Los Caribes 2 in Playa del Ingles

Positives: -Great location next to the Playa Ingles. -Supermarket nearby and also good restaurants close. -A warm pool with sunbeds in the garden -Good personal service with nice staff -Fresh apartment with a good view from the balcony -Excellent air conditioning to cool the apartment when needed - Bus stops very close to the apartment. - Very calm place to stay were everyone seems to follow the rules during our stay Negatives: -Hard bed -Slow WiFi during the nights (maybe because everyone uses it at the same time)

First the good stuff from our first 2 weeks - apartment is well decorated and maintained - it is kept scrupulously clean, as is the whole site - basic cooking equipment and utensils are provided ie pots ,pans , toasted sandwich maker ( no toaster) good microwave and fridge freezer Bed is firm but comfortable, Location is excellent beach, bars, restaurants and small supermarkets all close by 2 minor maintenance issues were sorted within the hour. Noise is no more than one would expect in a busy resort and has not once been a problem for us. The street facing apartment we occupy has a large patio with plenty of sun from 10 till dusk. On the downside, WiFi is problematic, ok during day, but very poor reception during evenings Tv has CNN News and that is only English Channel Our Apartment no2 is on small side with little storage space Cooking and food preparation area is small Apartment has its own hot water heater which is probably too small, showering needs to be done quickly with a 15/20 min wait between each shower, but water is quick to reheat. There is a 15 euro per week charge for the safe which in our opinion is unwarranted. Overall the downsides are more annoying than critical Would we recommend -yes , would we rebook - yes but for us it would need to resolve the WiFi issues
