Hotel Acinipo in Ronda

The hotel is simple, but very well located, right in the historic center, near Puente Nuevo. It surprised me. I was expecting much less. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the breakfast is good too. The problem is the noise. In front of the hotel, there are recycling bins, and a truck passes by several times during the night to dump or collect (I don't know) glass bottles, and you wake up startled by the noise. On the only night I spent there, I woke up three times with bottles being dumped. Meanwhile, I must give 5 stars for the reception service. It was the best service I've ever had in over 40 years of traveling. Upon arrival, José simply gave us a lesson about the city, marked on a map everything we couldn't miss, and gave us every possible tip to make the most of our stay. This made all the difference for us. Fuad was also very friendly and helpful the next day. We were so well received that the nighttime noise ended up taking a back seat.

Let's start with positives: staff were nice and welcoming. The room was large and clean. It's very central and well-located, next to the bull ring.

Now the negatives: the room was situated above a narrow street full of bars and restaurants so it was *very* noisy till very late at night and noisy again in the morning as the bartenders were setting the parasols, tables and chairs. (See pictures)

Also, we had to stay in the dark as the room was opposite another building that could look into our room so we didn't have any privacy, especially in the bathroom. We couldn't enjoy the natural light. It's a shame the hotel hasn't added light white curtains before the dark ones, even though the railing for both are set up.

If you don't mind all of this then this hotel's for you!

Just ok ...not a 4☆ .rooms comfortable .breakfast quite poor quality....in the room there was a full length door that opened to to front of the hotel with no barrier .you could just fall out .very dangerous .should be locked
