The hotel is right at the heart of the Gothic district. Beautiful view on the balcony. However, the rooms are rather small and pricey. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that can speak English though, so that's definitely a plus for all you English tourists.

Stayed in this hotel for a week during the 2019 December holidays. No AC needed, so can't comment on that. Heater is powered by hot water so you can't control the heat. Wifi is great but there's a notice that says it's not secured - would not recommend doing any banking transactions.. You also need to sign in to the wifi multiple times during your stay. Basic necessities are provided like new towels and toiletries. Bed is comfortable and the hotel provides extra blankets for the winter. Location wise - amazing. Right in the middle of the gothic quarters, pretty great price to live here!

However the NOISE really prevents you from sleeping.. you could hear trucks travelling all night.. and garbage trucks sweeping the streets! The church bell goes off every 15mins and every hour... Would not recommend staying for longer than 4 days unless you're not powered by sleep..

This place is more or less a one bedroom studio within the guise of a hotel. You enter at a different side of the building from reception so you don't really see the staff much. For one person it is quite spacious. The bed was comfortable but very noisy for someone who turns over in their sleep a lot. There was an air condition but it didn't look very wholesome so I slept with the windows open. Warning: sleeping with windows open allows people from around other buildings to see inside your room and allows sounds from outside.At this location, there is always activity outside so sleeping with windows open if you need quiet, this is not the place for you. The location was very good though, close to two metro stations, Jaume and Liceu, and a busy street and plaza with numerous cafes, bars, convenience stores, etc. The price was not bad for the short notice either. Housekeeping is not done on a daily basis but rather once a week, if requested I think.

Great location in the heart of the gothic quarter. Comfortable clean rooms, friendly reception. View from balcony and people wathching great fun! Very good budget accommodation choice central to all Barcelona has to offer. Would definitely stay here again!
