The hotel have a very smelly smell in the whole building, tiny room, you barely can move. The bed is so soft until you step on it and it immediately sinked. The toilet is so small and you can only sit on the toilet bowl while shower else you don’t even have a place to stand. The hotel upgraded us to a family room which they said it should be charge, but they gave us free upgrade. Appreciate that, but it can’t help the smell of the hotel. I complaint it to trip.com again and they help to communicate with the hotels unfortunately the hotel replied I can check out early but no refund, what’s the point of this complaint then? I didn’t expect to have this experience especially in Singapore. Everything for my trip was good, except the hotel spoiled everything.

Great, clean and comfortable. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The bar nearby reduces the music sound just at the right time in the midnight for us and the nearby residents to sleep.

The location is very convenient, with a nearby station and easy access to major tourist spots within about 15 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I especially appreciated being able to borrow an adapter for my European plug.
The room was small but sufficient for one person and equipped with the essentials. The air conditioning worked well. However, the room felt a bit worn and not as well-maintained compared to other hotels. There was a slight cigarette smell upon arrival, which improved after turning on the air conditioning.
One downside was the noise — the room was not soundproof, and I could hear conversations from the hallway. There was also noticeable noise outside early in the morning. Light sleepers may want to consider other options.

A great hotel with a convenient location—close to the MRT and surrounded by plenty of food options. I booked it as soon as I arrived in Singapore, and luckily there were still rooms available. Everything was really good, highly recommended!

A very recommended hotel, located in the heart of Chinatown, it is such a strategic location. The hotel is near food street & MRT. So it is easy to go anywhere and choose anything you want to eat. The staffs are so friendly! The room is also clean with complete amenities. If I have to say one bad thing about this hotel is that it is not soundproof so if the street is noisy then you will hear it full volume from the room.

Overall, the stay was pretty good. However, if you’re a light sleeper or tend to sleep early, I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s a bar next door that plays loud music until around midnight.

When I checked in, I witnessed another guest making a complaint about the noise. The front desk had already offered him a room change, but he was still unhappy. The situation escalated, and they ended up arguing right in front of me.

Friendly staff but single room is quite small but location is perfect, very close to China Town, just 5min walk from Hotel. We went to the food court and the chicken rice was delicious and coffee tastes good as well.

The Hotel is not like the pictures. It’s very outdated and needs some care.

First room we’ve got was had mold. I understand the climate in Singapore is very humid, but it just felt very unhygienic due to the outdated, much used, moldy room.

I am giving 3 stars because they were not being difficult about switching rooms. Got a cleaner bigger room, still outdated but it was cleaner than the other one.

Location is good!

Although the room was small, it was very well-equipped, and it even had a small outdoor balcony. What really stood out was the complimentary drinks and bottled water, which many more expensive hotels don't even offer. It's excellent value for money!

Best seller cold noodles was bland. $35 spicy pork cabbage only had a few slices of meat. Not recommended at all! Very disappointing especially when we had to pay $80 for the meal.

Small restaurant but serves some of the best quality Chinese cuisine. Their fish and the way they cook it is so delicious. The Irish duck is yummy and so are many other dishes. Was there twice last Chinese New Year and all my family and friends were impressed.

Great place for large and small group. They have a small private space too.
