The receptionist does not speak a word of English!! That's unacceptable if you work in a Hotel in a huge international city! (I'm not a native English speaker), hard to find (no real sign on the street), no toilets on the floor and you always have to ring a doorbell and wait before you can even get into the building.

I checked in and an hour later I started to receive text messages off a sexual nature from the guy on reception telling me to touch myself these continued up until midnight he was outside my door I reported it to to property owner nothing was done

The hostel's location is perfect if you want to be in the city center. This makes things much easier when organizing your visit. The quality/price ratio is reasonable. The place is very clean. The facilities are a bit outdated since it's in an old building, making it a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, it's fine. The hostel's location is perfect if you want to be in the city center. + Wonderful hotel. The location of the center. In walking distance to all the sights. To the Atocha train station 15 minutes walking distance. The Prado Museum is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Near the hotel there is a huge number of metro stations, restaurants, shops, bars and so on. The room was clean, every day cleaned and brought clean towels. Price is fully consistent quality .

It was very very busy. The menu looked great and ribs appetizing, but in reality they were very chewy as they had not been slow cooked. Service was fast and the impromptu line dance from the staff was entertaining.

Worst experience ever, food late 1:20 min , burgers came cold and we found a long hair inside the burger !!!

Trying too hard to be a real American restaurant but the food is not that great. The staff is friendly so that is a positive thing.

We arrived at 3:30, it was busty and we were told it would be a 10 minute wait, fine we said so sat by the bar expecting to get a drink. Well the staff were all going non-stop but there was no one serving at bar and now half a dozen of us sat twiddling our thumbs. We eventually did get a drink and a table, but again a long wait to order our food, which we did just after 4pm!
I had the Sirloin Steak, I asked for medium, it was medium rare, as was my partners, still tasted good and I recommend the onion rings as a side.
So, good food, the Waitress's were doing a sterling job serving, but the place more staff and this would sadly but me off eating there again.

Real gem of a hotel - excellent value for its location and the service you get. I travelled for a conference and spent 3 nights here, and it was so comfortable - pillows and bed were perfect, Wifi excellent, and staff friendly. It was also a quiet room despite its central location.
Really easy to get to from the airport - a 25 min bus ride and 10 min walk, and walking distance to many central attractions. I'd definitely stay at this or another Petit Palace again, I was that impressed.
I didn't have any breakfast as this was provided at the conference but did grab a cheese, tomato and ham croissant from the cafe one morning which was tasty.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Petite Palace Hotel! The room was spotless and beautifully maintained — you can tell that cleanliness is a real priority here.

One of my favorite details was the antique cast iron elevator — it gives the hotel such a unique, historic character. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and making sure everything was perfect.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience — cozy, charming, and full of character. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

It was close to main tourist attractions and restaurants.

I really enjoyed the hotel's hospitality. The service is great. They made our bed every morning, the shower is clean, the service in the lobby is great, always with a pleasant smile and good advice. The location of the hotel is fantastic and you can get anywhere from there. The hotel is located opposite a metro station in the heart of Madrid in a fun neighborhood full of local bars and restaurants, so the prices are low compared to places for tourists.

Super courteous staff, very helpful. This accommodation has a quaint café attached to it serving great coffee and snacks; plus, the location is walkable to every tourist site, making it ideal for travellers. Very close to the metro station as well!

Booked this hotel very last minute since our air b&b fell through. The room was decorated very nicely and the beds was very comfortable . Great location with amazing restaurants right across the street!!

Great hotel! Repairs in 2016-17. A quiet city center. Supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast with such a variety of fruits, meats, delicious sausages and pastries.... Scrambled, fried, etc. also optional. Coffee and champagne for Breakfast is great! We next time only here!
PS. On the fifth floor, the rooms are dark.

Hotel has recently been refurbished so it's pretty much new! Clean and comfy rooms, efficient staff and favourable location as it's within walking distance from great shops, bars and restaurantes.
