Hotel Puerto Sherry in El Puerto de Santa Maria

The reception is exquisite... the room is large, the terrace offers a beautiful view of the port and the atmosphere is so pleasant that you won't want to leave the room.

Stayed 2 nights as a solo traveller seeking a few days R&R from the road. Super quiet in March so a welcome room upgrade made this excellent value. Very helpful friendly staff, very chilled stay, lovely weather so marina location at its best. Superb beach 10mins walk away. Pleasant 45 min walk into Santa Maria town where you can jump on a ferry to Cadiz which takes 25 mins - cool way to visit an amazing town if you prefer a base outside there. A few restaurants in the marina - mostly looked good, but the marina and Santa Maria town very quiet in March as expected. Overall recommended if you don’t mind being a little outside of town.

Was a lovely hotel! The view out to over looking the bay with Cádiz I’m the background was lovely! Waking up in the morning to that will certainly be missed!

The staff were friendly and really helpful too. They did what they helped out as much as possible to get you what you everything you required.

We had a fantastic time staying at Hotel Puerto Sherry. We had a premium room with view of the marina which was beautiful no matter the time, day or night. Our room was large and spacious, with a wide bed, large balcony with space for 2 sun loungers and still space to walk around! The bathroom was in good condition, with a very comfy large bath.
The hotel is equally well kept and spacious throughout. The breakfast selection was maybe a little limited but perfectly adequate and filled us up till dinner time! The pool (indoor and outdoor) were clean and well kept and we enjoyed relaxing there.
The hotel is within the marina, providing excellent access to the boats. There are a handful of bars and restaurants around the marina but most things are a short taxi ride / walk away in Santa Maria.

Close to the see.
Attention : you need a car. And there are lots of abandoned buildings in this touristic area. But there is still enough to enjoy your stay.
