Picasso Pension in Barcelona

Its a hostel , I get it. But its been the most disgusting hostel I have been to so far. First of all trying to find it was a challenge since there was not sign at all at the entrance or a bell with name on it. The reception or check in was, for some bloody reason, all the way up to the 4th - 5th floor , no elevator and no signs whatsoever. Once we checked in turns out our room was all the way down on the ground floor.

The place its a noisy pub ALL NIGHT long from mon-sun, bars are located below plus the noise of other guests of the hostel, the only thing that separates one room from another is a "sealed" door. The third day, a lady looking for reception approached us to complain about "chinchillas" that affected friends of her that stayed in the hostel a few days ago, I honestly thought she was exaggerating but.... a few days later I start getting bitten and rushes on my legs.
After complaining with the cleaning lady that was cleaning the toilet she talked to reception and they sent me a ray spray for bugs....

Needless to say, it was a last minute decision on why we decided to book with them. I don't recommend this "Hostel" at all to anyone. You won't get sleep and you will feel disgusted all your stay. But if you are an extreme adventurer and just need a bed , go ahead.

Not bad for a hostel, the things I didn't like were the lack of airconditioning, cheap pillows and lack of sign for the entrance. Also we had to confirm we would be there a few days prior, lucky we saw the email or we wouldn't have had our room
