We loved the hotel; it's very quiet, with relaxing gardens and charming and attentive staff. It's a very well-kept old palace, reminiscent of a Parador in its decor and upkeep. Situated a 15-minute walk from the center of El Puerto de Santa María, it's within walking distance of the restaurants in the city center and just 10 minutes from Aponiente. If you're not driving, the train station is a 5-minute walk away.

Really nice hotel, with its own garden (next to the pool and restaurant) which by its size it could actually pass as a park. We had a Junior Suite that included a large bathroom with two showers, a bedroom, and a small living room; these last two with their own TV screens. The bed was large and comfortable, and there was enough space for our stuff in the closet. The pool was nice and clean, and located under the trees (so you wouldn't burn under the sun). Also we tried the restaurant once for breakfast and lunch, and we were really satisfied. The location of the hotel is also very convenient if you arrive by train (as we did) since it's 5 minutes walking from the station, but also really close to the attractions of the center of the town. Last but not least: The attention was top -Very friendly and efficient staff

5* joke Hotel so so, but not 5* hotel. Very old building, some parts nice. Poor service in restaurant, dirty swimming pool, no sunbeds. We have got recommendation to lay on grass. Terrible. Not for requested money. It was like when parents leave the House, and kids are taking care.

We booked the hotel from new year's eve until January 7, but when we arrived at the hotel 9 pm there were no lights and all doors were locked. We were in disbelief and circled around the hotel several times before admitting to ourselves that the hotel had closed for the holidays without any notice or warning. We managed finally to find another hotel close by for the rest of the night, no thanks to the hotel or ***********. We did get our money back from ***********, but the hotel had explained to them that they were overbooked and had to cancel because of it! Management who doesn't have the decency to inform clients about hotel closure and who lie to their distributor should not manage hospitality business, or any business at all with that kind of ethics.

I stayed at the hotel from 5th to 10th of June. The property is nice but no bar neither restaurant. Besides we booked a single double beed and we get two single beds. Gardens are nice but a three star if you consider everything.

This is a beautiful hotel. It's a large mansion where the Terry family lived, with adjacent wineries. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The garden has impressive trees and a beautiful outdoor pool.

Excellent paella and other rice dishes. Very reasonable lunch prices. The hotel and gardens are beautiful. We ate an outdoor table in a shady and cool spot in the garden area.
