Hotel Grand Pacific in Singapore

I stayed at this hotel for a total of four nights. The first three nights were consecutive, and this last night was booked separately. As I mentioned in my previous review, the hotel upgraded my room. According to Singapore hotel policy, check-out is at 11 AM and check-in is at 3 PM. On the evening of the 31st, I went to the front desk to ask about checking in for the 1st. The front desk told me that I would need to check out on the morning of the 1st, store my luggage at the front desk, and then check in again at 3 PM, because our room had been booked by a family of three who reserved a triple room. I looked troubled and said it was too much hassle, explaining that in my home country, you wouldn't need to check out if you were staying consecutively. The front desk explained that it was indeed due to no availability, and they had to accommodate the family who booked the triple room. I still didn't want to check out. The front desk thought for a moment, told me to wait, and after some operations on the computer, said that I wouldn't need to check out this time; she would arrange an extra bed for the family of three, but that I couldn't do this again in the future. I quickly thanked her. So, the hotel service is genuinely excellent; they really solve problems for guests, unlike some reviews suggest. But the prerequisite is that you also need to respect the staff, don't be rude or make a scene!

The service and location is good, money to value. But can’t expect too much. Because the building is abit old.

The location is perfect for shopping area near like Bugis junction, Bugis plus, and Bugis street. Highlight recommended.

Recommend for families traveling. Abundance of breakfast and hotel facilities truly amaze our expectations. Near Bugis food street and 2 Big MRT Line, Yellow and Interchange for Blue Line and Green Line.
Convenient for traveling with MRT, we just spend not more than 10 buks for 3 day.. so please consider this Accomodations as your itinerary next time.

Hotel staff were friendly, good hospitality, location is good, very close to Bugis Street and MRT.

Not a good experience. Hotel is not properly maintained and have bad smell in the air.

Was given low floor (5th) and when requested for high floors, was told bluntly hotel is fully booked and could not change, which found out later was not true.

Nevertheless, since hotel refusedvto change to higher floor room, has to checkin to the 5th floor room. To my horror, found the room not property cleaned and a dead crocoches lying on the floor of the bath room and have to demand the hotel to change the room. Hotel agreed and moved to higher floor room.

Location was good near to mrt. Hotel food was good as we had the buffet dinner. Staffs was friendly and helpful.
