room to the Puteri room and we were very grateful for it.
The only thing was that because it’s a heritage building, the sound insulation is not the best, however if you can sleep through it then it’s fine because the room is clean & spacious.

A nice place to chill. The set meal ($33.90) is value-for-money and comes with soup, pita and garlic bread, one main dish, a drink and dessert.

Great little spot on Arab street. Stop here with a colleague for Turkish coffee and baclava. Nice friendly staff and pleasant location that is not so crazy.

Food was very good. Staff consisted of a family who were welcoming. Service was fine, although not too professional as our order was mixed up and not taken down properly.
