Hotel Vibra Riviera in San Antonio Abad

We stayed here for a week in May, its a lovely looking hotel, with a couple of pools which were also lovely, albeit a little cold (although you soon got used to it)! Rooms are basic, but include balconies which is nice, especially if you manage to get a sea view. The location is great, a short walk to the beach and water taxi over to the main part of San Antonio (although the walk is also lovely if you manage it!) And there are a number of shops, and restaurants just a stones throw from the hotel. And a bus and taxi rank just outside the hotel, so is a great base! Just a couple of things that would have improved our stay: - Half way through the week, a large number of the sun beds disappeared from the swimming pool areas, meaning we couldn't use the area, this was like this for 2 days, when they all suddenly reappeared. When all beds are there, there is plenty of space for guests. - The food was incredibly bland and lacking choice, within 2 days we were already bored of it (including the kids), and it was never piping hot. But other than that, we did enjoy our stay, it was clean, staff were quick and helpful (including when there was an electrical fault in our room), although I wouldn't choose to stay here again based on the food choice (or lack of).

Rated this a 3 as the apartments are very average and as basic as they come, and the pool area is also very basic. Lots of broken sun loungers, but they are quite plentiful. We arrived early and had to pay €80ish to check-in an hour early. I understand for a late check out, but not for an early check-in of the room is ready. Apartments not overly clean. Beds are ok. Breakfast was ok. Staff were fine. If you’re looking for a bit of luxury, this is not it. If you’re happy with a no frills room with a bed, this is ok.
