The cheapest room does not match the photos, Yugoslavian renovation. Water was leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom. But overall the room is clean, bed linen and towels are clean, the air conditioner works, the refrigerator works. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It was quiet at night, I slept well. Suitable for undemanding guests.

It's just fine to spend a night or two here maximum. It's very dated, but clean. The location is not that convenient since the hotel is far from both city centre and Prokop train station. I didn't try the breakfast, so unable to evaluate it.

Still standing This is a very classical hotel, looking like old movies. Very close the many attractions. Despite the fact that I was there on September, the air conditioning was not enough and the room was deadly hot. The cleaning needs are above the cleaning staffs capabilities. It needs a good painting and renewing. Breakfast is good.

I stayed at a large room with three bed. The room was very clean and warm in winter. In addition, this hotel is located in covienient area(Slavia plaza, from which airport shuttle bus leaves) .Also, supermarket is near here.

Perfectly good, comfortable old hotel The Slavija is an admirable monument to the Yugoslavia of old, and with that it is a little tired. It is however, easy to get to, comfortable and clean and has a good breakfast, so very much what we'd hoped for when needing a last minute stay in Belgrade. For a night in the city before heading to the airport, you could do worse.

Checked in again a year later, and as always, the front desk handled things quickly. Friendly and welcoming. China and Serbia are close friends. Specifically, the A1 bus to the airport is very close, just go downstairs.

Certainly a unique experience, very artsy, tv is so far away from the bed and so small it becomes hard to see. Had a few issues with the AC which i want to say were resolved? We were never given a follow up, other than that very nice stay with nice breakfast

The hotel was great and very close to the airport. I heard you can take a bus directly from the airport, but because it was snowing and I had a lot of luggage, I took a taxi instead, which cost about 3000 local currency. It was freezing outside, but the room was very warm. Juice and fruit were free downstairs. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I had a connecting flight there.

Booked this after my flight was cancelled at short notice. Excellently connected on the free bus line 72 between the airport and the city centre, though not much to see in the immediate area itself. Booked it because of the sauna and bathtub. There was a bit of a problem with warm water for bathtub. There wasn’t any just very lukewarm. Sauna is great, takes time to heat up but it does. Only bad thing is ..its in the basement, But for the price definitely for consideration

Great location, right in the city center, and it's a 20-minute walk to the free airport shuttle. However, during my four-day stay, room cleaning only happened once. If you don't want trash piling up, you have to take it out yourself.

The hotel is in the very city center with its own parking – the location is very good, I'd say the best in the city, and there is a parking lot just behind the hotel (check for reservation). The hotels is ok. The location is really central but you should take in mind that it is really noisy cause there is loud music from the cafes next to the hotel. The music stops approx 00:00, so it is not possible to sleep before that.

The hotel is well located, with a stop nearby for the A1 bus to the airport. We had some trouble checking in; we arrived at 12:00, but the receptionist wasn't there, so we had to call and wait. There was a very strong draft from the window (we stayed in January). If it's just one night, it's fine. For a longer stay, I'd recommend a different hotel.

This place has apts too. There is only about 6 hotels rooms. The woman on reception is only there from 9am - 3pm. But you can ring a number if you need anything. My my was very modern & clean. They will clean your room everyday, if you so wish, just like a hotel. It was so peaceful there. They even did my laundry there, for a fee of course. Would definately stay here again. It's a place for a budget overnight. They have an underground garage, that feels very narrow and risky to get to it. But hey, I did not scratch the car, so can you. To exit with the car is a bit of a hustle sine your only option is via Slavija roundabout, and that place is busy from 7 am till 8 pm so good luck.

This hotel was well located, safe, and plenty of food and drink options close by. Although there is a nostalgic charm, the hotel is clearly dated. If you want a well priced, comfortable central location without the frills, this would work. Reception helpful spoke English. Im giving this overall 4 stars based on value and location.
