Great facilities and providing a lovely open space to chill. There’s live music at night. Staff has helped set up extra bed as per request. The wifi signal can be slightly improved.

The property is beautiful and well-maintained, boasting a fantastic location with stunning views of Sigiriya Rock directly from the pool. For anyone planning an early morning ascent of Sigiriya Rock, I highly recommend choosing this hotel. The walk back from Sigiriya Rock to the hotel was only about 15 minutes, which was incredibly convenient. We also made use of the on-site Ayurvedic spa; it was wonderfully relaxing and very reasonably priced. All the staff members were exceptionally kind and friendly, ensuring we had a truly comfortable and pleasant stay.

Enjoy an elegant moment by the poolside with breathtaking views of Sigiriya Rock. The hotel grounds are also home to various species of monkeys and wild birds, such as kingfishers, allowing for easy and enjoyable observation.

We really loved our stay with Sigiria.
Hotel allows you to use it's facilities before and after check in/out. Rooms are big and comfortable. Pool is very pictersque and location is perfect for walking around the area.
Breakfast is nice, dinner just good.

We chose Hotel Sigiriya due to its proximity to The Lion Rock entrance. Distance from hotel is roughly 8 mins. Please note, it’s advisable to not WALK!

Remember to order a tuk-tuk in advance if you plan to climb Sigiriya and watch the sunrise. We left at 5am and paid a return ride of LKR1,500 for two person. Our tuk-tuk driver Chaminda +94 ********* took good care of us -two 50yrs old ladies who successfully climbed the summit.

Typical of Ceylonese people the hotel staffs were warm and friendly. Shout out to Tharaka (Reception Manager) who always greeted us with a smile and Shehan Restaurant Manager for entertaining us during our 3 day stay.

Our room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Good hot shower and acceptable water pleasure. Nice to return to a room that’s been nicely made after 2 hard days of stairs climbing - the Pidurangala (first day) and Sigiriya (second day). Our travel dates were May 31 - Jun 3.

Good variety for breakfast buffer - Sri Lankan and Western. The same applies to dinner buffer too. Overall, nice hotel and yes will stay again.

This hotel in Sigiriya was very nice, the room was spacious, the food selection at the restaurant was great! :) the pool is facing the Lion’s rock and it’s super beautiful. The hotel is just 5 to 10 mins drive to the rock , so quite convenient to get there for your hike. Recommend you to do hike in the early morning , so there are not so many people. The service was excellent. Recommend.
