Hotel Rural Molino Del Puente Ronda in Ronda

Absolutely perfect. A real ‘wow’ moment when were shown to our room. Our room (No 2) had an enormous terrace over looking the river where we sat on our comfortable loungers listening to beautiful birdsong. We relaxed later by the pool and then later had a delicious meal. Had a good nights sleep due to the comfortable pillows ( which seem a rarity in Spain) . Breakfast was the best that we’ve had so far on our 12 day cycle trip.

Elaine, the perfect host, and Ian warmly welcomed us when we arrived at this beatiful boutique hotel: this family turned a ruin into a pearl. Elaine showed us the room for our two nights stay, and even our 11 years young grandson wrote "how romantic" on our family app. After reading the menu for that evenings dinner, it was not a difficult decision to stay in the hotel in stead of going to Ronda (10 km): the dinner really was perfect, and enough reason to enjoy it also the next day. We had an absolutely amazing stay at El Molino del Puente Rhonda while celebrating a 50th birthday with a group of friends. Elaine, Ian, and their team were truly exceptional so warm, helpful, and accommodating and they made the entire weekend feel extra special and unforgettable. Before we arrived the communication was great, and Elaine organised the party for us including decorations and cake. We’ll definitely be back. You all are fantastic!

Staying with Elaine and Ian was like visiting with a favorite cousin. Alongside a small River, the hotel is charming and homey, very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was satisfying and the restaurant meals superb.

Lovely friendly relaxed. boutique hotel in great location - perfect for visiting Ronda - and run by Elaine and Ian who are super welcoming hosts who can’t do enough to make your stay lovely. Very reasonable prices and our room was great with a log burner which was set every day and we lit on all of our 3 nights there.

An excellent weekend in a wonderful venue. The hotel is everything we had hoped for with clean accomodation and a beautiful tranquility that is usually difficult to find. Outstanding service and a room that we were delighted with. The views are spectacular. The dinner was absolutely wonderful and the whole environment was one we would highly recommend. There were one or two niggles with the quality of the breakfast but certainly nothing to detract from awarding five stars. I would certainly assure you that if anything does go wrong on your visit I am sure they would speedily and gladly rectify the situation. Lovely venue. Lovely people. Lovely cat. A jewel.

We've just returned from an 8 night stay here and if time allowed, would have stayed indefinitely! This is an amazing family run hotel, sympathically restored from an old mill with food to die for. We stayed in room 14, an extremely spacious room upstairs (there is a lift/elevator as well as stairs) with a very comfortable bed, sofa and large bathroom consisting of a walk in shower and luxurious round bath. The room overlooked a small river and opening the window each morning filled the room with beautiful birdsong. All staff are cheerful, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The owners, Ian and Elaine (both English with fluent Spanish) greeted us each morning and Elaine was always on hand to advise us of places to visit and things to do. On the one morning that we went out before breakfast, Elaine made us a lovely picnic to take with us which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast is table service, plentiful and very filling. It saw us through each day until returning for our evening meal which was always delicious with a great menu choice. Don't miss the popular hotel special cocktail - Mango Tango - we became somewhat addicted! The library has free tea, coffee and cake available all day, everyday. If you're looking for a rural, quiet and relaxing stay, you can't get better than the Hotel Molino Del Puente, Ronda. Definitely recommended; we were sad to leave and return home.

A warm welcome, a cozy room, amazing restaurant and very handy for exploring Ronda. The hosts were fantastic, nothing too much trouble. A great place to stay and we can’t wait to return

The restaurant and pool area were really clean and cozy

Thanks for a lovely few days, 10 minute easy drive from Ronda itself, fairly quiet apart from the odd train that passes by, pool area looked lovely but we didn’t use as wanted to spend our time exploring the area. Ronda itself was amazing for views and walks. Breakfast was good, eggs and bacon, meats and fruit, coffee good. The owners and staff were very nice people, couldn’t do enough for you. Only downside is remoteness and the not opening of the restaurant on the Monday night😢 apart from that, highly recommended, thanks Elaine and Ian. Their 20th anniversary party with BBQ and live music was really good.
