Just arrived home after 2 weeks at Bull Escorial. 2 weeks constant listening people kicking football on the fence, from 8 in the morning until 22. I you are looking for peace and quality time, this hotel is not for you. We'll never go to any Bull hotel again. Manchester Mark

We loved our stay at Bull Escorial and will absolutely consider returning. Our room was on 7th Floor #720 and despite my partner’s concerns about how high it was they were soon put to bed. Room was spotlessly clean, of a good size & very well maintained with a modern feel. We had a good size balcony with a decent view.Towels were changed regularly and bed sheets were changed at least once during our stay. There was a safety deposit box in the room for which we paid €14 for the week which we thought is reasonable. Cleaners worked tirelessly on a daily basis and to a high standard. We were all inclusive and the selection of drinks/cocktails included were more than sufficient we felt. We are not the fussiest of eaters but we think the food at breakfast, lunch & dinner was very good with ample selection, of a good temperature and always being replenished. Staff were lovely and friendly again working very hard. We didn’t have to rush to get a bed by the pool with there often being plenty available even pitching up well after 10am. The no reserving of beds/beds not being used for an unreasonable period of time was well policed by the lifeguard(s). There are also plenty of beds around the corner from pool which seemed like a right sun trap. We did venture onto the roof terrace but when we did there were no beds available being a much smaller area I suspect you need to be very on the ball to get a bed there. We only saw 3 nights of entertainment which consisted of 2 female singers(who were decent enough), some dancers/acrobats which was very good and then our last night was the carnival night which was excellent. The 2 animation in the day were friendly and encouraged participation without going over the top. The gym was excellent and almost worthy of being a gym in it’s own right certainly 1 of the if not the best we’ve come across at a hotel. The free spa was excellent in particular the indoor pool and the flotarium which was a great place to relax. The games room available was a bonus and a couple of evenings we played snooker & bowling by paying a deposit(think it was €15) at reception for the snooker balls & bowling key respectively. We also played crazy golf again via a deposit at reception and whilst pretty basic was still enjoyable. The staff throughout including reception, restaurant, bars & cleaners were excellent and just wanted to make our time the most enjoyable it could be. It happened to be my birthday while we were there and the bottle of wine & card left in our room was a nice touch and very much appreciated. A couple things some may wish to consider is that the guests in the main are older(it’s not often at 53 I reduce the average age these days) and also Brits seem to be in the minority most common nationality appeared to be German. Not that anybody goes away to watch TV but we checked what channels were available and there did not seem to be any English channels at all. That said these things did not detract from our sta

First time at this hotel and will not be our last. We arrived early as got through the airport quickly and our room was already ready so we got straight in. We were given our wristband and told we still had time for lunch so we dropped the cases off and got some lunch. The hotel was spotless and looked more like a 4 star than a 3 star hotel. Our room was a good size with a a view of the mountains and we were on the top floor so it was lovely. When we were there it was during the storm so a lot of the outdoor activities were halted but the team put on some activities in the hotel. I can't fault what they did. So no faults with the rooms but as has been said before the bath towels were on the small side but not a big deal at all. The food was fresh, great selection and varied throughout the week. Yes there were dishes that were repeated but it was a buffet and more than adequate. Te drinks were great and even though we were all inclusive the prices were very reasonable that we saw on the app. I'm not a fan on evening entertainment but we stayed a few nights and it was pretty good and entertaining and the festival themed ones were amazing. We didn't use the spa but it looked really relaxing. The staff were all amazing, friendly and hardworking. The location was perfect to pick up local busses, the neach and some of the shops. It was on the flat and accesible for people with limited mobility. Even though you were close to a duel carriageway you didn't really hear it unless the balcony doorswere open. All in all we were extremely happy with the hotel and what it offered, we arealready looking at booking again, and yes not many Brits we could tell but it didn't matter at all, we were catered for and staff were able to communicate with us with no problems. I honestly can't think of any negatives that would put us off recommending and returning to the hotel. Thank you for a great week despite the weather! But if you do want to offer us a free week to compensate us we won'r say no! ha! ( just joking)

Good hotel in a nice area.Very few people from the UK at this hotel.Rooms are nice but the view from a lot of the rooms are terrible.Book a high floor as they are better.Food is okay breakfast is better than the dinner, lots of choice. The cleaning is excellent, maids do a great job.The towels need upgrading as small and thin.Roof top sun bathing area is good but you have to get up early our beds will all be taken.Entertainment in the evening is awful we had to go out every night.Acrobats are not what we want to see.The gym is very good.

Second visit here in the last 6 months but I wasn’t so impressed this time. Rooms are excellent, large with excellent storage and big balconies. Wellness centre is excellent- very clean with lots of resources. Hotel is clean and well looked after by a well trained and happy staff- all were very friendly and helpful Hotel is well located The clientele is mainly German and Dutch with very few English My only criticism is the quality of the food - it seemed bland and lacking in taste and often meats were very chewy indicating poor quality. We were all inclusive but ate out a few times Not sure if I would now return as the food was an issue- previously stayed at HL Suites up the road ….. they have an excellent outdoor BBQ where fresh meat etc is cooked on the spot… maybe something the Escorial could copy?

