Porcel Navas Hotel in Granada

If you are very sensitive to noise, this might not be the best place for you. But if you enjoy a charming, historic hotel in the heart of a pulsating city, and you don't go to bed early (or you don't mind wearing earplugs if you do), you can't do better than Palacio de los Navas. Built in the 16th century, it has a charm that evokes Spain's colonial days... this hotel would not be out of place in Oaxaca, for example. The rooms surround a central courtyard with a small fountain. Our room was very comfortable, with a modern bathroom, and was well priced. There are a dozen restaurants on the same street as the hotel.

Hotel is no more than a 30-minute walk to the major sites... but uphill! The #32 bus is cheap (1.60) and taxis are not much more (around 5.00)... so unless you enjoy a challenging hike, save yourself the walk. Buy your Alhambra tickets a month in advance; they sell out. (They do release a few tickets at midnight for the following day, so if you forget to book in advance, give it a try... worked for me.)

Fantastic location. On a famous lane full of nice restaurants. Very convenient to going around to all the interesting view points. Very friendly staff. One bus from airport and one tram to train station. Highly recommended!

Charming hotel with lovely rooms and a top notch friendly staff. The optional breakfast was quite nice as well.
This was our fifth hotel as we’ve travelled across southern Spain, and by far, our favorite.
The only downsides are the all-night weekend partying we could hear all night. And certain rooms, like ours, face a building under construction. So we did give the location a 4 instead of 5. But otherwise the location is extremely walkable and convenient to the Alhambra and the Mercado, with services and restaurant choices everywhere.

The location is excellent, nestled in an alley next to the City Hall. The most famous shopping street is right outside, and there are plenty of restaurants near the hotel. KFC is opposite the City Hall, and the bus stop is very close. Many attractions are within walking distance. The front desk service was excellent; thanks to Loios and Rocio for their help! Overall, the front desk service was very good! The room was clean and tidy, quiet at night, and the shower water pressure was excellent. The hotel facilities are new, and the price is very reasonable. The breakfast buffet at €10 was great! I would stay here again next time!

A very cost-effective hotel, highly recommended!

The sanitation and environment are very good, the room is bright and spacious, and there is no pressure to spread out two large suitcases.

The hotel is located on a small street in the old city, which is very convenient for visiting the old city. There are catering service stores around, which are very lively during the day, but very quiet after 11 o'clock in the evening.

According to Google Maps, you need to walk up a flight of stairs to find the hotel, but you can completely avoid the stairs by going around the side.

The location is very good, right outside is Grazia Avenue and Granada Cathedral, and there is a street of restaurants at the door. The front desk uncle was very enthusiastic, and gave us a map when we checked in, and also circled all the main attractions, business districts, bus stations, airport buses, etc., which was clear and concise. The room is relatively small, with only necessary facilities. It is an older hotel, but it is still very clean, and the price is there, suitable for friends with a limited budget.

Good location. There are many restaurants downstairs. It is also convenient to go to attractions. The only thing is that the room is relatively small. If you have a large luggage, I would not recommend it. It is OK to stay for one night. If you want to spend more, you really need to consider it.
