Hotel Castillo in Benidorm

I stayed here as part of an event in Benidorm. I was surprised by quality of the rooms, with all the necessary amenities and every room has a spacious private balcony. I was even more surprised by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff; I ran into several complications during my trip including not one but several rebookings where I could not stay the nights I had booked; the staff was always helpful, and they helped me resolve everything, at no charge which they were very much in their rights to charge.
They are true hosts, who only want the best for the customer, more hotels and hotel owners should be like this.
To top it all off, the breakfast is legendary, with fresh squeezed orange juice and a huge selection.
Well deserved five stars!

Our first visit and we weren’t disappointed! Hotel Castillo is fantastic. Immaculately clean, wonderful breakfast and everything we needed. Very comfortable bed and despite being in the centre of town it was very quiet. Location was perfect for the Old Town and just a short taxi ride to Benidorm Palace which was the purpose of our visit. But the absolute highlight of our stay was meeting Maria. She was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return again as soon as possible! We can’t recommend this hotel enough!

We stayed for 1 night recently and what a fab little hotel. Rooms are modern, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was included in the price which was very reasonable. Ideally located and we were able to park our car outside. What really made our stay was Maria (the lady running the hotel) She was absolutely fantastic! She was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Clearly loves people and her job. Don’t be put off by the 1 star rating. The hotel is great and Maria just wonderful. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely be staying there again. Thank you Maria 🩷

Stayed here some years ago , it was good then and didn't disappoint this time. Very clean hotel, staff super friendly, 2 Brits on reception, food was delicious and lots of choice. Quiet for Halloween and mostly mature guests.

Excellent little hotel - really top quality customer service, really lovely and generous Spanish breakfast with fresh orange juice.
Small rooms but with lovely bathroom and balcony and excellent air con plus free safe.
The big hotels could learn a great deal by visiting this small place.

Great little hotel in old town. Wonderful welcome from Maria who is probably one of the best hotel managers I have ever come across. Really lovely Spanish breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Good location. Small but quiet and well equipped rooms with balcony. We will definitely use this fab hotel again when we return to Benidorm.

From the moment we stepped through the door, and were greeted by Maria, we knew that we were going to have a fantastic holiday. Everything regarding the Hotel was explained in detail, Nothing was too much trouble, and Maria & Emelio were the Perfect hosts.
The Hotel is very centrally located, just one block back from the Poniente Beach, close to Dove (Elche) Park.
The Hotel was always spotless, with rooms cleaned daily.
Breakfast is just superb! Everything was always so fresh, good portions that would keep you going until after lunch time, were always served with a big smile.
We have stayed in many hotels in Benidorm, many much larger than Hotel Castillo, but that is as much as we can say. None of the other Hotels can compare in Service provided, and sheer friendliness. We will never return to any other Hotel in Benidorm now that we have found Hotel Castillo. Thanks for a superb stay, we will definitely be back soon!

My wife and I have been visiting Benidorm for over 40 years, and I can confidently say that Hotel Castillo is a true gem. The staff, especially Emilio and Maria, are exemplary professionals who take great pride in their work. They go above and beyond to ensure all guest needs are met, from providing hair dryers and ironing boards to offering complimentary bottles of water. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy complementary tea, coffee and delicious cupcakes,.

The hotel's hygiene standards are exceptional—rooms are meticulously cleaned by Almudena, Fresh towels are provided daily, and overall cleanliness is maintained to the highest standard. The breakfast is outstanding, featuring freshly squeezed orange juice, a variety of fresh fruits, and warm croissants.

We will definitely choose Hotel Castillo for our future visits. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable!

This hotel is a hidden gem. Spotlessly clean with first class customer service. We have been visiting Benidorm for 15 years and this is one of the cleanest, friendliest hotels we have stayed in. Gorgeous Spanish style breakfast. Special thanks to Emilio & Maria. We highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

What a gem.
Spotlessly clean, super comfy beds,great aircon, super shower, great location, and breakfast wow,freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits, yogurt, Spanish ham,cheese, and tuna,tomatoes, fresh every day.
Maria even makes your toast.
Then,if that's not enough, there is a machine 24hrs for free cappuccino, tea,chocolate, and coffee black,or with milk.and cakes.
Chairs,umbrella, and towels provided free to take to the beach.
Can't believe this is a one star hotel 😍
I haven't had that much service in 4 star hotels ever.
Maria is an a 🌟 star,and asset to any company. So reasonable in july,still in shock .
