Where to stay in Malaga

Hotel was in a great spot for seeing the sights of malaga .The old town only a couple of minutes walk away.The hotel was clean and tidy but our room 513 had no view and was very hot as we could not alter the temperature of the air con.

Fantastic little hotel, tucked away just one row of the main Alameda street , close to bars restaurants and cafe . All transport link just a few minutes walk away . Good varied breakfast, hot and cold selections

I stayed for a week and it was great. The hotel is very clean, beautiful and right in the city center. The staff is also very professional and polite.

Room was well equipped, well decorated and comfortable. The bed was of a good size, and again, very comfortable. TV was a bit of a mystery to work out with few English channels. A shame the front door to the room was shabby, urgently needed a repaint and didn't create an initial good impression. Wonderful squeaky clean room with comfortable bed and furniture. Wonderful view of the Mediterranean and a short ten minute walk to lots of shopping ,restaurants and the train station.

Very spacious property located on golf course with access to beach, also has an outdoor pool on site. Lovely big room with outdoor patio and a very good bathroom. Only ate from the bar but perfectly acceptable. 15 minute drive from airport, why we chose it, and five minutes from a shopping mall with dining options and regular trains into Malaga. This property was perfect for what we needed. We spent an afternoon at the beach and headed to the airport early the next morning. They upgraded our room to a suite. We spent a great time there.

The facilities are too old, and it's located right on the flight path, so it's a bit noisy at night. I wouldn't highly recommend it. Parador seems to be part of a hotel group, which isn't very good in Spain. They mainly focus on vacation and relaxation, but everything is quite old.

The hotel is quite lovely, and I particularly enjoy the outdoor space, especially in the evening. However, it seems that the management might benefit from paying closer attention to the supplies provided in the rooms. While the location is in an industrial area, improved service could potentially offset this aspect.

What a lovely place to stay for our trip to Màlaga! Zahra at the reception desk was unbelievably friendly and helpful. The design the hotel is unique and fun, with an elevated beachy vibe. The hotel is very close to the train station, and even with a 27-inch suitcase it only took about five minutes to walk there, which was very convenient. The stay was overall very pleasant. The interiors of the hotel are beautiful and well designed, creating a nice atmosphere. The hotel room was large enough to fit a lot of luggage. The location was also good, but it was very noisy, making it difficult to get a good rest during the day and night. My La Prairie sunscreen had been opened and used when the staff cleaned the room the next day, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Good room and very central location, among the shops, restaurants, and bars of Malaga's pedestrian zone. If you're traveling by car, there are parking garages about a 5-minute walk away.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was calm, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Had 4 days here and was very impressed. Basic and a little dated but perfectly functional and clean. Service with a smile throughout. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The scenery is stunning! It's like an old 5 star hotel which is very suitable for staycation. The room inside is a bit old but it's acceptable. The hotel is located in the top of a hill. If you're not driving or taking the bus, you should prepare for a hike to get the hotel.

We had superior room - very spacious . Water left as welcome only on the first day! would expect it everyday with this class of Hotel. We had a nice balcony overlooking the port. Downside room was next to walkway up to castle from Malaga and youngsters still playing music at 2:30am. nothing too much trouble for staff, all very friendly and helpful.

I reserved this hotel at night on the very day of my stay. I got the first room on the 0 floor. I couldnt lock my room door. So I felt a little unsafe. The amenities were great but the room was old.

Wonderful experience in Malaga— it is clean, quiet and very beautiful with many cafes and restaurants around. The room was accessible and the check-in process was straightforward. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the old town plaza, and about 20 minutes from the nearest beach. Will happily come here again!

Excellent location within short walking distance to all site seeing areas, shopping and transport. Room was in good condition and cleaned daily. Fridge was small and not cool enough. No kettle facilities. Breakfast was average but lacking quality and some cutleries were not cleaned properly. Staff were excellent and helpful with special thanks to Miguel and Carolina. I still recommend the hotel.

The property doesn't have many amenities but the location and the staff are excellent. If all you need is a clean room and good location this is the hotel for you.

Place was spotless, room cleaned every day with fresh towels and condiments. Breakfast top quality with great selection. On departure day as it was before breakfast being served hotel made a takeaway picnic box which was top class and very welcome. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient.

The hotel is very clean and good service, But I experienced a bad situation in my last day, which is the heater is not working and I asked them they told me it’s your fault but I was feeling good at that night. I couldn’t even sleep so that is my bad experience.

Great hotel to spend the night before or after your flight. Super comfy, location is good. The only thing I would recommend the hotel to do is create a shuttle to the airport - otherwise the taxi is 9-20€ depending on the hour of the day.

I stayed at Ibis Budget Airport for few days with my wife. We had the best time and great experience here, all was over our expectations. We chose to take dinner and lunch in town, but in the last night had dinner at their restaurant, and the portions were enough and tasty. It’s ok hotel, we stayed for two nights there. The room has a window but it’s looking inside the building so no fresh air. Cheap bed sheets, feels not very comfortable

The location is really convenient, but it's very noisy with extremely poor soundproofing. People are always talking loudly in the hallway, and the noise of doors being opened and closed is very loud, severely disrupting sleep.

Great cozy hotel, giving you everything you need except a toilet brush in a room 😅 Breakfast is ok but do not expect much. The location is perfect. The only serious downside to me was a zero soundproof door.
