If you're looking for an oasis inside the city, the Highbury is the place. I stayed on a long term business trip, and it was exactly what I was looking for after long work days. The accomodations are clean, WiFi strong, and the owners are kind and welcoming. The stay is a short Tuktuk ride away from major attractions and has some great restaurants nearby.

This was my first visit to Sri Lanka so i was not sure what to expect. I chose this hotel because it was closest to our outsourcing partner. The room was clean and it had everything i needed including AC. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, but i only tried the breakfast which was pretty decent.

Best place we could have stayed in. The hotel is stunning, the service couldnt have been better. Super clean rooms and very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great, with a lot of variety. We stayed 4 nights there and felt at home. Janaka took the best care of us and we are very grateful for his hospitality and kindness.

Just for night stay it's fine..to eat (breakfast/lunch/dinner) you need to come out to main road.. little walking. But if you can do self cooking then no issues..they have small kitchen.
