For this price, don't expect too much from the cleanliness. Lower your expectations, and you might find it just about okay.

The pros: It's close to the Rainbow Police Station, Fort Canning Park, and the Little India temple. Public transport and MRT stations are a guaranteed 10-minute walk away, and there's a 7-Eleven within 5 minutes. Even though it was hot and we were tired in the afternoon, the kids still had energy, so we let them go to the pool. It's small, which is good, and not too deep, so I just relaxed on a lounge chair while they had a blast all afternoon. Clarke Quay is right next door.

Cleanliness is just average, and the rooms are small. Next time, if I increase my budget slightly, I'd stay at the Ascott Roberson House nearby.

The room was tiny, and there was no duvet, so I absolutely froze at night. The air conditioning was so noisy it was impossible to sleep. Service was non-existent; they didn't sort out the noise issue even after I complained about it for a whole day. I measured the noise at 70 decibels, and they just said 'it's fine' and walked away. The front desk was completely unhelpful. Definitely avoid this place!

Also, be aware that once you book, you can't cancel or modify it, which I believe is illegal under China's Consumer Rights Protection Law.

I really loved staying at Robertson Hotel—the view is beautiful, the vibes are positive, and the reception staff (Myanmar)are very warm ,welcoming and helping 😊.Room is clean great location with beautiful view .

The hotel is old and poorly maintained, a pity as It is located in a prime Central Area. The checkin team member was very helpful and helped us to change from our 2 rooms to a family room ❤️

The location is absolutely fantastic! You can walk to Fort Canning Park, and Clarke Quay is right next door, which gets really lively at night with a whole street of bars and late-night food. It's also not far from the MRT. On our first day, we took a cable car to Sentosa Island and used GRAB for the round trip, but after that, we mostly used the MRT for getting around. For Singapore, this price is really affordable!

Second time at this hotel,, although this time the process of checking in is different from first time as the receptionist to take a photo of confirmation number on booking page on trip .com app ,
the view from room 805 is magnificent and significant ✍️

Pros:
Perfect location. MRT, Bus stops, food places convenient stores are closeby. Walking distance to clarke quay and boat quay.

Cons:
Hotel is between average and below average. Limited amenities, we were given bath towels as bathroom mat. Bathroom had mold everywhere. Aircond leaked when turned off and funnily the walls and floor become wet and moist when turned off. Doesn’t have proper security. Anyone from basement can go up to any level, so be careful with your belongings.

The location is good, but I changed hotels because the internet was bad. We stayed here for three days, and the rooms were a bit cold and the bedspreads were inadequate. The internet signal in the lobby was good, but unfortunately, the internet in the rooms was poor

Decent mussels and nice atmosphere by the river. Frites were not up to Belgian standards, but still good. Service had a few issues - apparently they had a new runner who kept confusing tables - but they were dealt with swiftly and with a good sense of humour.

A tad overpriced, but that goes with the territory in Robertson Quay.

Generally good food. Quick, attentive and friendly service. Riverside ambience is very nice but be warned... even the indoor seating does not have efficient air conditioning.

A couple misses.
Service: Our order of mussels showed up as clams, but we didn't want to send it back and ate it anyway
Product: Some of those clams were quite sandy! We ate it anyway as well

The happy hours deal is amazing! We like our 1-for-1 beer deal. Service is just okay and since we were in the outdoor seats, it was quite humid and hot. Plenty of seats available so great for big crowd.
