We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights , location is so good so convenient , within walking distance ! The staff are so friendly and helpful , we express here our thanks to Xinyin and Ian ! We have a wonderful trip in Barcelona

It can’t be more central - this is what our local friends described. And on the leaving day, we found out the airport shuttle is just 5min walk away. It’s just so perfect with a pram / two pieces of luggage

They even connected us to visiting doctors, ambulances, and hospitals. It was such an amazing and kind experience. I was very worried because the language is different and it was an unfamiliar environment

Exceptionally clean, quiet and amazing service. They offer buffet breakfast for 28Euros per person with lots of options. Situated in a not too crowded area, 15-20 mins walk-away from many attractions

Lovely little pool on the 6th floor, only 4 sun beds so it’s great for a couple of hours chill & that’s it. All the staff were friendly, helpful, polite & courteous. Great breakfast, lots of variety

My friend was very sick when I stayed here. This hotel provided all the services. They gave me water and plastic bags and told me the location of the pharmacy 24 hours a day

Guests can book 30 minutes daily, including a massage pool, sauna, and more. After a long day exploring the city, it was the perfect way to unwind

The room had a coffee machine with sugar and creamer sachets, which was a nice touch. The service was excellent, with lots of thoughtful details. There are plenty of coffee shops and brunch restaurants nearby

Very good service by all the waiting staff at breakfast and a big shout out to Ben on the roof terrace. He went above and beyond in helping our family of 6. Spa was great with sauna and small pool

Really loved the design of both the public areas and the room. Everything was comfortable, except for the bathroom – it wasn't soundproof and didn't ventilate smells well, haha

The spa experience is only 30 min per day, and cannot be extended, which didn't feel sufficient, but it was included, so I am not complaining, just letting other people know!

The entire city feel very safe to us, so I am sure most locations you select in Barcelona you don't need to worry about safety much

The location is very convenient, close to Gràcia Avenue, but it's a 10-minute walk to Casa Batlló. Our room had a balcony, so it was a bit noisy at night, but the bedding was very comfortable

Overall -Would 100% go back! -A stunning hotel with excellent service Pros -The breakfast was amazing- they’ll even make you a take away coffee :) -Service / hospitality was amazing. Everyone was only too happy to help

The service and location are first-class! Because the hotel could not provide the room type I booked, they gave me a slightly smaller room and took the initiative to refund 30% of the paid room fee to Trip

We were expecting only a Christmas tree, so the gifts were an incredibly touching surprise. The Christmas dinner was also outstanding, both delicious and beautifully prepared. Even small details stood out

The hotel is in a great location, and it is very convenient to go to the city center attractions. The room is not bad, and the hotel service is also OK. When I entered the room, I found that it was a king-size bed room

We had a fabulous time at the Hotel Catalonia Magdalena in Barcelona. The hotel had a great location in the Bari Gothic quarter a block away from Via Laietana. Easy access to shopping and restaurants and transportation

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly, and the rooftop terrace is very cozy. The rooms were always cleaned very early, which was great if you arrived at the hotel early in the afternoon

Best service I’ve had from a hotel ever. Simo is the probably the nicest concierge in all of Barcelona.  Helped me locate my lost phone.  Would recommend to all travelers, well worth the money.

If you have time, it is recommended to go to the rooftop swimming pool on the 6th floor to feel the sunset, and don't forget to get welcome champagne from the bar!

Wonderful staff very nice and extremely helpful (we have had a emergent health issue before we leaved and the reception has immediately arranged a late check out for us without asking for additional fee payment) Well located hotel

We were a bit confused by the glass bathroom door, which doesn’t close properly and has large gaps — it’s directly opposite the bed, which felt uncomfortable. This detail isn’t visible in any of the hotel photos

It was our first time in Barcelona and this was a great choice. The location is great but also not very busy/ touristy. Nearby you have a lot of small bakeries to have your morning coffee and sandwich

The rooms are spacious and clean. The personnel is very helpful. At the check out, we were offered to store our bags and pick them up later ( we had our flight in the evening)

There was works right outside but it didn’t bother us as the windows were sound proof. Lovely staff who were on hand to do anything. Lovely touches with chocolates & sweets in reception if you fancied

The staff was amazing, it smelled so fresh and the hotel was quaint but upscale. Songalo, the front door man, was so friendly in greeting us at the door and quickly providing the best service

This hotel is located off the busiest street in the city. Close to many restaurants and shopping. From the minute we walked in, you could tell this was a high end hotel

The rooms are very well appointed. The bed was super comfortable and they provide many amenities. There is a rooftop bar, that we used every night of our stay

I felt like we had a friend in the city! The hotel does list this as a soundproof room. However, you can hear everything going on in the street below

This is a very busy part of the city so keep that in mind if you are looking for a quiet area. There were people outside milling around even at 1am

For those traveling with their furry friends it is pet friendly with a fee and amenities

The staff are very helpful and polite. The bed and pillows are sooooo comfy. Drinks in the bar are cheap especially compared to Barcelona prices. The breakfast is great, so many options and actual fresh OJ

Stayed here for my husbands 30th then today for his 40th. The room was smaller than I remembered and the balcony needs a much higher stable rail. But that is where the negative comments end

The location is also good, however, as a single female traveller, I would recommend my fellow ladies to be cautious in the evenings/at night as there are a lot of homeless/drunk people in the area

The breakfast is really nice and generous, although, the buffet could be refilled more often. The orange juice is divine and the Illy coffee is the perfect way to start your day

Stayed here for a week on a business trip. The room is nice and spacious, however, extremely humid which couldn't be helped by the A/C either

The hotel is in a good location and very clean.