Afteran absence of a couple of years, I returned recently for a week's stay at the Escorial Hotel in Playa del Ingles. It was a thoroughly successful experience. The generally positive feeling was, of course, not without any connection to unseasonably warm weather and sunshine during the whole week. But the hotel's performance was also a factor. The hotel's generous rooms were modernised and nicely decorated, with their large balconies andfull-sized bathrooms. There was a modern walk-in shower with plenty of pressure and hot water. The bed was reasonable - if not luxurous. Room furniture was comfortable and included a sizeable desk and a large fridge for my own drinks. There was air con, excellent wifi and a TV with several English-language channels. Also plenty of hanging and storing space for clothes. There was no electeric kettle in the room, but the hotel kindly lent me one for a 10-euro deposit. Downstairs was nicely decorated with a friendly lobby bar whose staff worked hard to keep everyone happy. Evening entertainment was good to middling. The dining room was full the week I visited, but the wait and kitchen staff coped well. Tables were generally cleared quickly a well as politely. As on my previous visits, breakfast was efficient and varied. Dinner was even better, with enough variety to satisfy most guests (including me). The range of salads each day was generous; the after-dinner cheese and fruit was better the the desserts. Outdoors the pool area was friendly and not over-crowded, and there was an additional, large grassed area with additional loungers behind the building that got the sun all afternoon. In addition there was the rooftop solarium, which gets sun from 9 to 5, and which had been improved by new flooring and wall panels. It was just about summer 'up on the roof'. Finally, the Escorial is offering much larger, more comfortable pool towels than in the past. Only thing I can ask for is a similar switch to larger, thicker bath towels. That would just about raise the Escorial to 4 stars!

Large hotel in a great location. The rooms are spacious with plenty of wardrobe space, large shower room with a lovely big shower, comfortable bed, huge fridge, safe & a large balcony. The staff are fantastic throughout the hotel & the hotel is exceptionally clean. The lifeguard keeps the pool area clean & there’s even a little bin under your sun lounger! The pool is lovely & in excellent condition. The bar staff are fantastic & there’s a great choice of drinks to choose from, if you order a spirit expect an extra large measure! There’s good daytime activities around the pool area & the evening entertainment has something for everyone. Although the lobby area where they show the entertainment doesn’t have enough seats & it’s a bit dark & dreary. The spa is free & as it’s in the basement it’s too dark so I didn’t use it. Breakfast is excellent with a really good selection of hot & cold options. The highlight being the freshly squeezed orange juice every day & omelettes made to order. All inclusive guests get lunch which was great, lovely salads & freshly cooked meats and fish. Dinner on the other hand was not as good, too much fried food, chips & boring pasta. But there was a themed food station every night which was ok. There’s also a great selection of cheese, desserts & ice cream. The restaurant was crowded at breakfast & at dinner you had to time it well to get a table, it was far too busy & not a pleasant experience. However, fewer guests are all inclusive so lunch is much nicer. As it’s a buffet restaurant all the guests are using the same spoons to serve themselves & a large majority of guests do not use the sanitiser provided at the entrance. Overall, it’s a great hotel & we had a lovely relaxing stay.

This was our third trip to Escorial on half board. We particularly enjoy the well-kept garden area with plenty of sunbeds ( with comfy mattresses) and umbrellas, the indoor pool and heated outdoor pool. The large rooms have extensive storage ( the best of any hotel we have stayed at), a large balcony and comfortable quality patio furniture but no tea making facilities. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and all members of staff were happy, helpful and professional. The breakfast provision is extensive with all the usual you would expect from a Spanish buffet breakfast. We particularly enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice but personally found the croissants small and doughy and there is no butter only margarine. At the evening buffet there is again a good choice of dishes and freshly cooked meat and fish. Coffee is also included at the evening meal. The drinks at the bar are very reasonably priced with a large beer being €2.40 and 2 for 1 in happy hour 8-9pm. There is also free water and fizzy water all day and evening including with your meal. Pool towels are available for €10 of which €9 is returned and €1 each time you change your towel. The only thing to be aware of is that we booked a twin room but were given a room with one large bed. This in itself was not a problem to us as it was a very comfortable mattress, however it had 2 single quilts on it which overlapped quite a bit making it annoying to sleep under, also as the quilts were not secured in the middle they tended to fall off the side of the bed. In my view, if it is one bed it should have one quilt. However, this would not stop us from returning and can recommend this hotel if you wish to stay in Plays del Ingles.

Rooms clean, plenty of clothes space, bed could be better as could towels which are only changed every other day. Food excellent apart from the watery tasteless soups. Drinks top quality branded spirits and quality Tropical local beer. Biggest downside was struggle to get a table for 3 at evening meal, not enough staff, you have to clear dirty plates and fetch clean cutlery yourselves Ideally situated 5 minutes walk to seafront

Staff very friendly and efficient,Rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday , towels are changed 3 times a week.Spa area is excellent and a added bonus .All inclusive drinks are major brands with no holding back on the measures.Food is decent and for a buffet they manage to keep the food hot , restaurant area can get very busy and crowded at times with tables packed close together.Pool was not the largest for the amount of guests . Entertainment was your normal hotel based entertainment which meant we went out for parts of the evening which was always our intention.Hotel is rated at 3 Star but it is better then that.

Just back from 10 days in Playa Del Ingles with hubby and 14yr old daughter. Tried a few places which were ok but Lady Pink was just the best. Especially the 2 Norgewian girls who worked at breakfast time!!!! Went there every morning thereon as the breakfast choice was faultless. The girls were so very friendly and chatty, nothing was a bother for them. Had a few evening meals there and carryout food too, nowhere else nearby could beat it. Highly recommended!!!! Thank you for making our holiday memorable!!!!
