The apartment which we were given at the end was spacious and comfortable, and despite small flaws of the holiday apartments complex, which seems to be owned by this one company, I would have given a high rate (The state of this holiday apartment complex was not perfect, for example only 1 out of 5 showers in the swimming pool area was working, the Jacuzzi was closed and not accessible during our whole stay, and the toilets in the swimming pool area were closed – if you needed to pee, you had to go back to the apartment). However! Unfortunately, I had to fight to get what I paid for. At the check-in we were told that we were “upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment, with the same standard as we paid for”, but in reality we were downgraded to much older, with low standard and simply dirty apartment (for example with stains on the bed cover and towels). After raising this mistake, we were offered to be transferred to a new apartment “with the higher standard” (so finally with the same standard as advertised and shown on the pictures of the offer) but with the additional extra fees to be paid by us.
At the end, we got an apartment of the standard which we paid for at the first place, but only after we referred to our rights and EU law.
Additionally, they provided us with the date and time of apartment cleaning when the cleaning service was supposed to also change the bed sheets and towels, which they didn’t respect. No one came to clean the apartment, with zero explanation. So on that day we ended up with dirty/humid towels (as knowing that the cleaning service would come, we gathered all the towels in the bath-tube to facilitate the work of the cleaning person). When we contacted the number provided during the check-in, the only solution which was proposed to us, was that WE drive to their office in the middle of our dinner to pick-up the clean towels. That person on the phone refused to come and provide us clean towels, just told us that he will wait 15 min for us to drive to their office.
All those situations left us with extremely negative impression and doubts about highly questionable practices of this rental company. It felt like we had to fight to get what we paid for and at the end we still didn’t get it, which is very unfortunate, because apartment itself was nice.
Too bad that the service is so terrible, because the way we were treated definitely negatively impacted our holidays not letting us fully relax, and for sure in the next years I will look for other places, to not come back here.
