The hostel is very well organized, has a great atmosphere, they give also many tips for tourism and the pub crawl is amazing. There only improvement point is related to the breakfast where there are no options with proteins.

Such a great hostel! Would highly recommend staying here. There is a also a bar on the top level which has some great roof top views. Marco who worked there was super helpful! And they provide great recommendations of Madrid complete with their own map, very cool.

Good organization, great bathrooms, really clean. They have open spaces to talk, drink and eat. Beds are good enough. In the center of Madrid, good access to the city. Not so great street, but who really cares. REALLY good hostel for the price. I've gone there two times with a group, good experience both times. Would recommend.

Amazing hostel! Stayed 4 nights (originally 2 and extended and they accommodated us easily). Towels for rent, 2€. They provide a free walking tour that was AMAZING! Highlight of our trip! Tapas your that evening for 15€ that was a great way to meet people. Rooftop bar with 2 for 1 drinks at night.

One of the better hostels I've been to over the years. Very clean, friendly staff, and the atmosphere in the place is very welcoming. We quickly made friends with other guests. The Hat also offers pub crawls and has an upstairs bar (which possibly also serves food; I can't remember).

I was travelling for a few weeks and stayed in hostels. This hostel was the best of all. They had get togethers, so it was super easy to meet new people.
It was super clean and I had great sleeps

Clean and hygienic, the room even smelled good. They also let me check in early, and there was a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk. Overall, a very satisfying stay, and the location is great too!

Althought the restaurant look nice from the outside, the food was very poor. It came straight from the microwave, so we were waiting under 5 minutes for 5 dishes. Below average and overpriced, typical touristic location. One of the worst restaurants I visited in Madrid ever. The pictures should say everything.

I've never written a bad review ever. This was by far the worst experience in my two months in Spain. So rude, we ordered our beers, heard the bartender and his buddy making fun of us in Spanish and left. We both knew enough Spanish to know what they were saying. F' this place.

The calamari portion is way too small and the taste is average. The sangria is a little diluted. Service was alright but the dishes we came for were all not available and it was a disappointment really.

I recommend the selection of pinchos, which are 10, strong and at a good price, ideal for sharing. They have a wide selection of beers. The site is nice although the service is not the most attentive in the world.

We were in The Camrilla, on Saturday, October 25, 2015. To celebrate the birthday of a friend. That bad choice ! The dishes are tiny, the opposite of the price. And mostly without flavor. The pork is too dry, as the flesh of the other dish chosen by my friend. And to accompany : 4 fried. If 4, not more !!!! The waiters do what they can, but they know that the cook is bad bad. Only thieves. Stay away from that !! Usual, I love a lot the restaurentes Spanish, and this is the first time that I'm disappointed like that. Especially for a gift. We have taken the dessert out. A verguënza this Clique. Anthony

I have already gone several times and always happy, the cake of carrots, I love a weakness (but should not) ....and the red wine from Ribera del Duero very rich, also the bags, the tempe and the cod, in general, all highly recommended. The service is very good. Not will I take in return.........

Awesomely tasty Canarian specialties. They didn’t have an English menu, but the waiter spoke good English. She was busy - but fast. We ordered 4 different dishes - and they kept on coming in perfect order and pace. We’ll be back.
