Barcelona was the final stop on our European trip, and our stay at the Vincci Bit hotel caused significant inconvenience and unpleasantness for my family and me.

First, let's talk about the good aspects. Although the hotel isn't in the city center, it's very close to the beach, about a 10-15 minute walk. In terms of transportation, it's only a few hundred meters from the L4 metro line, roughly a 10-minute walk. There's a large supermarket, small restaurants, and cafes nearby, making daily life quite convenient. Additionally, the hotel's breakfast was quite good. While European breakfasts can often be a bit limited in variety, the quality here was definitely above average.

Now, regarding the hotel's service, I experienced unfair treatment during both check-in and check-out. At check-in, as there were several of us and we had all booked and paid through Ctrip, we only needed to pay the city tax. However, the front desk attendant immediately asked us to pay over 200 euros, including city tax and breakfast. Since my Ctrip bookings had always included breakfast, I meticulously inquired about each charge. She explained it in English with a very strong Spanish accent and an extremely impatient tone. It turned out she had made a calculation error, and in the end, we only paid the city tax. The difference was more than 150 euros!

At check-out, I encountered a different female front desk attendant who immediately told me that the previous attendant had miscalculated at check-in and we still owed about 30 euros in city tax. I was very puzzled at the time because the city tax is a fixed amount per person per day, so how could it be miscalculated? After repeated questioning from my side, it turned out the hotel front desk had miscounted the number of people in our party. Throughout the whole process, perhaps my English wasn't perfect, leading to some communication barriers, but the hotel's front desk staff had an extremely poor attitude. They didn't seem to realize it was their mistake and certainly showed no customer service awareness. There might even have been a hint of discrimination towards us!

When traveling, one always hopes for a smooth and safe journey. Being subjected to such unfairness and negligence left my family and me with a very poor experience.