The room was spacious as well as the bathroom which had plenty of counter space. I liked the bathrobe and slippers. I don’t know why all hotels don’t just provide slippers. A large bottle of water was provided

The gym/sauna of the hotel is super small and because of that, it is allowed to be used one person at a time upon reservation

Very attentive - Review First off, the hotel's location is excellent. The popular Jon Cake and the Spanish churros shop are nearby, and there's a supermarket right across the street, which is super convenient

From the exterior, you still see the classic architectural curves and aged character of the city, while inside, the interiors are dark, modern, contemporary, and thoughtfully designed

Rooms are clean and a good size. Beds are comfortable. Close to all landmarks very safe place need a hotel card to get in. Breakfast is good different items. Will comeback. Nice terrace, sauna and a jacuzzi.

Cozy family hotel. The location is super, within walking distance to many attractions. The metro and bus stops are just 2-3 minutes away.

Location is really perfect on Metro Line 3 & 5 that drive you anywhere. I will recommend you the spanish restaurant in front of the hôtel which offered us awesome paella. A menu for 2 people around 60 euros with wine

There's a 'Hammer Restaurant' nearby, which serves delicious Sichuan and Chongqing cuisine! The metro station is right at the corner, just a two-minute walk from the hotel entrance, making it convenient to go anywhere! There are also bus stops where you can use your ten-ride pass! Very convenient! The price is also acceptable, especially considering the prime location and transportation advantages

[Important! This has nothing to do with the hotel itself! Make sure to buy water and other items at a large supermarket, because the small convenience stores on the street below the hotel are super expensive! For example, a 1

5L bottle of water that costs €0. 8 at Carrefour will cost you €2 at these small stores! Remember! Try to find a Carrefour (or a large supermarket) to buy anything before returning to the hotel

Highlights/Memorable dishes: The onion, cheese, anchovy, and enzyme dish was deeply savory and full of umami. Their interpretation of onion soup was comforting yet refined, and the flavors worked perfectly together

Crisp prawn chips, a broth full of rich prawn-roe aroma, incredibly sweet and snappy flesh, and stone bass adding even more umami. Fabada ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Smoky meat with creamy beans — comforting but not particularly memorable

Mediterranean Red Shrimp ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tender, sweet, and crisp shrimp with an even richer, more intense flavour in the head. Carabinero Prawn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An enormous carabinero prawn, almost the length of a forearm

Beef Fricandó ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Silky sauce, tender beef, and crunchy morels. Quite enjoyable as long as you don’t think of it as sukiyaki. Yogurt ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The ice cream has a unique freshness with citrus notes

Great! The squid with Roman style caviar was another hit! Think squid tartare topped with caviar. Simple and delicious! Naturally, my friend and I went all out and ordered a bottle of wine each

All in, I spent around $700 for two, including the $200 deposit required to secure the reservation. Overall, money well spent and a solid Michelin experience. I would definitely recommend it

This hotel is clean and beautiful (apart from the slightly small bathroom), conveniently located, and the front desk staff speak good English. I'll definitely book here again next time I visit Barcelona

We stayed for 3 nights in early May and very much enjoyed the hotel. Our room was large and beautiful. We liked having the view over the street and the windows kept the room very quiet

Even though it's an older hotel, it's very clean inside. It's super convenient for getting to all the attractions and shopping. They offer coffee and small cookies after 11 AM, and the lounge area is really comfortable.

A bit mediocre, the photos are a little misleading. The place is actually quite old. It's much older and more expensive than similar hotels in Paris

Had one bad night due to noisy guests in next room. But night clerk took care of it quickly and effectively. But understandable as we were informed that the whole place will be getting a re-fit in the winter

One disappointment with the suite itself is that the sitting room was tiny with only a chair for one. The room was otherwise comfortable and on the plus side the hot tub and shower with bodyjets were awesome

The spa was a perfect antidote for throbbing feet and aching body after a day of walking. The staff was beyond kind and helpful. We had our best meals in the restaurants around the hotel

I also thought it was a bit cheeky to be told I wasn't charged for a mere 1 hour late checkout because of the cockroach. It really tainted the stay as I was constantly checking the room for more cockroaches

(no sign of the advertised turkish bath or sauna on the website either) Breakfast at €18 is expensive if you only want a coffee and croissant, better to goto a local coffee…

The property places wash cloths in the bathroom without having to request-not typical in Europe-much appreciated

Rooms are basic but that’s what you would expect from this hotel however bed is comfortable and has tea coffee drinks etc. has a tiny gym which i didn’t use and doesn’t have a bar but there are others close by

If you need fitness you may prefer to run down the diagonal, the fitness centre here is cozy, a few of typical machines but a bit sterile…not really a great place to work up a sweat…

Prime location in city centre near the metro, making our trips to main attractions easy. The room had every thing we needed. The room got cool very quickly after aircon was turned on. Clean and modern-looking room
