My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in March, our stay was awesome! It is right in front of the beach, and has sun beds too. The room was huge, and we lucked out with an upgrade. The staff, especially the owner, were super helpful and friendly! Our favourite part of the hotel was Brown!

We are really happy to choose this hotel for our honeymoon. They treated us very well. Very nice environment. Definitely the best place to visit if you are coming to Sri Lanka from abroad .We were able to spend our day beautifully in this place with a beautiful view.I would like to thank Mr. Dhanuka, the owner of the hotel, for making everything so beautiful for us. We look forward to coming to this place again.

Aussie Swiss Beach hotel is located in the end of Weligama beach, in a very tranquil corner next to an estuary.
The sea view - room is very spacious with high ceilings and it is furnished with srilankan local wood carvings. The bed is comfortable with mosquito nets. The room is air conditioned, has a fast internet, fridge, kettle with tea/coffee, tv, safe, hair dryer, beach towels and racks to dry towels and swimwear on the balcony. The balcony is spacious, is furnished and has a lovely sea view.
The spacious wc/shower room has also a rain water shower with adequate hot water with good pressure.
The room and shower are clean.
An annoying problem is the noisy a/c-units’ in the corridor and the water pump; the noise might keep you awake. The a/c units’ outdoor machines need to install rubber pieces between the unit and the L-rack to avoid the noise.
The breakfast contains real tea (yummy, not tea bags!), coffee, fruit, fruit juice, an egg dish e.g. omelette, toast, butter and jam.
I had a lovely curry dinner at the hotel: tasty and plenty!
A small problem is the waiter who does not speak any English. However, he is very service oriented.
On the beach the hotel has a few sun beds, the beach is 4 km long and tranquil. There is one ugly building work of a high rise apartment. Luckily it is far from this hotel. A tuktuk takes you in a few minutes to the rather crowded and livelier Mirissa beach.
I was there in the end of February-24.

Lack of basic hotel amenities
- Cold shower. We stayed 2 nights and didn't have hot water for shower either night.
- No kettle in room.
- No hair dryer in room.
- Wifi passwords have to be obtained froms staff via QR Codes.
- No phone in room, so you can't call even the front desk.
- No TV in room.
- The door to the balcony has no handle on the outside, so once outside you cannot close the door, and bugs get in.
- Window shades do not go all the way down without having to struggle with the strings.
- Hotel tried to charge 3% more for using credit cards for payment.
Overall, there are just so many issues with the property that it does not feel like a properly functioning hotel.
It is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in during my 2 weeks travel across Sri Lanka.

Great picturesque location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, good friendly staff. lovely first impression of hotel with a garland. It was clean, stylish and excellent service at restaurant where we had dinner. Food was delicious and great value for money. I was very pleased and I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Perfect location. Great staff who were always ready to help. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made. The masseuse is wonderful! Would definitely return!

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Dhanuka ( owner of the hotel)and the very friendly staff.They all made our stay a memorable one. The rooms were spacious.The authentic Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. We Would definetely recommend Aussie Swiss hotel to everybody. It's a true example of excellent hospitality. Thank you 🙏🏼 Rohan and Lakshi (England)

We had a perfectly pleasant one night stay at Aussie Swiss Beach Resort in April 2022. When we arrived, as with everywhere in Sri Lanka, the hotel management and staff could not have been nicer, helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and had all essentials one might need. Outside was a nice little grassed patio area and it was right on the beach. We had dinner at short drive away Mirissa Beach and were up and off very early the next day for a boat trip, so cannot comment on any catering.
